eeekkkkkk! I totally forgot it was by brother's birthday today, until I typed in the date. I think I say this every year but his birth date is 6/6/66. Too funny- I used to joke around with him when he were kids that I was going to shave his head to see if he had "The mark."

this morning is throwing me off completely- nothing is normal. I woke up at 4:30 stressing about Cait's packing. Not the fact that she was leaving on a bus for 3 days to DC, but the fact that as of last night, all she had packed was her *make-up.* But she got foo ok, i had to bring her over to the school at 6 am, home by 6;30, then Scott to the bus at 6;45. I saw Mama bear on the street on the way to the bus stop so i wasn't letting him walk. Next up is the boy I babysit for and then to work. My Friday client has summer hours and is now off on Fridays so I am doing her house on Wed's. So pretty much-- this is my brain today: :boom:

WWW:
I wish my life would be even slightly calm on occasion.
I want all of the kids and staff to have a fun and safe trip!
I wish on was on the trip with them...........

Chris, you've done more already today that i did all of yesterday! isn't it scary to have a momma bear with cubs in the neighborhood? we are always reminded in the PA woods that that's a dangerous bear because of the babies! i guess you just have to roll with it, right? they sure are CUTE, though! did you get your garbage can back?

speaking of bears, i think i'm going to the zoo today with my camera. i bought a membership because it made financial sense when my Grandmen and their fam were here a few months ago. since i can park and get in for free, might as well use it for my daily walk. and, of course, since this is Pittsburgh, it's a long walk up a giant hill, then back down again. we have a great zoo here. it'll be fun to be there (as long as there aren't 50,000 kids there on end-of-school-year field trips.) i think it might be a bit late for that, though.

well, so far the clean carpets are still clean. the Boomeister hasn't puked on anything yet. :puke: fingers crossed....

wow, it's fa-REEEZ-ing here!! what's with 46 degrees on June 6 at 7:21 a.m.??

enough boring blab from me. everyone--have a stellar Wednesday!

quickies for y'all!

Laurie- hahahah! Yes, your dream seems right out of the news!

Donna- how was the exercise class? Good idea to find the ladies laughing- you'll burn more calories that way for sure!

Oh Eva :( 44 pounds is not good.....
Good luck with getting him offline. When we used to ground the kids by taking away computers, they would pull out their phones- it was a losing battle unless we turned off the wireless router which of course meant that we lost internet. Maybe with the summer weather it will be a bit easier on all of you.
Good luck- when do you get to see the p-doc?

Nana- so proud of C-man too!! And yes, I do think we would act like that before the ::partywine

Tell Mike to stay away from my bears!!!

Trudy- You liked the pic of us? Good thing-- I think that *you* took it :pound:
I wish we could all meet up like Ona and the royal court. ;) How fun would that be.
Sadly, they wouldn't relocate the bears. My town is one of the ones that they relocate bears "to."

The mama has our garbage can, and it is right by her den. Gary has tried twice to get it but as soon as he sees the cubs, he knows to back away. We don't want to get the police or Animal control involved because they will tag her and if she is ever reported on again, they are authorized to immediately kill her. Unless she is actively trying to get into my house, I won't do it.

So, Phyllis how long did it take for your cat to puke on your freshly cleaned carpet? Its so sad how they just *know.*
SMH!
Sounds like that glass of wine was the perfect end to the day :) and hugs back, I love all of my imaginary friends who live in my computer too!

Laurie-oh no, that doesn't sound good about your doggy. How old is he? Maybe it is just a bit of a stomach bug?? (One can hope!)

Guess that is all I have time for- gotta run onto my next project..... looking fwd to a glass of wine at the end of today for sure!!!!

xoxo

Hi P!
Take me, take me, take me!!!! I love (nice) zoos. The kind that do natural habitat/free roaming style. Not the cage up the animals and put them on display. (I know- such a surprise that I would feel that way LOL)
Hope your weather is as nice as it is here, even if it is a bit cold. Gary turned the heat on this morning for an hour just to get the chill out of the house.

As for scary- its not as bad as it was when my kids were babies, that used to scare me, of course *everything* scared me back then LOL
We carry whistles on our key chains and look around the corners as we go outside. But mostly they just leave us alone.

OK. *now* I really need to go..... :D

Morning...

RAIN....that equals aching...I am moving slow slow slow this morning!!!

Last day of school....kids will all be here by 12 and I will have them until the end of August...:fear:
I will do my best to :behindsofa: from them as much as possible....if that does not work I will break out the :whip: and use it....but ultimately...I will probably just :yield: and do as they want me to.....

Booked our mini vaca for August...We are headed to Tennessee again....we just love it there and Jesse has never been on a vacation....even if he hadn't moved in with us, we still would have taken him this year. We are only taking him and Cameran...I am too old to chase after that many kids (I still remember what it was like chasing our five when we took them) .... We asked the boys what they wanted to do and they chose Dollywood (again). We found a hotel for 79/night (Pigeon Forge is one the CHEAPEST PLACES to stay) and this place is AWESOME....it has a whole water playgound of stuff at the hotel....it's off the main road..so in a bit more secluded area and only 10 minutes from Dollywood. It is a REALLY NICE place too..not a dump....and to top it off....DELUXE CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST INCLUDED...I love that, because that is my kind of breakfast!! I love fresh pastries and muffins!! We are such big kids ourselves so we love doing this stuff!!

Wish we could afford to go somewhere "real"...but I am not complaining..it's better than nothing!!

Chris- my dog is 12 or 13 years old, don't have the ehd hooked up to find his baby pics, but I am thinking 13- I may see if I can get him in today if I get a break in my pts- it stinks that I am the only one home right now- this is not something I want to do alone.

I'm a bit down today. Can't get out of the feeling that I've let my son down. I know, I'm a good mom, and I've done everything for him. Maybe I've done too much? Allowed him too much? I know it's typical female thing - you take the blame.

God, I love that kid. He's my own miracle. We learned - after John was born and we were trying for another baby - that I was really lucky to have conceived once. My "factory" isn't working properly. I've spoiled him rotten I know that.

It's June 6th - which mean National Holiday here in Sweden. I don't give a s**t - the rest of the country can celebrate.

Sorry for being so moody today.

L- thinking of you

E- I could have written almost all of what you just did with my kids' illness. Yes, you are a wonderful mom, never forget that.

xoxo

quick hello...gonna be heading out to the dentist soon me and all 3 girls will be seeing them all in one morning...what was i thinking?!?!

Happy Wednesday ladies... Its a beautiful sunny day here today! its about time!!! It has been so dull, grey and cold here, it felt more like October than June. Hope to get in a walk this morning before my day of work. Today I work from 9:45 to 6:15 the closing shift and look at that another full day!! Not really part time is it?? I told them this was the last time, I really have to start saying NO!!!! Good news... my daughter has booked her flight home for our family reunion this summer. She is coming out for a full month!!! Hooray!! Will have to get some days off so we can go shopping together and perhaps a day at the Calico Cat Tea House for our physic reading and a day at the spa would be nice too!! I miss her so much!! Hopefully my son and his family will be able to make the trip home too. They are getting transferred to Alberta and not sure if they will be able to get the leave time to make it out this summer. Keep your fingers crossed for them please!!

Chris - I swear that one of the trips that I make to Ontario to visit my daughter I am going to scoot across the border and come to see you!! I have always wanted to see New York and it would be the perfect opportunity to get together. I will have to put my thinking cap on and try to make this happen somehow. LOL yes I was the one that took the picture of you and Nana, but I'm too shy to be in front of the camera :pound: Sure hope Cait and her classmates have a great trip!!

Nana Linda - Loved your photos of the sun!! So glad you did not look into it!! Why oh Why did I not think to take a picture while I had those glasses?? They were really cool it blacked out everything and all you could see was this round yellow ball with the little black spot on the right of the sun. Well don't think I will see the next one... too bad!! :hurt: I will send out vibes to the universe for you to have the strength to get through the summer with your babies!! I know that you and your MG will be fine, you are both awesome for taking them all in!!

Laurie - Sure hope that you don't get bad news about your fur baby!! So hard to have to make that dreaded decision!!

Phylis - Sure hope your carpets stay clean at least for a few days!! Have you ever tried to use one of those little green machine cleaners, they work awesome for cleaning up spots of yuk!! Love your comment on the friend inside your computer! I love all my friends who live there too!! back at ya! Hope your day is divine!!

Eva - Don't you doubt for one minute that you are good Mom!! Our children do not come with Instructions and even if they did, who the hell reads Instructions!! We do the best that we know how, that's all we can do. Be comforted in the fact that none of us have raised the perfect child and the teenage years are difficult for every parent! Sending you lots of  this morning and hope that your mood improves today!!

Kristy - Have fun at the Dentist!! I guess it will be all done at once and you won't have to do another trip that's what you were thinking.

Well off to get in a walk in the sun this morning. Already made the bed, emptied the dishwasher and got a crock pot of chili going for supper tonight. Hope you all have a wonderful Wednesday!!
