Holy guacamole. I am a mess. Not a hot mess, that would actually be an improvement since I am still chilly. :pound:
I feel like everything around me is in zero-gravity. Have you ever felt that way, where things are there right in front of you and there is no way to get a grasp on it? I slept better last night so maybe I can get a bit more accomplished today than I did yesterday.

The rats are all good. Dilly's abscess is just scar tissue. Little Livvie shall now be known as Very Little Livvie. The bump that is on her chest is part of her sternum and the reason that it can be felt is because she is very, very little. The vet weighed them and she is 40% smaller than Titania and 20% smaller than Cordelia. He is not worried about her size since she is active and healthy. He said that she could be smaller because of her metabolism and activity level. Yup, I would agree with the activity level haha!!

The PT that is a half hour away from me no longer takes my insurance. The next closest is 45 without traffic. I spent so much time on the phone trying to figure it all out. My insurance company is expediting an approval for me to get covered for one closer to my home but I probably won't be able to get that before the weekend. Then I need to go to my GP for a referral. Make appt for the eval. Then get Authorization from the ins. co. to actually go for the PT sessions. SMH. It has to be easier than this-- it is crazy.

Today, I was hoping to get my tomato plants in the ground -- I honestly thought that Gary was going to work on that while I was away and I don't want them to get root bound. It is raining so they will have to wait until tomorrow.
That means I need to get my act together inside. I am going to walk around my house with a notebook and write down all of the things that I see that need attention. I walk from room to room while doing other things and think "I need to do X." Then I promptly forget all about it until the next time I walk into that room. Lather, rinse, repeat.
I am cleaning this afternoon and Gary is making pizzas for dinner, so the day should end well. :clap2:

Wishing you all a happy day!

Jean- How were your meeting and lunch? Hope that the food was yummy. Aww, I haven't seen too many bunnies out this year, we usually have some hanging out on our lawn. This year it all about the chipmunks. Enjoy working on the altered book.

Kay- Your weather is mind-boggling. I can't imagine seeing the wind and rain like that day after day. I hope that you can get warm soon too.
I called my mom yesterday to see how the Drs appt went. (I didn't mention this, but she told me on Friday that she had gone to the Dr for bad knee pain which is *very* unusual for her. She wouldn't go to the Dr voluntarily if she chopped her hand off) She had X-rays done and the follow up was yesterday morning. Within minutes of getting on the phone, she was complaining about something my dad did and she hasn't even talked to him since Sunday when we left. :frusty:

I am at a loss-- any ideas on how to handle this, my O-Fam????

Trudy- I LOOOOOVE that painting-- the colors are awesome!!
Sorry to hear that Hunter is cranky, is he getting his molars in, maybe? Scott was such a difficult teether. Thank goodness you were able to keep him occupied for a bit. It must have been nice for Heather to be able to breathe for a minute or two without having someone clinging to her.

Nancy- I know, it was soooo cold yesterday morning, this is June!!?? Yuck! Sorry, not sorry that the hockey games are being played so strangely LOL All good news for you! haha!

Felis- I love to listen to crickets too but I have heard any yet. Guess it hasn't been warm enough. So happy that you are enjoying your book and I hope that Trudy's sister can help you find some more that are in Bulgarian.
I hate when I *know* that I have an element or word art but cannot find it.

xoxo

good morning! It is cloudy and yet they are predicting it will get to 85. I hope for once the weather men are correct! Yesterday was scrapping and cooking. Today I have to go grocery shopping. Luther and I got in an early evening walk as we went to meet my DH as he walked home from the train. Felis there are lots of bunnies out now in our town and as we walked home there were two and they were playing chase. It was so cute and Luther so wanted to play. Tonight going out to dinner with my girlfriend so that will be fun. I watched Songland last night. There were 4 song writers who were hoping that Will I am from Blackeyed Peas would select their song. It is just so interesting to me in watching them come up with the final version. Will was so amazing in that an 18 year old had a great song and he said he would work with the young man as he felt he should not take his song. WOW. Anyway he picked all three for the new album. How cool is that. Still no hockey tonight. These two day waits are the pits.

Chris my DH said it lightly rained on him and Luther on their morning walk. I like the idea of walking around and figuring out what needs to be done. Glad you got such good news about the rats. That is too bad there is no rehab near you. And yes it should not be that hard to actually get to a rehab center. Looking forward to your pizza ending day helps the day go faster.

Trudy that painting is gorgeous. I love the colors. Hope Hunter is in a better mood. News in my hockey world is that Taylor Hall does not want to sign an extension with the Devils. He says he needs to be on a team that makes the play-offs. I laughed because he was injured last season so duh the MVP is injured and he wonders why the Devils did not do as well. I hate to get invested in players because they are either traded or leave. As a die hard fan I find it hard to see my players negative on my team. OH well.

Kay hope you are having better weather and were able to get to the store to get your fresh fruits and veggies.

Jean so how was the Mexican restaurant and the meeting?

Felis always nice when you pop in. I love the crickets. For me it is summer when the lightning bugs arrive. Glad you enjoy the rain. I do too if it is a gentle summer rain and at night.

Have a great day all!

Morning ladies... so far there are no signs of rain clouds out there, so I will be hiking today. Well not actually a hike, more, like a long interesting walk. Here is the description that was emailed to us about the hike... This Wednesday’s hike covers the dike that protects the City of Duncan on three sides. On the left side, as we walk, will be Somenos Marsh/Creek and Cowichan River both with their views of trees, fields, and water while the right hand side of the dike will afford us a different view of the city with its houses, schools, streets, and associated activities. Our break time will be along the Cowichan River in the peace and quiet of the forest and the water. Most of this hike is on the dike, but there will be some back street walking as we complete our loop and return to our start point. It will be approximately 8 kms of walking and so I should be home shortly after lunch. It will be good to be outside and enjoy the company of my fellow hikers! I am still struggling to put on the finishing touches of my layout that I started two days ago, but I should be able to get that done at some point today. I got my painting off to the gallery and look forward to seeing it in the window! Hoping for more sales, but with the commission that is put on top of what I want, it makes the art look very expensive to me. Oh well there are some out there that have the money I guess. I don't want to sell myself short, but I wonder if I am charging too much?? After dropping off my painting I walked around downtown and did some window shopping, so many cute little shops downtown! Then I went to Winners and found a couple of new tops and some shorts so I am ready for the warmer weather.

Chris - Yes I have had days like that and they are no fun at all! You know that things need to get done, but nothing ever seems to get done LOL. That is an excellent idea to walk around the house and make a list of everything that need attention!! You are so smart!! Thanks for the love on my painting, it was hard to let that go and it looked great in my kitchen, oh well if it does not sell then I will get it back LOL. Glad to hear that the rats are are all fine, a relief for Cait! Hope you can find a PT near you and that you can get it covered!! 45 mins is a long way to go for PT, especially if you have to do it weekly!

Nancy - Spotted your layouts this morning and I need to get some commenting done on them. The one with the dancing egret looks amazing, what awesome photos! DH and I were sitting on the upper deck in the front of our house the other day and a large bird landed on a snag of a tree near us. At first we could not figure out what kind of a bird it was, but after looking for some time we figured it out to be an Osprey. We don't usually see Osprey around us, they are more likely to be around the lake where they nest on top of the boom sticks, it was a big one and so beautiful!! I will see if there are any interesting birds on our hike/walk today and get some photos if I can. Hoping that the rain goes away for you and you get to finally enjoy some summer like weather soon!! Sounds like it is for sure that Chara has a broken jaw!! Ouch!! guess he will be done and won't be able to enjoy the win so much if they do get the cup. Poor guy!!

So I guess I better get my backpack ready and get my lunch made too. I hope you all have a wonderful Wednesday!

Thunder storm was in progress when I got up and lots of water in the yard. Now though the sun is out. Yesterday's Mexican restaurant is in a new location and was very nice. I even found something appropriate to eat that was good. In the meeting I was wondering why I didn't have something planned for this month's afternoon session when I was reminded that I'd gotten someone else to do a presentation. How nice for me to only have to plan my user group. Then we're off until September. Now I've got a proof copy of the Bulletin with my article that I have to review.

Chris, I often realize late in the day that I haven't even thought of let alone done something I meant to do. Hope writing them down will help you remember and do. If your mother is in enough pain to see the doctor, she isn't able to feel normal in other ways, like putting up with your dad. Your best bet with her is to have her deal with the pain which it seems she's doing.

Nancy, hope it really does warm up for you today. Sorry you have to wait for the hockey, I keep checking for when the next game is myself. I have no interest in the NBA playoffs (now that the Cavs are a sorry team) and the Indians have been doing so poorly that watching (which we still do) isn't as much fun, except last night's win was nice. I can just imagine how much Luther wanted to play with the bunnies!

Trudy, hope that gorgeous new painting sells in the gallery (even though you'd like it back.) And you are so right not to undervalue yourself in the prices. That's always been a conflict for me as it seems art should be affordable, but an artist has to get paid. Hope you enjoy today's hike which sounds a bit different.

Felis, just reading your comment about hearing the crickets felt so nice. Like Nancy, I haven't heard any yet but then it just hasn't been very warm here. Isn't it annoying when you can't find a scrap item you KNOW you have? I think we all do that sometime.

Kay, your weather gets so extreme! Between heat, wind, and cold you have it all except feeling warm yourself. Hope you warm up soon.

Popping in late today. Been on the run most of the day. Got one LO done with an Oldies but Goodies kit from Manu... and have another one half done. Had to quit as it was looking like it might rain [it is in the forecast for the next 2 days]. Had to get my library books back as they were due today - and before the rain arrived - dropped off mail at the Post Office. Made a mad dash over to the bread store; got gas [I was down to a quarter tank]; over to the veggie market & Dollar Store; stopped at Sam's Club; over to the grocery store; grabbed a take-out burger for lunch; then finally stopped and picked up mail. It was WARM... got up to 76 and the rain held off. Had storm clouds but no rain fell. The sun came out after I got home but it is clouding up again. Just finished carrying out the trash and recycling and am waiting until after 5PM to set it out on the curbside for pick-up tomorrow. We get a warning if we put it out too early on Wednesdays.

Yeah, our weather has been a bit crazy - but am loving the rain as we have been in a drought for the past 9-10 years. So neat to finally be getting enough rain. I am feeling much warmer.. maybe it is because I was out running around most of the day.

Chris, making a list of chores/items to do as you walk through the house is a great idea. It is so easy to forget things when you get busy with something else. Glad the rats got a clean bill of health from the Vet!

Trudy, I meant to say how much I love the latest painting!!! Wow... the colors and movement on it fantastic. Just remember - you need to value your work... so price it accordingly.

Jean, glad the Mexican place had good food. LOL over you forgetting that you had someone tagged for the presentation.

oooooohhhh... think I just hear some thunder so better post this quick - just in case. CYl

Good morning, girls!
I finished one of the sea pages with my sis photos, but I'm considering did I have to post it now or for the first day of summer?! Just a regular day. Nothing special going on.

Chris, oh thank goodness that all with the rats is fine! Yes I know exactly what you mean about zero-gravity day. Nice decision to make your space suit (To Do List) ! Now look straight into the reward (pizza diner) and go step by task, girl!

Nancy, your baby Robins are adorable! Always fun to watch the new life, they learn so fast! Oh, I loved lightning bugs, but I'm not see them around from ages. In my childhood I remember big clouds of them playing at my grandmas garden, and all the kids laugh and jump. Hmm, I guess they are in dangers now as the bees too?! This show Songland sounds awesome! I'm a massive fan of Maroon 5 and like The Black Eyed Peas too, but my prefers are for Fergie.

Trudy, this trail sounds lovely and very beautiful! Bet that photos will be great, if weather cooperate! Art is expensive, because is for connoisseurs. Don't underprise work, this will be offensive to your talent! But if you wondering because wants to be more competitive, you can make small research to the prices in your category in different galleries, does not hurt ;) .

Jean, I hope it will be interesting and helpful for you to have guest presenter on your session! What happens with this presentation that you had to reschedule because of your admission to the hospital? I thought next date is in Summer?

Kay, sounds as a productive day!

Hmm, I saw 3 of you online so: Good night and sleep well, to you! :) It's always kind of strange that here my day start, and you will dream something nice now! I'm little bit jealous and even don't have coffee emoji for this post. OK then :music: Sweet dreams!
