Its here!!!!!!!!!!!! in 26 hours I am going to have an 8th grade graduate!! I am way to young to have a HS kid and a Middle school kid. WTH happened? How did time go so fast??? Crazy, right???

I am doing better (I think!)- physically I am 100% shot- the running all month is killing me. Just exhausted/pain/etc. But mentally- better- now that I know Scott is graduating/no summer school. We met with the school Social Worker who is leading the child study team yesterday. We still have a few more steps to go through before we can meet for the Eligibility Mtg, but he said that he "can't say officially" but he sees no reason why Scott would not get classified. He says he has several different ways to approach the classification and unless someone can convince him that the 504 Plan (that is what he currently has) will work, then he feels pretty confident that he'll get the IEP. Obviously the 504 hasn't worked in the last 3 years. SO by the end of July we should have an answer and then we'll have everything ready to go before Sept and HS.

I wish that all of the 8th grade drags go on to very happy, safe and successful futures.
I want to be able to keep up with everything I need to do today.
I wish that my house would clean itself and the groceries would buy themselves so I could take a nap!

Linda W- that sounds like a fun day with your SDD. Yes, ITA- Cameran needs a bud! Or you will end up pulling every last heai out of your head by the end of the summer. LOL
Thanks for the mfr suggestion for the meds- I keep forgetting about that. We had such a hard time trying that for Gary's insulin pump supplies and blood test strips, I think I have blocked that idea out. But since he is on Medicare/permanently disabled, he might have a good shot.

Trudy- I might have to come and visit you- it would be cheaper to fly to Canada get the meds and visit with you then stay home and pay out of pocket!hahahh!
I don't understand why we don't have universal coverage either. The past few years have been hell with insurance for us.

Clara- I am so sorry we all missed your b-day inthe morning- but we got ya at least before you went to bed!

I am so happy for you and him!! What a relief for ya Chris!!! ...hhhhmmmmm I think this calls for an adult celebration....slipping bottle under table to Chris.......Don't mind us...we don't have anything!!!!!

This looks like a start to some better times....FINGERS AND TOES are crossed for the IEP!!! Oh and if you go to see Trudy...wait for me to get up to you, and I will go with you!!! I NEED A ROAD TRIP!!!

Trudy.....Awesome about the new bed....we keep saying we will get us a King size one day, but it never happens....we bought the bedroom suit we have before we got married, and I still just love it!!! If we buy new, it would be the guest furniture...I DON"T WANT ANYONE TO MESS IT UP!!! I have taken such good care of it. But, with our ages...a bigger bed does sound good!!

Laurie...your posts sound like you are running through the house while you type!! HAHA!! You are one busy lady!!! Sorry work was so stressful...but you do such a good thing (((HUGS)))

Clara...yes I am glad Chris caught your post on FB and we did not miss your birthday missy!!! WHY do we not have this on the calendar??? Buhahahah about the IV's......we were just talking about that not too long ago!!! When I very first came to the O....Clara was talking about her and Derek giving each Other IV's after a night out partying!!! Let me go find that thread!!

Okay...we are going swimming today.....after lunch we are all going to Sharon's to get the in the pool!! YAY...Geoff built a new deck around the pool (sorry if I am repeating myself...I am a little touched)....so it's really nice!! It's been so hot and muggy...the humidity has been HORRIBLE!!! Clara....pull out your tank tops and shorts, and deoderant!!! You will see when you get to our side of the country!!

Better run...need to dry my hair and fix lunch for Mike....

hey ladies, quick stop in to say hi. I'm going to do my bestest to be more active here :) I really just have to get myself a sched... I'm on a 'few' CTs and lovin it... but it's keeping me pretty busy lol. I need to sit down and get a plan as to what pages I NEED done and then I can work on an album, not just pages, KWIM?

I miss you gals!!
 
Hey everyone...late checking in here again today :nono: local nursery had a huge sale so of course I had to head out to it. But alas all I bought was some weed and feed for the lawn that my DH wanted me to pick up. I am sure that when DH comes home and finds out that I did not buy out the place he will think that I have lost my mind :loco: Just have to watch the pennies because we spent so much on our new bed and bedding, but it is oooohhh so nice :thumb:
Chris and Nana...anytime you want to hop on a plane and come visit me would be alright with me, I am sure we could make our own :party: , my hubby makes some of the best tasting wine you will ever have and there is no shortage of it at our house. :partywine:
Andrea and Laurie... you could join us, the more the merrier, couldn't you just see us out on the deck wine glasses in hand :blah::blah: :gossip: :gossip: and my husband would be :help: LOL

hi guys. i got a little overwhelmed today and my mom came down and helped me out. she rocks. i got things organized enough to take pictures and will be putting pictures on craigslist of my car and of my house before i go to bed tonight.

so a couple of things really quick since i haven't been doing any personals...

chris - i am so excited that Scott will be graduating and that you are getting him set up in a better program. what will this program do for him? I really hope it comes together. I am so glad you are feeling like you might be on the up swing of feeling like crap.

Linda - sounds like you will have your hands full this summer but I know you love it.

I'll try to throw in a few extra personals tomorrow.
