I have good news to share- so far, Scott has passed 3 of his 4 academic classes. We are just waiting to see how he does in Social Studies. *fingers crossed that he does good and passes that as well*

I had a nice day yesterday- gorgeous weather, so I was able to get all of my work done int he morning, then yard work in the afternoon, and a quick scrap time before the run-around of after school/dinner etc.

Morning all... Woo Hoo Chris :thumb: So happy that your Scott is so far passing his classes, I will also keep my fingers and toes crossed that he makes it!! Sounds like you had a productive day yesterday, as for Father's Day, that is always a hard one. We are planning to head to DH's parents place on the Lake and have a BBQ and then sit around the Fire pit and have some beverages and a good visit with the whole family. I lost both of my parents a while ago so no Father's Day plans for my side of the family :cry: Perhaps a visit to the graveside would be in order. On a happier note, it is my Grandson's 2nd birthday today and can't wait to talk to him on Skype :love: Hope everyone has a great Wednesday :wave:

I just wanted to say hi before the movers get here. Can you believe today is already the day? It seems like time has flown by since I came in here freaking out about the move and now it is the day that strangers are coming into my house and putting all of my stuff into boxes and I am actually ready for it and not stressed out about it. Amazing. I even woke up early...thanks to a horrible sinus headache...and got breakfast. Now I think I should go get coffee. Mmmmmm. I think I need to get Addie dressed to take her to the neighbors. I think Derek is stressed because he couldn't sleep last night and was up until 3 when I made him turn off the tv finally. I'm hoping the computer doesn't get shut down today. That would be super sad. Anyway, I'd better get. I just wanted to hop in real quick.

Chris - I am sooooooo glad you are feeling better. I hate it when you feel poopy. It makes me sad. That is really exciting that Scott is passing and I'll hope and pray for SS. Maybe his teacher will grow a heart and pass him or maybe Scott will just do well and it won't matter if the teacher has a heart or not. Big squeezy hugs for you.

Trudy - we crossed paths. I'm sorry Father's Day is hard for you. I hope it is still an enjoyable day for you at the lake. Isn't skype the greatest? I know it isn't the same as holding someone in your arms but it is definitely better than not seeing them at all. Sending squeezy hugs to you too from our rainy coast.
 
Oh thanks Clara :kiss: you have made me feel better already! Hope your packing day goes smoothly, it is a stressful time, especially when you have kids to deal with too!! I have moved numerous times so I think I know what you are going through :hug: Hope your computer stays connected so you can let us know how things are going. Thinking of you all day today.
 
hey did you miss me? my internet was funky- think it was the router- bought a new one, but didn't unwrap it, and unplugged the old one and plugged it back in and it works- I so missed the net!! Back tomorrow or maybe later- have to install a scanner and scan vital paper for ds in DC!
