*puts heads between my knees*
Deep breaths--- yes, it is *still* June.
How the heck did that happen? I wouldn't say that May went by fast, but it went by "weird." At least it "went." LOL

I finally feel like today is going to be a semi-normal day. I am picking up groceries and then popping into the pharmacy next door, to "pick up an order." (ETA: Got an automated call saying I had an order ready. That is all I know). The only thing it can be is the test kits that I ordered through my insurance company but they had called and said there were none available and they don't hold the kits when they are in stock? *shrugs* If they are there, they are there. If not... we have some that I picked up for Gary. Then I am going to test and if all is good, I am cleaning for my neighbor. He won't be home so it's not a problem but I want to be safe.
Even though it was hot yesterday, I spent another couple of hours outside. I weeded along the hedges between my house and my neighbors and transplanted some ferns from one area next to the house to under the hedges. They must have seen me out there b/c they texted Gary how much they appreciated that I was making our yards look pretty in the sweltering heat. Sure it was 91* and probably 90% humidity but it doesn't bother me. I asked Scott how he was holding up out here and he said he was dealing with it, but knew that I was loving it. Yes, I was. *grin*
I texted him to say hi and see how things were going, and it was nice-- he called me back and we had a good talk. He was hiking at one of his parks so had some time. I think he is coming home tomorrow night or Friday morning as long as I am still negative. I am so grateful that his friends let him crash there, they all had Covid during the initial Omicron/Christmas wave so it was a safe place for all of them. They even had a small surprise b-day party for him one night
(I am happy he is happy but dang I miss him here. I am going to have to get used to this, aren't I?)
Not so good news from my dad. I am going to text him in a little while for more info. He lost all of the hearing in one of his ears (tinnitus in one ear and hearing loss in the other --not sure which ear was affected). He went to his ear dr and there is nothing physically wrong- no earwax/infection that is causing it. That sucks. The hearing loss in one, (maybe both, I am not sure) can't be helped with hearing aids so he is very upset according to my mom.
I'll finish up my ramblings with some good news- Sarah and her baby are doing great and will be coming home today <3
