uh oh, I am running a bit behind schedule. I woke up in the middle of the night, took me a long time to get back to sleep, and it got so *cold* overnight. Not to mention I was pinned in place with the Sleeping Bag of Bricks (aka Jaida) on one side and Catzilla the Smotherer on the other. :twitch:

I don't know if I think I got a lot done yesterday or just made more of a mess. Probably both. Story of my life :pound: I ended up not painting the wall (yet) as I am trying yet one more cleaning option first. Baking soda, hydrogen peroxide and dish soap, let that dry and wipe down the next day. ATM, I have white streaks on the plum walls, as it dries- a very attractive look. *wink*
Gary got these bar stools curbside years ago, and they used to be in the basement, unless we had company but he decided that it would be better to keep them upstairs al of the time, so I painted the legs on them and will look into recovering the fabric someday. Repainted the switch plates, and all of that.

Today I have to clean a bit here. Brendan's mom is dropping off his tuxedo tonight and won't be around for pictures tomorrow so is going to take some here. Cleaning at my neighbors in the afternoon. Wanting to do nothing but get my hands in the dirt...

Same old same old!

Hope that all of you have terrific days!

poor Cait just came in, the day before Prom and she is either having really bad allergy issues or a cold- totally lost her voice.

Nancy- wasn't yesterday a perfect day? Hot in the sun, not in the shade. I could have been outside forever!
It seems so crazy to me that the Stanley Cup is being played in June but the longer the hockey season the happier you must be :)

I totally get where you are coming from re: graduation ceremony, but after yesterday, I want to close this door as fast as I can. Cait's sneakers were stolen from a locked gym locker, school "can't do anything about it." She left a note on her locker asking that they be returned, no questions asked, and got a very profanity laden note back. School still "can't do anything about it." Gary called yesterday (after we made sure that her last batch of Dr's notes/absences were excused!!!) and said that he was going to file a police report if they didn't look into this. Since the kids were in Elem school, this district has given me nothing but stress. So I am done.

KAT!!!!! Do NOT mention the C-Holiday Word!! SHHHH!!!!!!!!!
poor haddie, I hope that they injections help her. I am worried about Jaida's knees, she is having a tough time sitting down on occasion. The things we do for our fur-babies.
How is Stan doing, all recovered?
our farmer's market opens today!! So excited!

rae- how sweet that the dogs missed each other and had fun swimming and playing!
Good luck with the diet. Sugar is hidden everywhere. Did I ever suggest turmeric supps for inflammation? My LLMD has us on that and it seems to help. Have you looked into the glycemic index? Gary is supposed to follow that for maintaining blood sugar levels but doesn't becasue-- cookies, dontcha know ;)

Bus stop time!

good morning - just got back from walking Luther. He is in heaven as there are rabbits and squirrels every where and boy does he love to stalk them LOL. Had a lovely dinner with our friends celebrating their birthdays which are just days apart. It was good food and good times. Came home and got more scrapping done. Today is more of the same.

Chris poor Cait - losing your voice is the pits! But thank goodness at least she is not too sick to go to the prom! I can't wait to see photos! have fun in dirt again today! I hear you about being done with your district. Shame they won't look into the stolen shoes!

Kat poor Haddie - sure hope the shots help. And yes we will do anything for our pets! I am so surprised that the Warriors made such a come back to win the series.

Rae I wish the River near us was cleaner as Luther really does love water. It is really fun watching them play in the water! Have a great day!

Good morning, ladies. Another sunny day before the rain comes tomorrow. I'll get out at lunchtime with the dogs and then after work today we'll be taking some things over to Bailey's first apartment. It happened really fast. The Ministry found her a basement apartment so she is out of the group home. She is doing well (a few slips here and there but mostly good), taking her meds, going to counselling, is going to graduate this month and is still on the methadone and off the drugs (mostly). We are so proud of her and she is trying so hard. We have a ton of stuff for her new place so she should be pretty well set up between what we all have for her. Last night was her first night alone in her place and today we'll all go over to help set her up and have dinner together. Unfortunately it is 30-40 minutes away so I can't just pop over on the spur of the moment during the week but I'll do my best to get over that at least once a week to help out and visit. What a scary time for her but exciting too.

Chris - don't overdo it cleaning today. Hope Cait recovers quickly, poor girl.

Nancy - rabbits and squirrels...Taz would be in heaven too. Sounds like a lovely evening, friends, dinner and then some scrapping, sounds good to me.

Hi Trudy.....I think I beat you here today LOL.

Gotta go, got a busy day ahead of me. Have a wonderful day, everyone!

Good morning y'all. I am sitting here bemoaning the lack of organization of my digiscrapping supplies. I've been digiscrapping for 10 years. I suspect I will never use even a fraction of what I have, yet it is so hard for me to delete anything.

Chris, good luck with the cleaning. I hate cleaning.

Nancy, if my dogs ran into a bunch of squirrels and rabbits on a walk I might not make it home alive. lol (Actually, I think the gentle leaders would prevent my death but not positive. :O) )

Rae, sounds like good news regarding Bailey. I hope things continue to go well.
