Happy, happy Wednesday! It is another gorgeous day here. Yesterday was beautiful too. I love it!

My parents have been getting along lately which is "unnerving." hahaha!!! They went to the 4th of July BBQ that the lake association holds, and then the fireworks together. They worked on the deck/screen room without bickering. And when they were up here for breakfast, no issues there either. There must be some strange but good juju going on in the universe. My kids are good, both in very good places with themselves and their schools and jobs. I even am not having bad effects from Tindamax this week.:thumb:

It isn't definite but Scott might be getting another promotion at work. One of the managers/growers is leaving the garden center and he looks to be the one to fill that position. The other manager wants him for it and the owner is running numbers with the accountant to see what kind of a raise he might get. This might mean that he will only take a few courses this Fall Semester but to get the experience under his belt will be worth it, IMO. That is all up to him, but it could be the best of both worlds- education and experience.

I worked out in the backyard, clearing out some more of the area that Scott had been working on behind the fire pit area. He has a huge bucket of different kinds of coleus and some other neat leafy plant and I ringed it with rocks. One nice thing about living in an area with lots of rocks is that they make great free edging. :)

About an hour after I came in, an enormous branch crashed down, feet from where I was working and where Cait and Jaida had been playing. It knocked over and dented the metal bench Scott just bought. We were lucky to not be out there when it fell. Looks like there is one more branch that might fall too. The weird thing about the incident is that there was no wind whatsoever and no warning creaking noises.

Today I am cleaning and the 5 of us are going to get ice cream for dinner. Well, frozen yogurt. The place around the corner had $5 cups. Fill it is much as you want with as many topping as you want for that price. It is one of the places where it usually is priced by weight and frozen yogurt is heavier than it looks :D

We'll be able to sit outside and look at the lake. very relaxing.

I'd better go, I have a bunch of things I need to do and I am distracting myself left and right so far.

xoxoxo!

Nancy- that really stinks about the sciatica still hurting so much. I hope that the new meds work for you. I know how much you like being out and about, especially with Luther.

Rae- must feel good to get that gardening taken care of. I never watched pretty Little Liars, but if you watched 7 seasons it must be good.
Thanks for liking the latest rattie page. Those girls are so cute. Clover's tumor is getting bigger every day. I worry. :( Actually, I am worrying more than Caitlyn is but she suggested I do a bit of research and I will feel better.

Flexibility- If you have Amazon Prime, there are yoga for back pain and flexibilty videos that you can stream. I have a Roku box in the bedroom and you can access Amazon through that. I have done two days in a row and will do another session this morning.

Hi, Jean!! We have missed you. At one point, I was worried that you had been gone from here for a while, but I saw you posting LOs so that was a relief. :)
Thanks for the b-day wishes!

Love to all!
If Bailey has any questions about rats, feel free to ask!

Good morning, ladies. I have had a busy morning and it's not even 9:30 yet LOL. Got laundry in, took Taz to daycare, did some digi work, made a keto video and took out the garbage. Now I need another coffee and get to work.

It's another gorgeous day here but the downside to that is the bright morning that starts around 4:45 which is when Taz has decided he wants to get up, so he kept pestering me until I got up at 5:00 and then I tried to go back to bed but he kept tapping on the door and then finally at 6:30 he barked at me to get up LOL. Silly dog. Good thing I love him so much or I'd strangle him LOL. He hears the birds and sees the sunlight coming through the blinds and just wants to get out there.

I tried a new topping on my burger last night. I had some artichoke and parmesan dip that I'd been enjoying for a few nights with pepper strips but after 2 nights I'd had enough of that snack so tried to think of what else I could do with the dip (that was also keto friendly). So I BBQ'd my burger and put it on top instead of cheese. I loved it. I still have a bit left over so am going to see if I can find another way to use the dip. Any suggestions?

Chris - how scary about the falling branch. Good thing no one got hurt but sucks that it dented the bench. Ice cream for dinner for $5...wow...what a good price. We have an ice cream place close by and it's $20 a person. It's really good but so expensive. I haven't found a low carb ice cream that is low enough carbs to suit me so at some point I may buy an ice cream maker and make my own.

Nancy - hope you are feeling better, are you?

Trudy - must be enjoying her family visit.

I'm getting work now, after I grab another coffee. Have a great day, everyone.

Good afternoon! Have just a minute before DH wants to go for various errands. Posted my week 26 and am working on week 25. So scrapping coming back? Genealogy is at the front of the line though. As to "getting real" - we'll see. :biggrin1:

Chris, sounds so good to hear positive things in your life! Way to go. Scary about that branch. Hope you can do something about the other one.

Rae, oh boy, if Taz is getting you up so early it must be weird. Your keto life sounds so impressive, but no ideas from me on the dip.

Nancy, Trudy, Sharon, and all, hope it's a lovely day.
