Hump Day to all of you who work M-F! And I guess if you are like most of us here and you work Sun-Sat...its also Hump Day. It just doesn't mean as much ;)

We survived the "errand field trip" yesterday. Didn't think we were for a bit, but we did. Everything went smoothly until we went to Lab Corp to get Scott's blood drawn, New health insurance HMO, and you have to call prior to the draw to get pre-approval. THis was news to me. So we tried to call while in the waiting room, but after a while on hold we said forget it, we'll try again another day. I have never had to do that before. Is it weird, or is it just me?Uh oh- kitty is back!
 
Why she loves me so much in the mornings.... why???? I have 10 min's before I have to get in the shower...please let me post to my O-Fam Heather-Kitty!

Clara- oh you poor thing- being sick now is the last thing you need. Yay for moms. Mom's rock!!!! Make sure you take good care of yourself. Stress really does take a huge toll on your body and mind. (Believe me, I know if what I speak LOLOL!))

Trudy- boo hiss to your neighbor. As for reporting him, that is tough. Here, I would have to report, since we all have wells. If one person waters during a drought to that extent, it could put all of the close wells at risk for issues. If it is town water..... I think for the sake of peace, I'd let it slide. Unless he really is going to ruin your lawn, but I still think I would try to approach him nicely first. This is so not helpful ....:D
 
Good Morning Ladies!!! Yes...Hump Day....Since I started the babysitting full time, I am excited about HUMP DAY...FRIDAY...and WEEKENDS!!

Is it just me or has this been a really BLAH week?? I don't feel like doing anything....pushing myself....Maybe it was just too big of a weekend!!

Any plans coming up this weekend?? We are going to take the boys on the 4 wheeler on Saturday in the country....DH's new toy.....Jesse is only three but he loves them....he is going to be a dare devil anyway...he has the biggest battery powered 4 wheeler they make and you should see him ride that thing....He can spin it around..whatever....three years old!!
Well, other than that, no other plans...Sunday..I plan to spend very quietly....I need a quiet day SOMETIME!!!

Better run...kids will be here in just a few...I will be back in a bit...
 
Sally- I am so excited about your Etsy shop- you are so creative! Love how you are planning on combining your O-Designs with quilt designs.
Sunburn- oh yeah, people can get bad sunburn in NJ too. Not that you;d know from looking at me, but I am 100% Italian and have "good" Mediterranean skin. By good I mean oily (no wrinkles!) and tans easily and rarely burns. Even with using SPF 30 or 45 I am very tan ATM. I know, its so bad for you, but I love how I look all tan.
How is your eye? I know I have posted this before, but in case you forgot the Faery Remedy for pink eye.... brew up a cup of Chamomile tea. Let it cool a bit, so it is warm not hot. Dip a cotton ball into the tea, and wipe the eye from the corner out. You can do this right before you put inthe drops/ointment and as needed. Helps the itching too.

The last week or so has been rough on me too- not sure if it just the stress of life, being busy, not feeling great or what. But yes, Hump Day!! Its all good! I think that the heat is getting to a lot of people up here, probably you too. And having the wedding pre and post stress will wipe you out. Hope that you have a fab day- sounds like a fun weekend too!

Linda S- good luck with all of the baseball stuff!

Clara is gonna be an EST girl! And we will RULE the world together muhahahahahahha!!!!
 
Good morning all. Quick drive by here. I'm taking my former boss to breakfast today...she will be 60 tomorrow and she's taking a day of vacation so I have to slip it in today. She is a fantastic lady so I'm excited to have breakfast with her.

Won our baseball game last night...so it's on to State. We play Saturday night. The kids are even getting excited. Last night when my nephew got up to bat, Sydney said to everyone in the stands, "That's my cousin." And Shaun left the baseball game saying "We are the champions."

We're a little nuts here. But...guess what...nothing tonight. No gymnastics, no baseball, no nothing! I'll be back! In the meantime, everyone have a great day!

Sally.....first...send your crew to MY HOUSE!!! That's some fast cleaning up!!! I am sorry about your eye ((HUGS))...I get that mess about once per year!!! Maybe the Faery Treatment is what we need!! There is an over the counter product I have bought before...have to ask the pharmacist for it...that works pretty well if it has not gotten really bad. The Etsy Meeting sounds like fun....if you are going to be doing craft boothes...are you going on the road?? YOU NEED TO COME HERE!! IT"S HUGE AROUND HERE!! There are two really big ones around Novmeber...Everyone, and I mean everyone goes....and then on Labor Day weekend we have Olde Salem Days...they close off a few streets and there are vendors everywhere and usually about 20K people..elbow to elbow!!! You know you could stay with me!! "JUST SAYIN"

Trudy..........I say report him!!! Sounds like he needs an authority member to remind him that their are restrictions!! A few years ago when we were on restrictions, watering the lawn was not allowed at all, or washing cars...None of that stuff!! Don't mind me...if you don't tell on him, that is understandable...he is your neighbor and you do have to live next to him!! Hope you have a better day today!!

Chris....Okay...seriously...calling before you can draw blood??? never heard of that one!!! BAH!!!!!!!!! to them!!!! Hey I am not Italian, but I have very oily skin too...guess that is why my wrinkles are very minimal..that along with the fact I have never been a sun worshiper.....reminds of a couple of weeks ago, I had to take something to Mike on the job and a couple of his co workers were teasing him that his wife was TOO young for him....He said told them I was 46..and they didn't believe him...:kiss: to those guys!!!

LindaS...have a very nice breakfast...so sweet of you to take her out!!! and WOOOOOOOOT!! on winning the game...good luck to them in the state games!!! How cute of the kids...that made me smile! :D and WOW!! enjoy the FREE evening!!! I remember the feeling of "not having any games, practices or events" for one night!!

Okay girlies...I am off to do a little cooking....any suggestions??? I have potatoes cooking already for some potatoe salad...but I need to fill the fridge so I don't have to cook until next week!!!
 
I just love you girlies!! It's soooo fun to come in here in the morning!!

Today I'm dragging...just need to go and eat my B12 so I can get things going! I have sooo many projects in piles here that I need to just finish! My eyes are doing okay, but I'm totally going to do the FaeryPrescription, too!!

I'm adopting Nike's slogan today and I'm just doing it...instead of sitting here thinking about it all today...so wish me luck!! I have my faves music on, I've popped into my fave home here at the O, updated my fb, checked hootsuite, emailed an etsy link for another blog, and now it is time!!! I'm off to sew all day, until dinner...then it's Toy Story 3 for this fam!!! yay!! :)

Chris, that's soooo crazy about the lab. But it doesn't surprise me. We've been having to do a lot of crazy stuff like that, especially with our pharmacy to get things approved. By the way, I've raised $66 for Lyme awareness from selling stamps!! I need to hop over to your blog and get the address to send the check!! yipeeeeee!! (and I need a link to it on my blog!!) hugs, babe!

ohhhh CLARA!!! I can't tell you how many times my mom has bailed me out when I've lost it because of stress. Morning my extended family:wave: Thanks for all of your kind words and helpful suggestions about my neighbor :rant: I think that I will let it slide this time...my DH and I discussed it and he is not worth getting all worked up about. Also we have been seriously thinking of turning the suite in our house into a B & B so we don't want to piss off anyone and have them complain about us before we get approval from the municipality. But I am thinking that some privacy screens will have to be installed on the deck before too long.

Chris - I have never heard of having to call before drawing blood???:noidea: Glad your shopping went well! I am going to have to try your tea remedy for sure :thumb:

Nana Linda - I need you here to put my bad neighbor in his place :boxing: :yell:

As for me I am headed to the hairdresser's today, time to get rid of the grey hair again (opps did I say that out loud??) Finally I get to pick up my camera from the repair shop on Thursday ... horray it has been gone forever and I feel lost without it. Not looking forward to the bill though :pout:

evening all - Chris you would be so proud of me- I left my computer at work and have tomorrow off- my photo DVD's will be delivered- I had to pay for overnight delivery when they have to have a person there to sign- so tomorrow afternoon- I plan to clean - rest, play, scrap- maybe sun- we shall see!
