Daily Ooo's: Wednesday, July 11

*grumble grumble*

So I had a fab morning yesterday, the day looked like it was going to be a great one. And I would have if it weren't for cranky family members. :-? Cait and I went to clean, and by the time we came back, Gary was all in a cranky mood. Then we went to the like- she was fine for an hour and then all she wanted to do was sit and text while her friend was begging her to go and swim. After 2 hours, she wanted to go home. I could have packed up, but I was aggravated so i told her no, we were not leaving until 3pm. I can be stubborn. Then back home to a cranky hubby and a bored son. He had to watch Dances with Wolves for a History Summer project and Gary had him watch it all by himself- for three hours. Poor kids was ready to pull his hair out by the end.

Today I am getting outta her alone! I am meeting my BFF for coffee then running all of the errands on my way home. She lives about 50 minutes away, and I try to do all of my shopping down and then back up the highway when I go to see her.

Hey O people!

We had temps in the 90's yesterday. What a nice change!

Life has been busy. Lots going on and lots to do like everyone else.

Chris- sorry you had a bad day with cranky family makes it had to stay positive and enjoy things. Hope that all feel better today and hope you enjoy that coffee time with your friend! That is a great way to spend your morning for sure!! ENJOY!!

it's actually COLD here right now. woke up to 54 degrees. well, i'm using the term "woke up" loosely. i fell asleep in my recliner at 9 p.m. last night. woke up at 10 p.m. went up to bed, where i lay for 2 hours, wide awake listening to my husband snore and plotting revenge fantasies against my former daughter. so. i got up, went back to my recliner, read until 1 a.m.. woke up at 5 a.m. to the sound of my cat coughing up hairballs. got up, cleaned up the hairballs and puke, went back to "sleep" for 2 hours. AHHH!!! i feel so alert and RESTED!! :twitch: :madgrin: i have the feeling that today is the sort of day when i should walk around with a sign pinned on me saying: TALK TO ME AT YOUR OWN RISK. well, i should be in the proper company for most of the day. going to the cemetery to weedwhack. today is the 3rd anniversary of my mom's passing.

well, i finished my AnnaPosts in the Forum, posted my page, and now i'm off to shower and head out with my weedwhacker. everyone have a beautiful day!

Morning ladies... Nice quiet morning, not sure why but I don't even hear any birds this morning?? Is that a bad thing? A beautiful day yesterday, got my morning walk in and then some watering a load of :washing: and got the floors cleaned. Actually scrapped a couple of pages, but nothing that I could put in the gallery yet. Spent a lot of time on the phone hone: with my daughter, then my son, then my sister. I am all talked out!

Chris - Have a great visit with your friend and leave all the grumpies behind for the day! You deserve the time to yourself!!

Donna - Nice that you are getting a bit of a break from the heat!! Hope your day is wonderful!

Phylis -Weedwacking... A great way to take out your frustrations ! Plus you pretty up your mom's resting place too!! What the heck is up with us women that we seem to be sleep deprived at an age when we need sleep the most?? Like we don't go through enough just being female, now we have to deal with sleep deprivation too?? Do some whacking for me too would ya!! Hope you sleep better tonight! :hug:
