Holy cow, I am *tired!* I mean like I should go back to bed and sleep for days tired. W woke me up around 2 am to go outside and I literally could not move. Poor girl kept whining at me and all I could do was mumble to her, gimme a minute...
I know you are all wondering (heh ) "What made Faery so tired yesterday? All she had to do was pick up food and steam clean two tiny rooms." You would be correct in assuming that is all I had to do. That catch was that I had to do it with no hot water. We have hot water baseboard heating and the heating runs off of the furnace. We have very, *very* hard water (we live in an area that was known for iron mining) so Gary has to clean the build-up off of the coils every few months. As he and Scott were doing that (have to turn off the heat and hot water to do so), the whole system got clogged up. There has been enough circulation of water to keep the heat on but not to run hot water. So no showers for us, no washing of dishes. Now we are dealing with the lovely possibility that if the different descaling solution doesn't fix it, we will need to get a new furnace. :faint2:
The grocery order was interesting since I couldn't edit the original cart so I ended up with three loaves of bread and 2 gals of milk but heck, at least I got food! The carpets look great and hopefully, no one will have accidents in the next few hours.
We ended the night playing MadLibs together. Scott was hysterical, I got him a Pirate MadLib book and the first story was "How to Talk Like a Pirate" so he did. :yarpirate
Today we have to wait for the descaler to arrive and hope that it works and then race to get into the shower. We have baby wipes but that just isn't the same. Worst case scenario we can boil water like in the old days but no way will Cait and I be able to wash our hair. Good thing we have nowhere to go. (Again.) haha!!
My brain is fuzzy so I am going to get more coffee, anyone like a cup? :tea:
Hugs and HAGD!
