GooooOd mOrning, O-Fam!!

How are all of you today? I still feel crummy, physically and energy-wise, but I am sure that it will take time to get myself back to whatever is normal for me. But I know that I will get there. The weather was pretty warm here in the afternoon and it was like a tease of Spring. It is cold and windy again today but even a few hours of sun and warm-ish temps were a nice change.

I slogged my way through ShopRite and it is going to be a "fun" time ahead as they continue to do renovations. They keep changing where they are putting things. I write my list in order of the aisles but now I have no idea what that actually is. You know how people will build rooms in their imaginations to help them to remember? I do that with the supermarket. I imagine myself walking through the aisles with my list and I "look" for the items on my list. The days that I do that, I spend much less time doubling back to get something that I missed the first time around.

Clover did very well at the vets, although she needed one tiny stitch removed and she was not having it. Squirmy little bugger! Everyone that I saw asked how we were doing and that they were sorry to hear about Heather. Means a lot to me, even if it is something that they say to everyone.

I am off to clean today so that is a good reset on my mind, not having to think about anything for a few hours.
I started a scrap page yesterday and I would love to be able to work on that this afternoon. It is an AJ page so maybe that will help me get a bit of scrap therapy.

Still no sign of my neighbor's cat and it has been over a week now. he is really hoping that someone took him in when it was snowing because he doesn't know how he will be able to care for himself on his own. I keep focusing on all of the good stories of pets finding their way back after weeks and months. Maybe it will happen here.

Have a wonderful day, my friends!

Trudy- sorry to hear that you were stuck with more rain yesterday. are you going on a hike today? If you are, I hope that you stay dry!
How did you do at the pool?
Finding a quote-- That is what I did yesterday with scrapping. I scrolled through the Word Art section and saw something that caught my eye and went from there. It might take me days and days to finish it but I am trying. I am sorry that you are going through the same thing too. It really is the pits. But not as bad as having to clean your oven. PU!

Nancy- That must be frustrating to see the Devils play poorly when you know that they can and should do so much better.
How is Luther? I wish pets could talk and tell us what is going on. J was "off" yesterday too and I don't know if it is that she senses Kibs was gone (they got along great and snuggled together a lot) or if it is something more or maybe I am just projecting my sadness onto her. Darn it, Talk dogs, TALK!! LOL
Has Luther eaten anything different to make his allergies act up?

Rae- are we all going through a scrap-slump? Maybe it is the time of year. Hope that your page went together easily. Whatever you scrap, it is always gorgeous!
That is great that you are keeping up with the yoga! :high5: I haven't. I am giving myself this week to do nothing and next week (sooner if I am up to it) I am going to get my butt in gear.

Felis- how fun to play in the snow even if it only lasted a bit! I am thankfully able to do a lot of weird things like running around with the dogs or being ridiculous with the kids to make me laugh. It feels good, does it? Who cares what the neighbors think? :D
I have to go find Vicki's word art! That might be something for me to scrap about. Thanks for the tip!

Rae- I love Felis's idea of a phoenix bracelet. My mom got me an Alex and Ani one with that and I wear that when I need to remind myself that each time I feel knocked down, I will keep coming back stronger.

:pound: You are all making me LMBO about taking a "nap-like." I guess even the proximity of a nap really is a big deal for me.

Jean- this grey weather drags us all down a bit. That is too bad you weren't able to get a picture of the owl, but still so cool to see it. Thank you for remembering the Catzilla days with me too.

Trudy- 20 is way better than I could do! next time you will do more and then more. You got this!
Were you able to scrap a page with Mason's picture? He will make you smile!

hugs and love everyone!

I'm so backward today. Past few days I'm not enough strict in anything I have to do. And for a 'bonus' I wake up too late today. Everytime when I use Magnesium Oil I have a nightmares. Maybe it's not for me, but gives me continuous sleep, so I was give it another try. Today will be on rush, so better to go. :cof3:

Chris, don't rush my dear, left to the time to do its job. Be sad for now, and we are here for every stories present or past that you feels needs to share! Hope the cleaning go easy and really to can distract you!
If you found some time I think you have to tour the neighboring houses and ask for the cat, they could go very away. I'm sure she can care for herself. But I'm not so convinced that all people will be happy to met her. I am terrified for all nasty people which loves to hurt animals, but my outdoors doing OK. Most of the time :tsk: . Unfortunately freedom is part of the cats nature for these of them which are grown up outside, and strange but cats which are indoors from babies lose the need to be tramp?! However! You was mentioned that the owner don't go out much, so probably is so worried.
Vicki's word art is totally made for you, you'll see.

Trudy, swim 20 laps impress me, but you sounds like you aren't satisfied, so hope to have empty pool at Thursday too! This always sounds so cool like it's your personal pool! Oh, online grocery shopping would be such a relief for me! It's not something I like to do, especially because only the hypermarkets have pet products on deals, so we have to drive to the capitolia at least 2 times at month.

Jean, I saw your weekly pages and they are soo cool! Wow, you have so many amazing wildlife photos, that I'm surprised to hear for your uncertainty with the spotting scope. These days I feel like trying to catch every moment, actually distract me from living them completely (for this will be my this week page). The big dog just adore the snow, he is mine snowman, Tiny is not happy at all, we are reduced her walks and at some days go out only for few minutes just to make what is necessary ;) .
Rae and Nancy :hello: !

Have a successful day you all!

good morning - Trudy I apologize in advance but the game against the Bruins was terrible. My team lost 3-2 and again not only did my team have to play against a really good team but also against the refs and that cost my team a goal. The refs gave my player 4 min for the same penalty. After the game they apologized to say they made a mistake. A mistake really you caused a huge change in momentum in game and with the skill the Bruins have well you saw they lost the game. Not only that but there was a 13 min delay because the time keeper could not figure out the clock and the penalties counted up not down. And then they could not figure out which player to take out of the penalty box. It was a joke. This is the just another example of the refs taking away my teams hard work. Then at the end of the game Bruin pest Brad Marchand elbowed in the head my player and no penalty was called. It is so disappointing to see him do this as he is really a skilled player. But at the end of the day I watched the Ducks defeat the Rangers and that made me happy as my former Devil Adam Henrique is playing really well and scored. So today is recover from the game and I know it should not bother me that much but it does as I think sports should be fair. Not much in life is fair but sports really should be. Tonight I am going out with my girlfriends to a nice Italian restaurant. That should be fun. Last night's dinner was good Tuscan seasoned chicken with a lentil stew with carrots, kale and red onion. Yummy! Luther is much better today says my DH but I never thought there was any thing wrong but allergies to begin with. It should be colder today but sunny but no sun yet.

I will be back with personals but I am expecting a phone call.

I am back.
Chris enjoy the reset as you clean. I know what you mean about grocery stores and always changing, I had it bad as my store went from an A&P to an Acme and not only did food places change but also brands. I am still learning. Glad Clover did so well at the vet. It sure seems like you have an awesome place to take your pets.

Trudy sorry about the rant it was not against the Bruins against the refs. Wow 20 laps you go girl! Hope the rain has stopped and you get your hike in. I did see that the coast had a tsunami warning and I was thinking of you and Rae. So glad it not happen.

Felis I think a 30 year old playing in the snow is awesome. I am glad there is still a kid inside of you! The others were probably wishing they had a dog to play in the snow with. Have fun when you can!

Rae good for you scrapping and getting a page done. You need some me time. Hope the regular work went fast!

Jean I think grey weather is just horrible and especially when it last more than 2 days. I has now turned sunny here but much cooler only in the 40s. That is why I could never live in Washington or Oregon along their coast.

Have a great day all!

Good morning ladies... It isn't too bad out there today weather wise, but the dark clouds look to be moving in and the hike today is one that we have been on before and not a very scenic one, so I think that I will pass on the hiking today. I have a few things that I need to get done before I head off to my son's tomorrow evening. I am going to be watching the grands while our son and DIL are living it up in Vegas for a few days! I will get lots of walking in with their dog Storm, she is such a sweet dog, I just love her! Hoping that the bears are not still around their area as they have had lots of sightings over the winter. So today I am going to finish the page I started and I have some back room things to do here at the O. Need to do :washing: and get my suitcase out of the crawl space.

Chris - I can totally relate to your shopping woes! When they changed our store here from a Safeway to a SaveOn Foods the whole store got changed around and a lot of the brands that I regularly bought we no longer available :mmph: Not only that but I could no longer get all the AirMiles that I used to be able to rack up when I got my gorceries. BOTOH now I get SaveOn points which not only save me $'s on my groceries, but I can use them to book flights too, a better way than the AirMiles as I don't have to pay the tax when I book my flights. I have flown out to see Heather 3 times now with my points. So sometimes change is a good thing. Glad to hear that Clover did well at the Vets, they seem to be such an awesome group of people there! Hope that you get to finish your page today and that you get inspired with a special quote! Perhaps the weather will warm up again for you in the next day or so.

Felis - If the Magnesium Oil gives you nightmares I would stop using it! I hate it when I have nightmares! I have been using a roll on essential oil (soothing blend) with lavender and Sandalwood, vanilla etc. and I roll a small amount on my pillow case at bedtime. It has really been helping me to sleep better! I still have the odd night when I am awake for a bit, but so much better than it used to be. DH got me the oil for Christmas and I think its the best gift I got! LOL. I hope that one day you will be able to do your grocery shopping online, having to travel so far for groceries etc. would be a pain!

Nancy - Don't apologize to me for the game last night, I don't blame you one bit! It was not a good game! DH could not believe what was going on with the officiating and thought that they must have a bunch of idiots running the clock!! What Brad Marchand did was totally ridiculous! What a stupid thing to do!! I hope that your next Devil's game goes much better, it was an embarrassment to the NHL the way things were done! The Bruins did not play all that well either, they looked like they could quite get it all together. I really should have gone hiking today, the sun is now out and the skies have cleared up, oh well too late now the hike will have already started. I hope that you have a nice dinner with your friend, always nice to go to a restaurant and not have to cook for a change! Enjoy!!

Rae - So glad to hear that you spent some time scrapping and just having some time for yourself for a change! All work and no play makes Rae a dull girl :becky: Hoping that your work load is not too big today! Is the sun shining at your place today? Lots of fresh snow on the far mountains this morning, the skiers will be happy! Enjoy your day!

Jean - waving :hello: to you today! Hope that your weather is better today!

Ok I need more coffee and then I will get outside for a walk this morning and soak up the sun while it is still out there. Have a great Wednesday everyone!

Good morning, ladies. Dropped Taz off at daycare and then came home to fold up 2 loads of laundry before starting another load. I got a big dump of work sent over this morning but that's ok, I'm starting to prefer doing it earlier in the day rather than later. Most nights now I am able to finish up by dinnertime and relax in the evening with hubs and Taz.

Tonight I am going to scrap a page or two. D is off to an overnight work conference so I'm going to make an easy dinner for myself after I bring Taz back from daycare and then have some "me" time.

Chris - hope you get your AJ page done. I know what you mean about renos and moving product around. A couple of our grocery stores have undergone renos this past year and it takes forever to find stuff b/c even the staff doesn't know where things get moved. It just makes grocery shopping taking twice as long.

Nancy - glad Luther's allergies seem better. Enjoy your night out for dinner. Last night's dinner sounds really yummy.

Trudy - glad you have some sunshine this morning, we don't. It's still raining. Bet you are excited to be going to spend a few days with the grandkids tomorrow.

Felis - thx for the suggestion of the bracelet. Did I tell you guys that I bought an essential oil bracelet for Bailey? I'm so excited to give it to her on Saturday when we go to the island to see her. I'm giving her a bottle of lavender to put on the beads. Have you used lavender to help you sleep? I put a few drops on the edge of my pillow at bedtime and I think it helps.

I'm getting back to work now but more coffee first. I've given up a lot of foods with my low carb/paleo diet but coffee is not one of them :) Have a great everyone!

More gray today but it's also snowing lightly. I actually got a page done yesterday, we're starting a new puzzle (I love it - Charlie Harper of Monteverde, a cloud forest preserve in Costa Rica we have visited) and I'm making dinner tonight.

Chris, guess no one ever found the cat who made the tracks. The missing kitty is a worry but probably safely somewhere nearby. Between the cleaning job today and a start on that AJ page you have good ways to cope. And the store, we all know what you mean. Hate it when a store "reorganizes" as I too make a list the way the store is set up.

Felis, waking up late and having to rush sounds familiar. When I have to be up early (for me) I never allow time for extra things like checking email or the O. Don't think you should use that oil if it causes nightmares. Would not like that! Thanks for comments on my weeklies. I like it better not feeling compelled to take a photo every day letting it be more natural.

Nancy, well what is wrong with sports these days?. It isn't just hockey where calls are clearly wrong and sometimes cost a game. Your game last night sound especially bad though. Not even working the clock right? Ridiculous. Anyway, you'll have a better time at the restaurant tonight.

Trudy, Sorry about your hike. DH cancelled his survey for this morning as it was predicted to be windy. Don't know if it was that bad, but survey guidelines say not to do it with winds 10mph or more. But hope not going does give you time to scrap! We all think that 20 laps sounds great but hope you get to do more tomorrow.

Rae, you really have your work schedule clicking along, but somehow the scrapping seems to slide off the edge. Hope you get one done.

Warm wishes to all.
