brrr again!!! Too cold!!! Forget about how many days til spring, I want summer, dammit!!!!
Who has any fun and exciting news to share? (I know Linda S-- Maui!!!ound I am in that mid-winter funk. Every day seems the same. Cold and dark in the am, bundle up and shiver all day and then cold and dark in the PM! I feel like each day is just a blur of boring-ness.
And yuck!! I don't know what to do about signing up for the lake/beach this year. There going to be raising the rates- by a lot. $50-60 for a family membership and I can't remember what the individual member ship is going to be but it was a lot more than I want to spend. It was well over $100.
I guess I need to talk to Cait and see if she is going to be at all interested in going. But I need to put my feet in the sand and sit in the sun, so its time to scrape the pennies! My parents usually help with the fee but they have helped us quite a bit with meds this past year that I just hate to even say anything to them.
I am off to ShopRite in a bit (and there was much rejoicing. yay.) Then my mom is coming up after that. For Christmas she kept asking what I wanted so I told her that I would love it if she made me some meals. She is bringing up home made homemade acini bebe soup- (beef and tomato broth with tiny pasta), eggplant parm, taco meat, and a meatloaf for Gary and I. She is amazing!!! I invited her to stay for dinner too. Caitlyn misses her and wants to spend time with her, which you know my mom totally laps up! Its a win-win for everyone. I invited my dad too. He has to go and check the heat and pipes at the lakehouse and I hope that he will take the long way home and meet us at dinner time as well. I love my family. I really do.
I spoke to my BFF yesterday after she had another "incident" with her mom. Her mom is crazy. Not in a medical way- but so seriously self-centered it sometime amazes me that my BFF is so much the opposite. But I guess my point is that again, I am so incredibly blessed to have great family and I hope that I never ever take them for granted.
And as well- I hope that I never take my O-Fam for granted. You are all such amazing women! Truly. When I think about all that each of you go through and how strong you all are- and then how happy all of you are to share kindness and wisdom (and a bit of tartness on top, Phyllis!! :rofl it makes me so happy to be part of this group.
Oh look, I wrote another novel...
Better get going before I bore you all to tears.
xoxoxo and have a fab day!! Warm sunny thoughts~~~~~~
