Happy Hump Day-- not that there is much of a long week here since Its out first day back to school/work. And we have a delayed opening so everyone's moving slowly.
This winter stinks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

we ended up with about 4 inches of snow and at least a half inch of ice on top. Just lovely. i really really want to be somewhere warm! And I really really don't want to have to keep shoveling the driveway......

But-- didja all see????? We have good news to celebrate!!!

morning all - snowy wintry mix here- will have to be extra careful on my way to work. Tomorrow- day off!!!!!!!!! Yeah I can't wait!
 
Laurie-- be safe on the roads. We have more freezing rain right now. The kids are on delayed opening so hopefully by 8 am, it will be better.

Clara- i did get your msg about vaca pics! Sounds great!
How did you do with your list? I have mine all written up for today and ready to go. I have got to remember to call nj familycare (our SCHIP program) since I lost my job, the kids are at a "better" level for lower copays, but even though I spoke to them, send paperwork in last month, nothing has changed so far. Gotta get on their butts about it... Scott's appt was cancelled yesterday, but I still have Cait's tomorrow.

Anyway-- happy homecoming to Ethan!!!!! And your mama!
Hope things go smoothly for school and that principal.

Trudy-- welcome back!!!! Its is so darn hard to leave Disney, isn't it? Every time I cry. For real. This past time, Scott had to keep showing me a photo of him making kooky faces on Space Mt, just to make me laugh. Then I'd cry again LOL That sounds like a brutal trip home, glad you have been able to nap!

Hi Katrina- good to see you back again. Did DH have a nice b-day? Hoep that you got some good scrap time in.
Interview went great- I start on Friday!!

Hey ladies, back to routine today. Yesterday was tough trying to balance getting some work done and being mom. AAUGH! But we are back to work and school. The ice wasn't too bad in our neighborhood - thankfully, they treated our road. Some others were not so lucky at all. I had my 32 week appointment yesterday afternoon - repeat C-section scheduled for March 9. Wow, crazy how fast this pregnancy has flown by, but I think we are nearly ready (well as ready as we can be).

Chris - congrats on the interview and starting the job!

Laurie - drive safely. They are expecting more snow here tomorrow night. I am tired of cold - ready for sun and flip flops.
 
Today is the day!!! Whoohoo!! I was so excited because my mom was going to bring me crab but she went to get it yesterday and the flying fish market was closed. There were other fish vendors open, but they really are the best. Their crab tastes the best and their packing for overnight shipping is really the most trusted. So she decided not to settle for mediocre crab to bring me and she'll bring it when she visits in April. April is still an "R" month so it should still be pretty good then. I'm good with that.

So, I called the school yesterday and still haven't heard from the principal. Go figure. I'll call again in a little bit. They are being difficult on purpose. I'm glad they don't think it is important but I do so I'm going to be Ethan's advocate and do what I need to for him. I just don't know what the big deal is, ya know?

So, I forgot to make a list yesterday but I still busted my butt and got stuff done so it was okay. Still got stuff to do today before they get here today though. My mom is renting a car so I'm not picking them up from the airport. I just need to decide what to make for dinner and get beds together and stuff. Addie's room is all clean for my mom though. I just need to wash her bed stuff and it is good.

Well, the house isn't going to clean itself and the principal isn't going to call me. So, I'd better get.

Chris - I will send you some pics a little later today when I get a chance. That will be fun. I hope you guys get the insurance stuff figured out for the kids. I would totally adopt you guys if I could so that you could be covered by our insurance plan w/o copays and deductibles.

Laurie - I know about that Ohio snow crap. Be super careful and safe. I'm glad you get to stay home tomorrow. Enjoy your day off. Maybe a day of rest and nothing will be in your future. I know you could use it.

ME - 32 weeks already? No way. It seems like we just found out you were pregnant. I am so excited for you and even more excited that you came back around to share this pregnancy with us. Stay safe on those roads too.
 
Morning all you lovely "O" ladies!! It is sunny and cold today, but no snow, thank you to the winter gods:hail:. I have been busy all morning burning my pictures to disk and wow I can't believe how many that I have!! It will be good to get this all done. Hubby came home from work yesterday and said that his office wanted to know if I would like to do typing for them on a casual basis, so I think that I would like that! It would give me a little extra cash, but I have to practice up on my speed and accuracy. It should only be a few days a month, or when they get really busy if there is a major crime. Today I must get out of the house and go shopping for a few things, my sister took care of the house while we were away and I should really get her a little something for that. A few more groceries so that I have things for lunch at work and then I think I will get busy scrapping, I have not posted anything on here for so long, I hope I remember how to do it! LOL

Clara - You must be so excited to get you boy back!! Also to see your mom again!! Too bad she could not get the crab for you, yummmmm!!! Love Crab when it is fresh!! Not so much when it isn't. Hope you get hold of that darn principal today, how rude that they have not returned your phone calls! I know that you won't let them get away with anything!! :nono:

Laurie - be careful driving out there today!! Day off tomorrow, horray, hope you get to do all that you want to!

Mei -32 weeks already, boy time is just flying by, how exciting for you to have this new little one in your life!!

Chris - Sorry that you are hating the winter so very much!! I wish I could hop on a plane and take you to the beach somewhere, how about Cuba?? The beaches are lovely there, and I hear that they are getting more lax about letting Americans vacation there now. It is one of my favorite places especially Cayo Coco, just beautiful!! Opps now I'm making myself wish that I was on vacation again. :doh: . It was hard to leave Disney, but we had a great time and we were pooped out from all the walking and packing babies around. Next time it won't be until they are able to remember the trip and not have to be carried. It took a couple of days to catch up on our sleep, but I am ready to go back LOL!!

guess i should say afternoon as its almost noon!! LOL not quite but close enough.....supposed to be getting snow today UGH....4-6 inches they say
 
evening all made it safe to work- safe home and now the snow tomorrow won't start till 10am- I'm fine with that- I've got the day all planned- I'm going to do more purging- I started at the beginning of the year and the past two weeks I have not gotten any further ahead. So that and scrapping are on my list. I also have cleaning- but think I will do that tonight- already in my jammies!
