Hello and happy Wednesday! Who wants #coffee-2
I *need* coffee, I am feeling tired this morning. I am not sure if it is allergies or the beginning of a cold, but I am slightly stuffy/headachey. Cait is working remotely today, she isn't feeling great either. She is taking a test right now since I am seeing my mom today. The conference she went to last Friday was very crowded so she is being careful.

I worked on the linen closet for almost two hours. I refolded (re-smushed? re-wrapped?) all the sheets. If I had a superpower, my wish would be for folding fitted sheets, nice and neat. I still have to pull everything out from the bottom of the closet but after 2 hours, I was done. I have two bags of some clothes and sheets and towels to donate, I'll try to drop them off today.
I have an appt with the dermatologist, just a quick recheck on the bump on my ear. It is still there, but it is smaller. As long as Cait tests negative, I am going to my parents to keep cleaning out their basement.

Hope everyone is having a wonderful day!

Good morning. Great day yesterday! Because...drumroll please...:drums2:...I have a job! I go back to work on March 20. Which gives me a little bit of time to spend getting things organized before I head back! And it also gives me spring break off. WooHoo! And I got a raise from the last time that I worked there! Kids were thrilled! Brian is thrilled! I am thrilled!

Went to a park about 45 minutes from here. Spent some time walking around at Washington Oaks State Park, stopped for lunch and just had a good day! Washington Oaks State Park is on the Matanzas River and they have beautiful rose gardens. Only a few are blooming but it is just gorgeous there. So peaceful and lots of oak trees covered in Spanish Moss. Hard for me to believe that we are at the end of February!

@LSlycord Any news about the job? *fingers crossed*
Poor Syd, I am so sorry that she is stressed but really glad she has you. Not all moms would stay on Facetime for 2 hours, just so their DD could see their face. Such a good connection you have with your kids :beatingheart:

@Cherylndesigns Did the IT guy fix the computer??
That has happened to me too, I tried to do a System Restore and there were no Restore Points.

@BrightEyes the weather changes sound like they are wreaking havoc on your body. Hope that you are feeling a little better today. and the storm wasn't too bad.

@taxed4ever The :cloud9: is really cute and I know you felt that way after you kissed your Gary goodbye and sent him off to work :D
The pool website updates will be really helpful (as long as you aren't like me and would use it as an excuse to *not* go). Is that a new feature on the website?

@bcgal00 I hope that you booked a cruise! That will be a long trip but very different than your typical cruise.
Poor Jen, what a miserable trip - again. :(
Give Taz some extra pets from me, please.

@vickyday awww, I love that you have a Sump Pump toad.
I like the way you keep track of your LOs and credits. I should try something like that.
How is Ilene today?

@Nonni F :floorlaugh: Yup, that sounds like a typical weather forecast. Hope that you got enough to keep the rivers and lakes filled but not so much that it's a PITA to shovel.

EVA!!!!!!!!!!!
@tanteva you always make me laugh! The ketchup smilie was a special request, but *not* by me :lol23:
I hope that you're feeling alto better and will be hanging out a little more again. xo

Gotta get going, love to all!

Good morning, World!

Beautiful sunny start to this cold NH morning. The sunny calm before the storm. I hope everyone is safe and warm this morning... coffee in hand.

@LSlycord I love that you Facetime with your daughter that way. How sweet. I hope it helped her. and a JOB!!!!! Congrats!!!

Need to scrap tonight. Not sure where yesterday went once I got home. Made dinner, a batch of cat food (started making my own food a couple months ago. Was sick of inconsistency in every can I opened) Anyhow..... next thing I knew, it was time for bed...and back to work this morning.

@BrightEyes weather changes can be brutal and I think this has been one of the most drastic roller coaster rides of a winter I can remember in a long time.

@faerywings I'm with you on the fitted sheets...mine always look like they are just a jumble. No matter how much time I spend on them. Oh well, another skill that I probably won't learn! Yes, I was a little surprised when I asked if she wanted me to just stay on the line and she said yes. I am so blessed to have the connections with my kids. Shaun is feeling a little less sore. And I can tell that the CrossFit is really lifting his mood. Sure hope that Cait didn't pick up Covid at the conference and that you can have a good day with your folks in the basement.

@Cherylndesigns I am so happy that the computer problems have been resolved. I know that the second screen is a pain, getting used to it. But it will be so worth it when it becomes second nature! And I'm sure Chuck is relieved that he doesn't :couchhide: need to hide while you can't make the computer work!

And @tanteva glad to see that you are still hanging in there. Before long those days will be getting longer!

@Nonni F my DH has always said he'd like being a weatherman because it wouldn't matter if he was right or not! I agree...busy days at work are much better than the alternative!

@BrightEyes so glad that you have good neighbors. Those high winds wouldn't have been good with swings and fire pit covers flying around. And you sure couldn't move them with your shoulder.

@vickyday I'm sorry that Mark didn't feel well. Hope he is better now. Glad that Ilene is doing well at her son's house. And I like the idea of keeping a folder for the month. I may steal that idea!

@taxed4ever hope you got in some swim time.

@bcgal00 I can't wait to hear how things went with the travel agent. And I know that you would hate disembarking in Florida but I would :heartpumplove: it! We would drive to wherever you disembark. Or you could stay at our place for a few days. I am so sorry that Jen had to drive through that awful weather. That takes such a toll!

I asked Mark about the "toad" yesterday. He said it is a bullfrog and yes he's still living in the sump pump.
Ilene is doing well! Thanks for asking!:heartpumpred::heartpumppink:

Couldn't resist making a LO for Momma O's challenge about getting ready for the high winds today and tomorrow. Got it uploaded a few minutes ago. So glad my neighbor came over and did all the heavy lifting and moving things around for me. The news here has been warning about it for the past few days. They are also warning that we may loss power and/or internet service. The winds have started but haven't reached the high wind gusts yet. Decided I had better turn the heat up a big higher - 71° - just in case we do lose power.

The lights flickered so better get off the computer. BBL

Mark is good one day and not the next. He had a good day yesterday. Today so far so good.

More CT info.....
When you are downloading the kits, I'm sure you have noticed the link to the product on the left (right above the download.) I copy and paste that link into my Word document. That way you are not having to type out the product name and then select it and then right click on it to add the hyper link. It's all done in one step. If the product doesn't list the designer name I begin my list with this:
All products by.....(insert name)
When I am on the computer later I'll make a print screen to show you how I set each layout up so it's easy to copy and paste.

Good morning all,
Quick in and out as I'm not feeling great today. Hoping I didn't get something while with Ilene in the hospital on Saturday.
Mark woke up with a niggling that he isn't supposed to get the jeep. So he's going to call them to let them know. He did get the money from the bank and test drove the jeep yesterday after work. Then we ate supper at momma mia on the way home. So I guess the hunt for the perfect vehicle will continue.

Ok. I'm done. Need to get some more Tylenol, recline the head of the bed and try to get rid of this headache. #angry2

Have a great day!

Good Morning everyone! Well winter is rearing its ugly head again this morning!!! :holysheep:its cold out there!! Fresh snow on the Mountain tops and just a light dusting of the white stuff here on the ground. The wind is howling and we have storm warnings for the rest of the day. Guess I will not be hiking today! I did get in lots of laps yesterday at the pool, so I can say that I have gotten some exercise at least. The pool was a bit busier than the last time, but still not bad at all. Hope to go back to the pool tomorrow. It will be a good day to just stay inside and keep warm and work on some more creative things! I woke up this morning to find a few photos sent to us from our DIL Jackie. They are in Cuba enjoying the beautiful beaches of Cayo Coco!! It looks so nice and warm and sunny there. Oh how I wish we were there with them!! They will not like the weather when they arrive back home to Ottawa!! Keeping our fingers crossed that they do not get sick when they get home, seems everyone catches Covid after they arrive back home. :(

@faerywings - Hope that you are not getting sick!! Did you also test yourself?? Hope that you have a nice visit with your Mom today! Yup fitted sheets they are Devil!! I have watched many videos on how to fold them nice and neatly, but this one is my favourite!! :giggle4:. I have cleaned out my linen closet also and ended up with Three huge bags of stuff to donate to Canadian Diabetes. They come right to your door to pick up, so its a great incentive to get de-cluttering. Next huge job will be to de-clutter the crawl space and get rid of years of stuff and things that are never used and haven't been for a long, long, time! Good luck at the Dermatologist this morning, hopefully your little lump will be gone soon!

@LSlycord - Congratulations on getting your job!! Wow a raise to boot!! So happy for you!! #clap:hug2::heartpumplove::lovey3:. Sounds like you had a pretty darn good day overall!! How nice to spend the afternoon at the park and the Spanish moss must look so pretty in the trees! Did you take some photos??

@Nonni F - Are you in for a storm in your neck of the woods also?? Seems like the whole world is getting one today, except for @LSlycord place. Maybe we should all meet at her house and go for a swim in the pool?? Good for you for making your own cat food! I am sure that the ingredients in most cat food is not so great for them, bet your kitty's love you for it!

@vickyday - Glad that your friend is feeling better and is with family! Now you are not doing so well? Hope its nothing that you picked up at the hospital! Take care of you and get some rest! Too bad about the jeep, but like your DH says maybe it was just not meant to be.

@BrightEyes - Stay safe today! Hope the winds are not as bad as they are predicting! So nice that you battened down the hatches outside yesterday and had some help doing it! So nice to have great neighbours!!

@bcgal00 - Hope Jen's trip home is a bit better than her trip to Vancouver! Sure hope its the last time she has to do that trip in the Winter!! Anxious to hear how things went at the travel agent! Keeping my fingers crossed that you found a great cruise to do soon!!

@Cherylndesigns - I hear ya about learning curves!! I try my best to keep up with all the new tech stuff, but its getting harder and harder! Hope the computer woes are all finished for you!

@tanteva - LOL I knew you would love that ketchup smiley!! Hope you pop in more often!

Ok off to the nice warm shower, before Heather calls, I think they are in for bad weather today also, so the boys might be having another snow day! Hope you all have a creative day! :waving1

Good morning all.

Update from computer central - The IT guy got all of my problems straightened out yesterday. He's the nicest guy and Chuck called him day before yesterday and he came out yesterday! He was here for about 2 hours. I'm working on my big monitor now which is wonderful because it's really big. I was going to close my laptop - he fixed it so I don't even need it (however, it's still "command central" so it has to be on. So, I decided to use an external keyboard that I bought when I got the Mac. I struggled with that for an hour or so and got frustrated, so opened my laptop back up and I'm using the keyboard. I plan on using the new, external keyboard, in time, but I decided not to cut off more than I can chew right now. It's very different - the touch, the size, the fact that it's just sitting on my desk, Like I said, there are still some learning curves. I felt good that I was able to work with all of the windows open on my new monitor! Like you said, Trudy @taxed4ever there's always a learning curve - I'm like you, I try to keep up too but it's getting harder all the time.

Chris @faerywings and Linda @LSlycord thanks for the support - we ALL depend so much on our computers - yes, Chuck doesn't have to hide behind the couch anymore. He's so funny, he knows that not much makes me crabby, but when my computer doesn't work right, watch out. Chris @faerywings I'm loling over you and the fitted sheets. Back in my "Martha Stewart day", I actually knew how to fold fitted sheets - I tucked the corners and they would fold so beautifully and flat. Then, sheets got bigger and it's the corners that get us now - all of our sheets have "deep pockets" now and they're a PITA. That's what throws me off now. Forget about it - said in my NY/NJ accent. :rotfl:

Linda @LSlycord congrats on the job - that's so awesome and lucky you have a little lead time to get yourself ready. I'm so happy for you. Shaun is going to love cross fit - a lot of the kids here do it - Ava does Jujitsu and most of the others do cross fit. Ava got a "stripe" last night - a black one for her belt - she was SO excited!!

Hello to Kay @BrightEyes Vicky @vickyday and Nonni @Nonni F . It's currently 60 and raining but supposed to be sunny in an hour and 70. I knew Eve @tanteva would surface when she saw the ketchup emojis. :rotfl:

Hopefully, I can scrap a page today for pre release and I need to get into the gallery.

Quick pop back in... the winds are now up to around 40mph with gusts already up over 55mph. So far all the patio stuff has not moved - so hoping it stays like that. The worse is suppose to hit between 3 and 5 PM.

@LSlycord Congrats on the job!!#cheer1 What a relief that it came through for you.

@Cherylndesigns So happy the IT guy got your computer straightened out!!!

@taxed4ever So glad that the ear wax removal seems to have cleared up the swimming problem with the ears. Happy that you at least have swimming when the weather is bad.

@tanteva - knew the catsup smilie would catch your attention! Nice to see you popping back in.

@faerywings How nice that you got the linen closet cleaned out. You are on a roll on cleaning and decluttering, gal!!!

So, here is the current page I am working on.
Smell the Flowers, typed in Bold to indicate the name of the layout.
The next line will usually begin with "Journaling reads:......." , however I am doing a quote on this page.
When I copy and paste the link from the download page it looks different than the "blue" linked line. I remove the formatting to change it. I do that for the purpose of my blog posting.
One caution.....when copy and pasting into the gallery, wherever there is an "enter" in my Word document, it come over in the gallery description/credits area as a double line entry.

(FYI - The last 2 blue items at the bottom of the page are things I have downloaded recently that still need to be used in a layout.)
Hope this helps my explanation of what I do to make my social sharing easier.
