Its Wednesday and I have a long day ahead of me, for sure.
Bus stop, babysitting, food shopping and then work. blergh!!
Yesterday seemed like just another blur of a day. But there was a little ray of hope in the morning. When I took the kids to the bus at 6:40, I could see the sun coming up and some birds were chirping. It felt like spring couldn't be to far away, at least until it started snowing like crazy in the afternoon.... sheesh.....
We also spoke to the Prosecutor about the trail. Apparently Scott is an important witness because he is the one that set the ball in motion for her to come forward and report her step-father. We meet with them tomorrow for some background work, then he'll have to meet with them again to get a tour of the court, prep for questioning and cross-examination. When I am able to step back and look at it all objectively, I can see that this is a "character-builder" and will be a positive experience for him in that he will see the judicial system in action, he will feel good about doing the right thing, even when it is not the easy thing. Then I pop back into Mom-Mode and some of that doesn't sound so good, yannow? LOL
ugh-- poor Gary has been up since 5, his blood sugar is near 400. he did a set change for his insulin pump (sometimes the needle gets bent under the skin and can't deliver the insulin) but he is feeling very sick and is throwing up some more from it. he does not seem to get a break, does he?
Anyway-- that's my day. Wish me luck at the grocery store. Oh and the pharmacy too- I have 6 Rx's to drop off between the 2 kids. Yay! I am back to playing Rx Roulette. Which ones will the insurance cover today?
:faint:
Have a wonderful dayyyy!!!
