My house is beginning to look like Christmas! Our tree is up and looks and smells pretty. We almost didn't get a tree since Scrooge aka Gary was unhappy with them. We go through this every year, although the last few years have gotten worse. He prefers fake trees and wants small ones. He would really like to not have a tree at all. The place we usually get our tree was scarily expensive. $90 for a 6-7' tree. The garden center is the one where Scott worked for years and his old boss usually gives us the employee discount and he wasn't in yesterday, not that the discount would have made a dent this time.
He had Scott looking at Walmart.com for fake trees while we drove the next place and whew, thankfully they had some that were less $$. It is up and Snow White and the Grinch are where they need to be. We watched A Christmas Story and now all is right with the world.
I finished the wool scarf, all it needs is the fringe and I am pretty happy with how it came out. Today I am picking up groceries and then I am going to bake the 2 batches of Magic Bars. If I don't start baking I am going to stress more and more every day. But first, I promised Cait I would bring her coffee. BRB!!
