Well, well, well... looks like my plans for the day are shot.
I had planned on going down the highway, hitting a bunch of stores, then meeting my BFF for coffee, then coming back up the highway to finish off some more C-mas shopping.
We were supposed to get a bit of snow/sleet/rain mix this morning, but it turning into over 6 inches so far. Now we are getting sleet. Schools are closed roads look to be a mess.
I am going to have to do some online shopping for sure.
I can't believe is it down to 2 weeks and a day! Gah!!!!!

Sorry for being MIA so much. Between losing my mind and -- ugh, yeah lost my mind...its been a rough month or two.

Linda W- so cold here too! Hope you had a great day with your babies. hope that C-man is feeling way better today.

Ona- I am moving in with you!! I need the heat!!

Andrea- woot!! a TB! That is awesome! Just think of how much scrap goodies you can get onto that!
Thanks for thinking of me, yes had another really rough day But it will get better!!

Ahhh! Linda S! I can't complain about my measly 6" of snow- a blizzard?? Already!!!! No!!!!
Hope it all melts away for you soon. Unless you like it, then it needs to just stay off of the roads and driveways.
Me, I am allover the idea of moving in w/ Ona.....

Good morning!!

I feel so BLAH!!!!!!!!! I just can't seem to get into the spirit right now...

I have done NO shopping!!! I am usually DONE and just waiting for the day to get here!! Also, this has been a really bad one for DH...He is working MEGA hours....his route is mostly business and usually is not that affected by Christmas...but they added a bunch of residential to him, and he is getting home really really late every night...and is really really worn out....

So I am sounding like a GRINCH now!!! YIKES!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay...I have been writing this for over an hour now....I need to go....

Cameran is here again today...he has strep...UGHH!!

Glad to see you in here today Chris!

Insane weather we have here. So much so that the office closed. I'll do some work from home today...but I'll also be able to slip into the O's from time to time. I may hit that ridiculous posting goal yet!

Back to the weather...we have huge snow drifts across the driveway. In some places I would guess that the drifts are 7 feet...maybe 8. In other places, the concrete shows through. After we get some real light, I'll run out and take a picture. Days like today, I wonder why I live in Iowa!

OKay guys...sounds like we need a Christmas party so I am bringing all the Christmas goodies...

Let's see what do we need, Hot Apple Cider, hot cocoa with lots of marshmallows, peppermint mochas, egg nog, gingerbread men, sugar cookies to decorate, rum to add to the eggnog and some candy canes. Now it is time to sing...

I have been in a funk too. I am still not over the sickies I had over a month ago. That's what I get for not finishing the antibiotics (I'm ducking hoping the inevitable "CLARA!!!" from Linda doesn't hit me). Today at lunch I am going with a girl I work with to Game stop to help her get her daughter set up with a DS. I'm on this this new used gaming system kick. We've been buying games and stuff there and saving a bunch of money and stuff. No reason to spend all that money on new stuff. That is craziness.

So this morning was interesting. Addie was throwing this huge "I'm so tired" fit about nothing. Just screaming and yelling. So, I told Derek to turn on the shower on cold and started to try and take off her shirt and she started yelling that she didn't want to go in the shower so I told her to stop yelling, which she did. then I told her to go apologize to her dad, which she didn't do but she went in there and nicely let him brush her hair and brush her teeth. He got all mad at me saying he didn't have time for the whole shower thing. I was just sitting there wondering how he had time for the giant fit she was throwing. It was really bad. It was kind of his own fault though. He asked a sleeping 3 year old if she wanted to wake up and take a bath. She said no and then when he woke her up later and wanted to get her ready she wanted to take a bath and tehre was no longer time for a bath, but she was throwing a giant fit that he didn't have time for. At 6:30 in the morning I think you don't have time for choices for 3 year olds. But I don't say anything since I am busy sleeping. Doesn't give me room for an opinion.

Well, I am going to finish up. I need to get some addresses ready to send out. Yay!! Very excited about that!!

Chris - So glad to see you made it here today. I missed you. Hope you were able to get some vodka and pass the heck out. I hope everything is okay. Sending some hugs and positive thoughts your way. Sorry Christmas shopping didn't work out. Overstock has no shipping today.

LindaW - That stinks that UPS is kicking your husband's butt. Maybe he'll start thinking retirement after this?? Did you want him to start thinking about it? This is a crazy time of year for all postal workers. I know I work them to death. I need to get all of my packages together still. This weekend is my plan. I am hoping to get it together so that dh can take it to the post office at the hospital and he can go there right when it opens. we'll see how that works out though. I need to get some priority boxes. sorry...off track. I hope this season doesn't wear him and therefore you out too bad. Poor C. I hate having strep. It just stinks. Lots of popsicles for him.

LindaS - you stay safe in that insane weather. I hate the snow personally but I hope with that much you are enjoying it. No Christmas shopping done yet? Not good!! Get on it lady!! Time is ticking!!

Okay I'm off to do some work on the Christmas addresses.
