I never opened a new daily O's thread, untill now...
I'm so proud of my little girl! She pooped for the first time on the toilet! (tell me how I can write that in a nicer way for little kids?? TELL ME!!!! LOL )
She was potty trained for a few months now. She pied every time on the toilet. But the other thing went in her pants every time. She would hold everything for 2 days, and the 3rd day it would come out itself!
This morning we made a card. the "Poop on the toiled" card.
And whoehoew! The first square colored just now!

Yvon! Love the card!! She looks very proud of herself.
Congrats to your little one and to you too. You forget how exciting the first poops can be:)

Happy Wednesday to my O-Fam. I missed you all terribly yesterday. but it was really nice to get down to visit my MIL. My SIL popped by at the end of the day so I was able to visit with her for a few. Then a fun trip to the warehouse in the pouring rain on my way home. Wheee! Fun day!

Today is grocery shopping in the rain. But at least I am out of the house even for an hour or so. Gary has been a real crab, and we had a huge fight over the boy I babysit in the mornings. He leaves pop tart crumbs on the table (oh horror!!) and how the heck it became a fight, I have no idea. I have to step back and remind myself its not him (MMG), its the disease..... it still sucks though....:(

Other than the same ole, same old, not much going on here.

hugs and loves to everyone!

Fran-- I am so sorry to hear about your MIL and you mom. Any new news? I hope that they both get better quickly. Good thoughts and hugs~~~~

Phyllis- I (used to) have a philosophy that you have to have one big party every 6 months. It was the only way I could get myself to do a serious deep clean/declutter. I love the idea of rent-a-kid- then you can put that kid to work too!

Maureen- I really really REALLY need to get back to FLYlady....... The emails just got to me, so I unsubbed, then I would sub again, then unsub...
hope you had a productive day!

Trudy- good luck when YMG retires, he is going to want you to do everything with him, if you are not careful hahahahah!! My MIL says that she can never get anything done on the weekends when FIL is home b/c he needs her to spend just about every minute with him. he is 65 and she is dreading the day he retires :p

Oh Clara- so sorry that the church group didn't work out. Maybe there will be another group you can lead at some point? xoxo

J- no. never say that troubles with your fur-baby are not "important." Its been over 2 months since I lost my harley and I still miss her terrible. Yesterday we received her paw print plaque from the vet and it still aches inside. I didn't want to put it down, its the last bit of her I have to hold, to touch. Fritzie is your baby and to think of losing him is horrible and sad and heartbreaking.
hugs to him, to you and to YMG.

better get in the shower, and get the kids rolling.... another long and busy day here!

love to all of you!

Chris, that's not nice to have a fight like that :( What kind of desease does he have? I can not find the meaning of that on google

I'm trying to participate in the daily O's.. I tried it one time, lasted for 2 days. So I'll do my best to even pass the 2 days LOL

Fran, how is your mom and mil doing? Hope they will be better soon!

Phylis, same here! Except I DO have 2 girls running around. Evertime I mopped the floor, within half an hour there will be some drinks spilled on the floor. I feel like I beter don't mop anymore. No drinks will be spilled than..

Clara, big hugs for you.

Jacqueline, hope you dog is feeling better today!!

Oh damn! I have a sad girl here. Last monday with Sinterklaas she got a Mi2. A gameconsole with 105 built in games.
She played with it yesterday a few times. And yesterday evening I put it on adapter, to recharge. Imke took it off, and put it back, she put the adapter in the wrong input. And today the console doesn't work anymore!
I bought it on oktober 26st. So I called the toystore, and I can come over with the bankpaper where the payment is on. I'm sooo hoping they will replace the console!

Morning all...

A real downpour going on here. It's still frickin' warm but 'they say' it will turn cold later today or tonight. That means sleet or snow. I'll take snow tyvm! I had planned to treat myself to a visit to Wegmans/Costco but this rain makes me want to stay in and ...well, stay in. I also have the final Harry Potter via Redbox. They make me laugh. Order it on line and get 10c off. Dick reminds me that IS 10% off which does sound like a lot more. But really...

Yvon, sorry no photo. FB says not available. Those milestones are important! then there's the first period. My daughter was so excited the first time. Next month, it was "How long is this going on!!!" Uh...about 40 years.

Chris, glad you got some family time yesterday. That's always a change of energy. But yes, it's a shame about the argument. Most of them do seem to start from trivial things, but it's always really about what's underneath. Figuring the latter is what makes some of us go ??? What WAS that all about!

Well time for some more tea and probably oatmeal. I had raisin bread with peanut butter for breakfast yesterday and that sounds just fine again today.

Chris, the party comment made me laugh out loud. and isn't that the TRUTH. it FORCES you to clean up!

Yvon--YAY on the potty!

Eva, i was making Christmas cards most of the day yesterday and have a stiff neck from it. i still have 10+ more to make. WHY do i do this??

Maureen. i envy you all your carbs. breakfast is the worst meal for me. i either have to have something baked in advance (with Splenda and almond flour) or cook an egg, which i actually don't like. this morning, i'm actually contemplating left-over lasagna (with my low-carb Dreamfields Pasta. i could KISS that company. pasta that doesn't spike blood sugar.)

oh, well. onward to Wednesday. rain here, and maybe some wet snow later. abnother day to make a fire in the wood stove. oh, well. it IS December, i keep telling myself....

Good Morning Ladies.....feel a bit more rested today since I got a good nights sleep.

I heard from my sister last night, my mom has double pneumonia. She is in ICU and was on a resperator, the doctor says that since she is doing much of the breathing on her own now they will be removing the resperator today. Doctors say she will be fine it will just take a long while to recup from this bought.

My MIL is still very weak although at home with home nursing care. She has a follow up appointment with the pulmonary specialist and her own doctor today, DH is taking her. Will let you all know the outcome of that visit.

Yvonne - The link is not working for me either, but how cute that she is so excited about the poop card....hee hee....glad to hear you can get the game replaced.....remember you don't have to comment on each and every post, but do check in we would love to keep up with the poop scoop.....;>)

Chris - I swear husbands can be such downers......glad to hear your day out was wonderful and relaxing.

Eva - Christmas cards, oh my, not even on my radar this year....bad girl!

Maureen - I like the Harry Potter series, great escape movie, we've been watching all the Christmas movies that are running this month.....I swear they are such tear jerkers for me....maybe I shouldn't be watching them right now.

Morning Sweet "O"'s I don't have to work until 9:00 today so hope to get some computer time in before heading to work. Still up at 6:00am just my inner alarm clock I guess. I got to talk to my son last night, he is finally home from Italy and back with his beautiful family, Hooray!! Unfortunately the day after he arrived home, Jackie (his wife) had to head out of town for four days on a course for the Military. Jeeezzz!!! No time to say hello, just here's the kids honey goodbye. Poor Jason!! But he is very happy to be with his babies again!!

Chris - glad that your visit with MIL was nice, don't you just hate those silly arguments!! 5 minutes later you are wondering WTH?? Did that really just happen?? Hope your MG feels more like himself soon! And you are right if my MG retires I think he will drive me nuts :loco: !! I guess I will just have to let him know that I am used to my time alone and he will have to put up with it.

Yvonne - Wooo Hooo on pooping on the potty!! It really is a big deal!! No more diapers!! Keep my fingers crossed for you that the store replaces the game console!!
Unfortunately I cannot see the card either  but I will check again later.

Maureen - Booo to the crappy weather you will be getting!! A good time to stay at home where its nice and dry and warm! LOL on your daughter asking how long her period will last :pound: then we wonder how long will these darn hot flashes stay with us another 40yrs?? :noidea:

Fran - Glad that you mother is doing better! Such a worry for you along with the stress of your MIL being ill too, its a stressful enough time of year without all the health issues too!! to all of you!! Keep us updated, thinking of you everyday!!

Phylis - Take care of your stiff neck, keep the fire stoked so you can stay cozy and warm all day, I hate winter too, hurry up spring!!! Hope you get the rest of your cards done!

Donna - I vote for the warmer climate!! Lets all pack our bags and meet on the beach in the tropics somewhere! I'll bring the sunscreen and the rum. Hope your day is great!

Well off to browse the galleries for a bit. Have a great Humpday everyone!

OK - I have been MIA for far too long!! It has been crazy around here. We've had sickness, company, a birthday party, a birthday with swimming, visit from the Holiday Train and cleaning...oh yeah, that too. I have barely even been on my computer in the last several days! Anyway, hi to all and hugs to those who need them!

Yvon - I can't wait until my middle one ALWAYS gets his poop in the potty so I'm totally with you on your excitement!!

Also, for those of us internet speak challenged...what's MG stand for?

Hey ladies! I have a little case of the blahs today and I know they can be contagious so I just wanted to hop in and say hi to all of you. Today is Wednesday...generally my favorite day of the week. I hope all of you have a Happy Hump Day.

My sister had that issue with her wedding announcements. It was horrible. My mom got 3 or 4 quotes...one of them being almost double that. They had to seal them super tight because otherwise it almost went over in size. Apparently if they are square they have to feed them into the machines by hand instead of letting the feeder do it...hence the additional cost. Ugh!!

If it's any consolation, I'll probably pay twice as much :)

Trudy, for how long was your son away from home? To bad that his wife had to leave so fast :(

Phylis, WOW!! that's expensive! Overhere it is the regular price if they are not bigger than 12cm x12cm (At least that's what I think the size is.)

Clara,

remember you don't have to comment on each and every post, but do check in we would love to keep up with the poop scoop.....;>)
LOL I will!
I figured that some people can't see it because my pictures are only for facebook friends.
This afternoon I went to the toyshop, and after 45minutes, they finaly gave me a new gamesconsole! First they had to find the payment receip. After that she tried with a new adapter, and the little light turned orange. So she said it was oke! Than she showed me, and put everything in the box. I asked her: Oh sorry, can you show me that the console is actually working? Because I don't see the "Power ON/OF" screen while putting the adapter in. She gave me her most "OMG do you mean that!"face, but she did. And my feeling was right, it didn't work!
After that she gave me a whole new box. Pfew..
Now I'm home alone with the girls sleeping upstairs. The wind is howling! there is so much wind. This is actually the first time I'm scared in my house. I thought: Lets check if the backdoor is closed... and than I thought: What if anybody would open it just now!?
Wrong thoughts LOL I even closed the back curtains, while nobody can get into our backyard.
I think I'm going to turn my laptop off, and go watch tv in my bed, with my iPad LOL
