CHEERY O
Happy happy Wednesday! I seriously can't believe that the holiday break is halfway through. eep!

It was kind of nice not working yesterday, but wow the day dragged LOL I put away some more gifts, did laundry, paid bills, and then I scrapped. Three pages! woot! Then Scott, Gary and I watched some documentaries on 2012. There are some very interesting theories on it as well as some total wack jobs.

Today I am off to clean. I am not really dreading it, but it is going to take me forever, just to vacuum. The client has 3 little ones- 6 and under. Lots of little toys under furniture on a good day, but can you imagine how many there will be 3 days after C-mas? hahah!

WWW
I wish my hip would stop hurting. It will eventually, its one of those comes and goes pains.
I want to figure out what to make for dinner. My goodness I am sick of cooking and of food.
I wish I could win the mega millions in NJ Lottery but I guess that means having to buy a ticket :D

Hi laurie- did you make your soup yesterday? It was cold and rainy here too, which means the basement is filling with water. drat!

Eva- here's the book I got, http://www.amazon.com/Unofficial-Ha...3257/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1325078564&sr=8-1. But wow, there are a ton of them out there.
I'll have to let you know if/when I try something from it.

Maureen-- good for you volunteering. What did you think of The Help? Book was great, movie was good too.
Cait's extensions-- all for the fool of it (great way to put it LOL)

laurie- so you did make your soup :) Hope it was good! I hate pile sof papers too. ugh!

Nana- it says Content Not Available at this time. I'll have to check back later. You and Mike are doing such a fantastic thing. I think that having their own rooms will also help them feel at "home" rather than staying over at Nana's.

Better get running to do my own cruddy house stuff before I head off to work on another.....

Good Morning Ladies......

Yesterday was back to work and it was busy trying to catch up with stuff. I like busy, it makes the day go by faster.

Chris, i SOOOO get you about being sick of cooking. i decided, (because i'm mad at everyone,) to tell anyone who wants food that there are lots of leftovers in the refrigerator. then i walk away. :mad2: very liberating! :heh:

I have continued with cleaning- it is feeling so good- I am really enjoying purging. I look forward to getting the paperclutter monster under control in the kitchen before I return to work. I got my walk in, and have returned to tracking my food, finally the scales are starting to head down. I need to finish the clutter clearing so I can work on creative stuff this evening!

The week seems to be flying by even if nothing exciting is happening:)

My dear brother should be getting out of hospital today... still don't know exactly what happened - being 83 he seems to be succeptible to flus and bugs.

Seem to have lost my scrapping mojo!

Wish it would come back! Lots of photos to scrap. Too many kits and choices doesn't help ;)

Take care - stay out of kitchens if possible :biggrin1:

Chris - love the cook book! I'm printing a recipe now that was in the preview - Tender Roast Loin of Pork with Variations - I'm thinking of making the first one there. Looks simple enough :) And I bought pork loin today for New Year's Eve.

Made Thai food for dinner today - it was sooooo nice to have something else than Christmas food finally :) Made me think of an idea for Project 365 next year. I never manage to last more than a week, but I thought it would be fun if I took a photo of the dinner every day. It would be fun to see at the end of the year. (and I might be eating more veggies to make me look good when I show of the photos LOL)

All my boxes of papers are sorted, now the top of the table has 8 piles on it- yikes. Jacqueline- happy to hear your brother will be coming home soon. So I have tried for years to have a functional home office space. Where do you have yours- mine was in the basement (not functional) moved to the kitchen- no desk- not functional. Now is in my son's bedroom- but if I want to use that space as a guest room- not functional. I am thinking back in the kitchen with a desk and file cabinet. Any ideas of what works for you?

HI ladies.....seems this week I am not having any time during the day....

Chris..........uuuhhmmm.....yeah...right now I am definately "in the know" about the toys 3 days after Christmas!!! OMG!!! DEJAVU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fran.....I always loved busy days when I was working.....now I like it when it's more quiet....imagine that with all these kids!! HAHA!!! I love your Avi sweetie...it's beautiful colors and the gorgeous ladies!!! ;)

Phylis...BWAHAHAHAHA!!! I love your way of handling things!!! I do the same thing at times.....THERE'S THE FRIDGE....FIND WHAT YOU LIKE AND HERE IS THE MICROWAVE TO HEAT IT WITH!!!

Laurie...I am jealous of your cleaning....I want to get back to mine so badly.....I am hoping when Mike is home we can tackle it together....then lots of painting and small household jobs for him to do!! I don't have a functional office either....my piles get moved from kitchen...to bedroom, to other bedroom...to kitchen....well you know the drill!!

Hugs J........glad your brother is going home and I hope he continues to recover....I hope you get your mojo back quickly...mine is not as active...but guess it's been replaced by dealing with these children all the time.

Eva......I hope you get to stick with the 365.....I have never even tried...know I can't do it...I tried 52 last year and it didn't get done...I do take photos most days, seems it would be easy for me....it's just not though. The dinner photos sound like a great idea...you could scrap them with recipes....

Well..............Mike and I are going make the dive and buy us some Kindle Fires......our Christmas presents...we always do it after Christmas....he has spent the day on the computer looking at all the information and what we can do with them and what the costs for downloading and such will be....I think we will be happy with these....

Well.....guess I will get off this computer....we are watching Monday Night Raw (wrestling)......BOYS will be BOYS...I was used to always having girls!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I like all the music myself....and some of those really nice boys look sooooooooo "pretty" on there...BWAHAHAHAHA!!!!

Linda did the link this time and was able to see the pictures.....what a bunch of cutie pies!!!!!! Love seeing those smiling faces.....

Hello ladies! I just wanted to check in and let all of you know that I'm still alive. :-)

It has been a crazy few months. Sydney was in the hospital in October. Then in November she was back in the ER...got her finger slammed in a door at school...broke the finger and needed 10 stitches. I was beginning to feel that there was a black cloud hanging over my head.

We made it through our first Thanksgiving and Christmas without Mom. Dad and I finally got the headstone picked out so it will be in before Memorial Day. I've been off of work for 7 days and don't go back until next Tuesday. The time off has helped...I'm starting to feel rested.

Haven't scrapped in months...crazy, I know. I think of so many of you so often. Hope that life is going well and that you had Merry Christmas' all around. I'll try to check in now and again. Hope you all have a very happy 2012!
