It's here!!- the beginnings of my kooky fam's two-day holiday.
I guess in a way, it began already celebrating with my friends last night. Such a good feeling being wth people you love like family. I miss having them across the street but I love their new house and all that good stuff.
Caitlyn and Dani had me and Debbie laughing and rolling our eyes. They both ended up in similar careers. Dani is an Academic Coach in a FL Community college, while Cait is an Academic Advisor in a 4-year school. Other than that, the annoyances about students and administration seemed exactly the same.
Then Dani's younger brother came home from work, and the poor guy--he had two big sisters fussing over him. He went through a breakup with his GF of 4 years, and both of the girls were quizzing/consoling/cheering him up.
Tom offered to pick us up so there was no need to get an Uber. We didn't get home until midnight. Waaaaay past my bedtime LOL!
I woke up at 5.30 but was able to stay in bed for another hour. I have a long day/evening ahead of me today and then a chock-full day of chaos tomorrow.
In a way, I am relieved that we had to cancel Jaida's appt yesterday so I had a little extra time. (Flip side: She isn't cleared to go off-leash for bathroom breaks, so we will be trucking out in the snow a little longer.)

Definitely a PJ day for me and maybe soup and crackers. <<sigh>> Think I will spend the day resting. The pumpkin pie will have to wait to be made when the tummy is feeling better. So glad I managed to get 1 Color Play LO preview done before this hit me.
