The Loopy-O
CHEERY O
Hey hey heyyyyy!!!!
How is my O-Fam this morning/afternon/evening? I hope that everyone is doing great and enjoying the last week before the holidays. Its crazy how fast time is moving, right?

Gary's appt went "well." I know, its so crazy to explain how someone who feels sicker and sicker is having a good appt. But he is getting more and more positive tests results, which means the meds are working and the immune system is reacting. His Bartonella bands were even higher than they were last month so the IV doxy is def. working. She also has this crazy way of tracking his symtoms and correlates them with what meds he is one. He prints out sheets of daily symptom charts that he rates on a scale of 1-10. She starts marking them up with when he starts a med or changes it and can tell wheat med is causing what flare that is connected to which infection. He had ben getting this ice pick style pains from behind his eye, down through his cheek to his nose. That's a neuralgia from a nerve in his brain and she was able to connect that right to the doxy.

She was pleased too. She even said that for years she would feel like nothing that she did was helping, and she was happy to see some results finally. So are we!!! He is loaded with toxins though and now I have to find out where to buy chlorella? I don't think I'll find that at the grocery store.

So that was the good news. Bad news is that my car is making that same weird noise that was supposedly fixed over the summer. Gary's car's muffler is hanging off and Scott's car needs a starter. UGH!!!!!
I got 2 $50 Christmas bonuses from clients and I was hoping to put it away to get my hair done, now it looks like it might have to go to the cars. Bummer!!!

I'll deal with it all on 12-22-12 like Eva- when we know if we survived the end of the world.

WWW
I wish that everyone is the world was happy and healthy and had no worries about money. And loved. The world would be a much nicer place then. :hippie:

Laurie- so the bathroom pitstops must have been a PITA (no pun intended LOL) but I bet it was worth it!!!

Phyllis- how is your eyes/head today? Hope you are feeling a bit better every day. It must have been so hard to step down from Anna's team. Sometimes I feel like with my crazy-life, I should step down as Cheery O, but it is my only source of sanity many days.
Thank you for your support in the Lanza post. I feel that if what I say helps that one person, or opens the eyes of someone witnessing/living through the craziness, its worth it. That period of time, before gary was dx-ed and then misdiagnosed was the scariest years of my life. The connections between Lyme and psychiatric/neurological issues is so strong but mainly unknown to the general public. it alsoo put the lyme patient in a dangerous spot as well. Before Thanksgiving, Gary had another 2 days of rage/depression episodes. At one point he passed out and I had to quickly figure out if I should call 911 and risk a commitment or if he was going to pull through ok. Thankfully he was only out for a few seconds, but its scary knowing that the understanding of so many different forms and causes of mental disorders are misunderstood even *in* the psych profession.

Oops, there goes the soapboxing again.......

Linda S- ugh, what a crazy day on such crappy sleep! Hope that you made it through ok. Did you sleep better last night? How many days til Maui???? Can i come too????

Nana- I don't know how you do it all, truly. You are a goddess!!!! Hugs to you and to mom!!!

Eva- feel better! We have the colds going through the house here too. Must be that time of year! Feel better.

Terry *wrapping you in hugs* Even though I am not religious, I am always a bit envious and in awe of the comfort and strength you get from prayer. That makes my heart happy. Hoping that gets your through another day. And ITA!! Good for you to get out and get a change of scenery!!!

Trudy-- oooooh, if Linda can't take me to Maui can you bring me along on your vaca??? :D

Nancy- your dinner sounds like it was so much fun!!! And seriously, this grey cold and damp weather in NJ has got to go!

xoxoxo to everyone!

Good morning ladies!

Chris, such good news about Gary. I hope it was an encouragement to him. Sorry about the cars.

Terry, hope that the prayer vigil brought a sense of healing! And good idea to get away!

Nana Linda, glad that your mom is doing better.

Trudy, I love Puerto Vallarta. We have been there twice and were seriously considering that as a vacation destination again this winter. However, when the good deal came through on Maui, we couldn't resist!

Busy day at work, big snowstorm coming, ah...but Christmas is coming too! Can't wait!

lOve the O!
Morning O fam- y'day I made it to work- breakfast settled me- it was such a good day that I got out at my scheduled end of work day with all my work done! On the not so bright side I got a txt from a friend saying to add our Ken to our prayer list- my MMG is Ken and for a brief moment I thought why are we praying for my husband- but it was a friend of ours- they were at our mini dance party- they thought he had a heart attack on Thursday and yday he had a heart cath, which showed great heart so now they think it is a bacterial infec. His wife is a nurse. The other possible yuck is my co-worker who works longer than I to get stuff done after hours husband may loose his job today. He stopped in saying he had emptied his locker just in case.

On the bright side- cause there has to be a bright side- I worked on wrapping gifts for the family we are sponsering, did some laundry and started to coat those dang peanut butter balls! I woke up and thought I just wish I could skip my workout and wouldn't let myself- arghhh!

Oh and today I get to give the double wrapped box of horse ornaments away- I am Santa Laurie today!! Have a wonderful wednesday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! speaking of !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! do we know if Jen had her baby yet?????????????????????

Good morning the sun is out today in NJ. Yea! I have decided to try and do a Dec daily album. So far so good. Mine is not a traditional album as with no little kids not truly a Christmas album but I am liking that it shows my days.

Chris so glad for your good news from the Doctor's visit

Hope all of you have a great Wednesday!

Well--it's Wednesday! Hmm.....it's is going to be a hot day here--expected to reach 85-87 today and then a cold front come through and the temps will drop by 20-25 degrees.

work today--what else is new. Actually, since it is going to be so nice, I think I'm going to check and see if my golfing buddy is available and head to the course this afternoon. I'll be working out of town tomorrow and Friday and have a meeting that will last until 10PM on Thursday---might as well take this afternoon off, right!

Chris--so glad Gary's appt. went well. I really am amazed at how well you juggle everything! That's the pits with the cars--seems like it is always something.

Laurie--I'm so impressed with your dedication to working out. I fell off the wagon--although, I still walk 4 days a week. Planning on hitting the gym after the first of the year. I'll keep your friends in prayer--speedy recovery and a job.

Linda--take some time for yourself today! You are getting snow and I'm sweating here.

Phyllis--hope your are feeling better soon.

Nana--you are one busy lady. I get tired just reading your posts!

Eva--glad you are feeling better. My hubby is sick now---he's such a baby when he is sick. Hope I don't catch it!

Nancy--sounds like dinner and the music was fun! I remember as a child we used to go caroling in the neighborhood. Don't see much of that now.

Trudy--sounds like heaven--the next two days off. Enjoy!

Guess I better get to work--especially if I'm thinking of taking off early.

Well.....I got SOME presents wrapped yesterday...so today..I HAVE TO FINISH...fortunately...I have a full school day instead of half like I thought...so I have until 2:30 today ............... Oh don't let me get sidetracked!!! :pound:
Last night was Jesse's Kindergarten Christmas Concert....OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO...what a fabulous concert!! I have to give MAJOR MAJOR props to that music teacher...He managed to get 3 Kindergarten classes of 5-6 yo (over 50 students) to stand, and sing and play their little instruments in sync and loud together!! IT WAS SO GOOD...I have been to a lot of programs by little kids before (my kids, Cameran, the other grand children in TN) and NONE were put together so well!!! It so warmed my heart last night!!

You know through all the BUSINESS..........I still have not taken the kids to see Santa yet........YIIIIIIIIIIIIIKES!!! gotta fit that in somewhere...

and ladies....I am no super woman...you should see me running around forgetting things constantly!! my scrapping and scrap duties are sorely lacking...and POOR MIKE!! he is getting the worst end of this situation...he is sadly getting no attention from me...it was fine while he was hunting...but he is feeling a little left out at the moment....NOT TO MENTION...to keep my nerves settled...I am eating tooooooooooooooo much!! NOT GOOD!!!! and all the running..we are doing a lot of fast food...NOT GOOD!!!! I was looking at my expenses from November and I was thinking "WOW!! I didn't spend that much at the Groc store last month..good job!!" HAHA...then I saw all the MCDONALDS, SUBWAY, and others on there!!! Yeah.....HAHAHAHAHA!!

Well...my dears...I need to be off of here...I really need to get those presents wrapped and I NEED TO MAKE MY JANUARY CHALLENGE!! EEEK!! If I don't get it done today...I may not get it done with all the kids here until the 2nd of Jan!!!!

Any good ideas what excuses we can use after Dec. 21? :pound:

Had the weirdest dream last night. I was at hospital - there was some tests that confused the drs. One test was 1.5 - and the other should be 1.5 too, but it was 5.6! (I have no idea what tests it was though.) Three drs was totally confused over my results, and more tests needed to be done. Chris was there to help me find my way around the hospital. We were sitting in a room waiting for the nurses to come, and we both fell asleep. Then Chris woke up, and noticed everyone had left the hospital. We were all alone. The only thing we found was that there were puke all over the place. Looked like everyone had :puke: everywhere. Chris panicked and we tried to get out of there. We got lost - thanks Chris - your job was to find the way around the hospital! I have no idea if we got out, cuz I woke up.

now ... any good interpretations of that dream? What does my subconcious think of Chris?

...loves her some "O"
Good morning, beautiful O fam!!!!

Wow...I am needing soooooo much more time!!! I have 7 sets of PJs to make, and I've done 2!!! Eeeeeek!! The good news is that the pants don't take so long (3 more pants and 2 gowns to do!) so I'll be done with the pants today! yipeeee!!!

I love this season...but it just goes too fast for me!!! Someone stop time (and I don't mean on the 21st!!! LOL!!!) BTW, speaking of the end of the world, the 21st is actually my 21st anniversary...isn't that funny??? Yep, we got married on the shortest day of the year...

anyway, I better get to sewing...I think I'm going to make a full size quilt for Cora's boyfriend because the one I made for him last May for graduation doesn't cover him up! He's too tall...LOL!! So she's been begging me to make him a big one for his dorm room bed....I cannot turn down my kids!!! :)

love you guys!!! I'm thinking of you daily and praying for all of you!!!

Morning ladies... It couldn't rain harder if it tried today :rain: Its coming down in buckets!!! Wind is blowing and they have cancelled most of the ferry runs going back and forth from the Island to the Mainland. Yikes, maybe the end of the world is at hand LOL! But I am warm and comfy in my home and loving the fact that I do not have to go out in this horrible weather today!

Chris - So glad to hear that some improvement is happening with Gary! He must be so tired of being sick!! You must be so tired of him being sick also! Uggh on the car issues!!! It never seems to end does it? Its always something, sure hope you don't have to spend your bonus money on vehicles, but you gotta have wheels right?

LindaS - Hope you can get things done before the big storm hits you! Drive carefully!! Too bad you are not going to Puerto Vallarta we could have met up perhaps! Now talking about going on a vacation and getting my MG to actually take one are two entirely different things!! So we will see what happens after Christmas, he actually can't get anytime off his new job until January is over so it might be a good time to suggest that we go somewhere for our anniversary in February. Sometimes guilt works :hehe:

Laurie - Glad to hear that your tummy has settled! Good for you for not listening to your evil voice and sticking with your workout, you are my hero!! Sending positive thoughts your way for your friend!! How fun that you get to be Santa today, the best part of Christmas is the giving!!

Nancy - Send some of that sun this way would ya!! We are drowning here :rain:

Terry - Wow warm for you today!! I say take the day off for sure and enjoy a round of golf while you can!!

NanaLinda- Hope you get all the prezzies wrapped today! You are so a superwoman in all of our eyes!! I would hate to see myself in your situation! You think that you forget things!!!! My god sometimes I can't remember what I did 2 seconds earlier!! I would probably forget one of those kids of yours somewhere and not remember til the next day!! :becky: Sure hope you get to take them to see Santa!! Take some pics if you do please!! Perhaps one day you will find time to scrap them? At least you have until 2:30 today to yourself!

Eva - Wow what a crazy dream!! Not sure what all that would mean? Funny that you had Chris along with you in the hospital, too bad she couldn't find the way out of there for you!! All that :puke: ?? Wonder what that means?? Perhaps that is your interpretation of the end of the world? You will have to find a better topic to discuss with Chris next time :becky:

Phylis - hope you are doing better with the eye thing!!

Well I am going to get some breakfast and try to get some pages scrapped. Also thought that perhaps I will make a CD calendar for MG to put in his stocking, then he will have one for his desk at work, what do you think?? Have a great day all my "O" friends!
