The Loopy-O
CHEERY O
Holy moly, holy cow, and holy sheep! :holysheep: Any other "holy _____" you feel the need to add in there, be my guest. I have a big one in my head, but since I am refined and dignified, I won't type it out.
However, I am screaming it in my head. :censored:

One week to go and still so much to do.

After I posted here, feeling pretty positive, the entire day kinda collapsed. It was one of those days when everything was a fight. Just exhausted and stressed. Going into work was the highlight of my day, LOL. I was able to write up one Girl Scout Badge and am almost finished with a second one. I can work on that from home this morning, before I am off to clean for my friend.
I should be close to making up the hours I am losing this Friday and my coworker said that I can do more plans from home if I'd like.

Not much else is happening. I have to find some time to finish baking. I have four more cookies I usually make, but if I can get 1 or 2 of them done, I'm gonna call it game over.

Hope you all have a fab day ahead!

Miss Wavy is at school...she looked so pretty in a white pleated skirt and a red sweater that said "Joy" and a string of fake pearls. She is so pretty says the very biased aunt.
I agree, and I didn't even see Miss Wavy all dressed up! Does she pick out her own outfits? I remember when Cait was her age and insisted on dressing herself. She came up with some wild combinations. On school days, I would set out 2 outfits and she could pick the one she wanted.
It was a good day but exhausting. LOL And first thing Wavy said to me was when will we bake our cookies. I told her we would figure out something. Today's to do list is long...I need to write it down so I can cross things off. Got to get everything ready for going to MN tomorrow. Need to stop at the UHaul store and get paper and bubble wrap and tape, then go to the storage unit to get empty boxes.
If you are looking for an easy no-bake cookie, the haystack ones I made with my HS kids were a hit.
Good luck and have a safe trip to MN today.
But its starting to feel Christmasy now, got the tree up and decorated. Still have about 1/3 of the decoration to put up and honestly, I am not feeling it. Even thought its my favorite stuff, all the snowmen!!! We shall see how it goes. I think lack of snow if making me feel off too. It just doesn't feel like December.
I hate when I'm not feeling it too... I hope the weather cooperates and you can enjoy some snow. (take mine, take all of mine, please)
I also hope the fast did the trick in resetting your body. I am forcing myself to have a big salad with dinner every night because I know by next week I'll be consuming all junk, all of the time.

I was walking on the side of the trail -- which I always complain about people doing -- just to keep upright in places.
Uh huh!! BTDT!
LOL-ing at the disgruntled men and the no chainsaw rule.
Such a fun pic of you-- Happy Birthday!!!! :birthaydog:
Have a wonderful trip to WA! I hope that they aren't in the area that is getting the flooding (Sorry, I know thatWA is a huge state and I don't have any concept of the geography there)
Late getting in here... again... I slept in until 8:30AM! ! ! ! I didn't read late - only until 9:30PM. Think it maybe because I tossed and turned until 3 AM on Sunday night/Monday morning. I was tired all day yesterday... ended up taking a PJ day and read off and on all day.
I am so happy that you slept late and took a nice, relaxing PJ day. Hope that you slept better last night!

I'm not surprised by the Valentine's stuff being out already! That is aggravating, too! Commercialization!
Right?? And it's not like TJ Maxx is known for having wide aisles and being easy to navigate around the store. Ha-ruuumph!
How is your back feeling today? I was hobbling over for much of the day yesterday. I hope I don't aggravate it by cleaning this afternoon.

Glad you are able to do some work for Weis from home! That will help, hopefully!
Today is another day!

I don't go to TJMaxx too often, but when I do....you are correct! The aisles are way too close!
The back is finally feeling a bit better today! I hope to keep it that way! ;). I hope you don't tweak yours while you are cleaning! Slow and steady will get the job done, too!

Good Morning,
Got a pretty good nights sleep last night after being awakened at 3:41 yesterday, LOL! And the back seems to be better this morning! That means I will be taking it easy today to make sure it stays that way!

Working on packing up some scrapbook pages from the church in WV Tim pastored and sending them with my daughter this weekend to one of the gals who does scrapbooking in that church. For those of you who don't know, before moving to NC to the church Mark and I are still in, Tim pastored in WV going on 12 years. My daughter met and married a young man from the high school she attended there. His mom is there, so they go back to visit quite frequently, especially around the holidays. They are leaving around noon on Friday, so I need to get those books to her before then.

That's about it for me. Didn't find any mojo to do any of the designer challenges yesterday. All I got done was my daily page and scanning. I awoke with another headache but it is subsiding somewhat after taking Tylenol. But I'm not going to Ilene's today since I want to get those scrapbooks packed up for my daughter's trip.

Have a great day!

Good morning. I found my winter coat! It was in the storage unit in a box. I was so sure that I wouldn't have given that coat away. Correct! What I had been using was an all weather coat with a zip in liner and while it was warm, it was so cumbersome! Now I'm totally ready for the rest of winter...and hope I really don't need it again! :rotfl:

I think we are packed...empty boxes, cleaning supplies, bubble wrap, tape, clothes. I'm packing my computer. I really hope that I will have some time to get a few things done.

Continued my fight with Medicare over the Dexcom (CGM). They just can't seem to get it coded correctly. And they won't talk to me. Another call today! I did tell the poor girl at the Dr's office just now that I would normally escalate this to my Senator but the way this country is right now, don't think that will help!:angry4:

Anyway...I'm going to do a real quick in and out with personals. Then pack up this computer so I'll be able to take a few breaks ;) from packing. I'm a big believer in breaks. Brian not so much. Wish us well.

Quick in and out (drive by fruiting)
Hope you all have a wonderful day! Today is our last dinner before the break. That means PIZZA!!!! Word got out about pizza night and man oh man. I love that they love it and love feeding so many but man the work. We have to make 20 pizzas this time, which is fun. The pans are 16"x24" and we will go through almost all 50lbs of flour making the crusts. 300oz of tomato sauce plus seasonings. We spend about 3 hours making crusts, prefacing and then we can assemble, warm/brown them quickly and serve people. We assemble and bake and cut and save all 20 in 20 minutes. Its a crazy process but oh everyone loves it and the smiles and happy faces make it totally worth it! On that note, better get moving. Need to pack my mixer so we can do two doughs at a time. Have a great day!!!

I am here but not up to doing much... Somehow I managed to hurt my right shoulder-blade and it has been hurting for the past two days. Must have been when I hauled in the heavy grocery bags on Monday. I should have taken stuff out of the heaviest one while it was still in the car trunk. I forgot to tell the bagger to not overload the bags but I was distracted making out the check...<sigh> The up-shot is that I can't do much with the right hand/arm without making it hurt more. So this will be a PJ day sitting in the recliner with the massager going. Need to get a small pillow to lay on my lap to hold the book while I read as it makes the shoulder hurt to hand-hold books right now. Or I may stream movies or watch DVDs. (I certainly have enough DVDs... :floorlaugh:)

We're on the way to the airport. Packed up yesterday, put last minute things, like my toothbrush,in this morning, and then weighed it. 58 lbs!! How could that be? I usually pack 35 lbs or so. Granted, I had my winter coat in there but I was pretty sure that didn't weigh 20 lbs. So I started taking things out and seeing what could go in David's suitcase or my backpack, and weighed again, and it was 34 lbs. Obviously either I didn't read the scale correctly the first time or it glitched, because I put everything back in and came up to 38 lbs. Whoosh.

I did get time to finish the last challenge for 12 Days event. I will try to keep caught up on my weekly pages while we're away, because there's always a sale early-mid January for printing the book, but that may or may not happen.

So, off to the friendly skies, as they say.

@faerywings LOL your holy, holy, holy.....holy socks! :ignore1: I'm so happy for you that you had a good day yesterday and that you can do some work at home to make up for your cancelled Friday work. I didn't make any cookies...1. trying loose weight, 2. reducing sugar intake,3. no one to bake with....alone is not fun. I hope you get the baking done that you want to do. Chris I hope you do not hurt your back cleaning.

@LSlycord I am envious of your cookie time with the kids. Glad you found your winter coat...I was thinking of being a wise-ass and saying "what is a winter coat?" but having lived in CT I do know what they are. As I have gotten older I take break but Jay loves long breaks sometimes his break is all day!!! grrr

Today they are putting in our new AC unit in, it's smaller (more $$$) and more efficient. It will have a thermostat we can monitor and change when we are traveling so that will be nice. The smaller unit will give us more space on the sidewalk that goes to the back of the house from the driveway.
I rearranged the shelves in the new refrigerator so it's more organized. I like it much better now.
I'm making sausage & onion soup today so the house smells good. The onions were very sharp and made me cry but they will taste good so it's fine.
Talked to my granddaugher and oldest grandson today. It makes me so happy when they call.

@AK_Tracy I'm really having a hard time getting into Christmas this year too but I think when Kirsten gets here and we put the tree up that will help. I hope you get your Christmas snow--jealous for 1 day and one day only.

@BrightEyes wow staying in PJ's all day....I cannot bring myself to do that unless I am sick or have surgery. I dress every day, do my hair and make up too. Plus I never know who will stop by.

@Terri M Safe travels and have fun with the kids.
