Finally! Social Security day, I wasn't sure I was going to make it this month. Guess what i am doing this morning? Paying bills. Wheeeeee!
I am also scheduled to spent the day finishing as many of the baskets as I can. i am so aggravated. Some of the supplies I needed were supposed to be here yesterday and they never made it. They better be here today or I am gonna be way behind schedule.
My BFF asked me how things were going and I said to her:

I know what you mean about having a bad association. I got car sick once when I was little and I had been drinking grape juice. Can't stand the smell of that stuff ever since then.
Phyllis- any more news? I've been worrying for you about your grandson. Did the shopping get your mind empty?
I'll have to check out that movie, I wonder if it is on Netflix? I love Its a Wonderful Life so that one might be a good recommendation for me.

Maureen- how did Dick do over night? It sounds like he is in very capable and caring hands. Can't ask for more than that. Have a safe trip back home. How is your back and hip?
Trudy- ummm..... is that a compliment about your FIL reminding you of the dad in a Christmas Story? or does your FIl have a potty mouth?? hahahahah!!!

Actually, I need to be honest -- I am pretty much doing "ok"- tree is up, house is decorated, 95% of my shopping is done and 90% of my gifts are wrapped. I have all day tomorrow to work on my baskets which are about 75% percent done. Baking is barely started but I am free this weekend to work on that. See, its not too bad, its just the point of not having anything actually *done* that is making me feel cranky.
That doesn't sound too horrible, right?
