It is so quiet here. The kids would still be sleeping if they were home but knowing they aren't is just strange. They did really good yesterday, I didn't notice any stress-bickering that usually goes in and they made great time getting to the campground.
After they left, I went out to weed a bit. then Gary and watched some TV. We started the series that you mentioned. @tanteva - Unforgotten. Looks good so far!

I also had ACDSee crash on me yet again, and I feel bad for the IT guy that I am harassing. Not really harassing but you could tell how frustrated I am with it.

Not much happening here, off to go food shopping in a bit then I am going to be hanging out with the rats for a while so they don't get lonely.

Eva- I have that same problem, my days feel like forever when I am sitting here doing nothing but being beautiful. :D :p
But I hear ya, I would prefer to be busy than doing nothing.

Hugs to all of you, hope that everyone is great!

Home from work - now I have 12 - TWELVE - days free. Bought tons of snacks & chocolate on the way home. We're going to start on the last season of The 100s tonight (just released on Swedish Netflix). Loved the early seasons, but the 6th season was not so good. But a friend has seen all of last season and says it's really good - we'll see what I think.

@faerywings Cool that you & Gary started on Unforgotten - hope you like it as much as we did. There are 4 seasons, but there was only 3 on the Swedish channel we watched it on. Will try and see if we can find the 4th somewhere later. I really love the actress (Nicola Walker) who plays the lead role, she's so good.

No other plans than going to IKEA on Tuesday ... unless "scrapping, reading, knitting & being lazy" sounds like a plan :D

'Unforgotten' is fantastic! We have been watching it steadily. Lots of twists and turns. We have also been watching 'Janet King' which is turning out great as well.

@faerywings Chris what are you doing ?!?! I'm a little bit pissed off as I expected to see you on the crochet show! I was observing the comments but wasn't able to see you. Why? I was thought you will try to win some yarn and be calm about your Christmas presents?

good evening - yesterday was fun as I went out to dinner with my girlfriends. It had been awhile since we had gotten together. Good food and good friends. Poor Luther still does not want to go out for afternoon walks. I keep asking and I put on his collar and he just goes and lays down. I guess he knows what is best for himself. I wish I had no about those buttons that let dogs speak to you. I am sure that Luther would have figured them out. More scrapping and more reading books. Today was pay bills. More scrapping. Good walk. Now more Olympics!

@faerywings Chris good for the kids to get away. Camping at that age is fun! Now I would need a cabin with a bed or a trailer/camper. My body needs something to sleep on. My girlfriends are now retired and one is now an empty nester. Not only is her daughter now married in her own house but she took all the pets. So she says it is so quiet.

@tanteva Eva have a great 12 days off! Enjoy the Netflix series and all the goodies, especially the chocolate.

@Kythe Kythe thanks for the recommendations of shows to binge. I am waiting until Olympics are over and they I will be Ted Lasso season 2. I love this show!

@felis felis I hope you won lots of yarn. Have fun creating!

Good evening all. Finally got a minute to check in. More company here - for 8 more days. LOL We all decided that coming out to visit us was like "Trains, Planes & Automobiles". Hahaha it's not easy. Steph and Asher got home safely - tonight. They had a lot of rain while they were gone! Everything was flooded. She got some awesome pictures, though, for me to scrap. Everybody is always thinking "take pictures" for mom/etc. to use.

Felis, @felis this will make you happy. Sam is going outside now. He darted out every time we let the dogs out, so last week, we just let him go. He stays right here (just like you said he would) and he meows at the door when he's ready to come back in. We were told not to let him out, but oh well, he's our cat now. I was afraid he'd run away, but he just hangs around in the yard or on the front porch or on the back deck. I hate to admit it, but he's been a LOT calmer since he started going out.

Chris, I hope you get your ACDsee fixed soon! I don't even know what it is, but it's how you create your layouts, so it has to be so frustrating for you! Sounds like it's pretty quiet at your house right now.

Waving hi to all - Nancy, @nancyr good for you to get out with your girlfriends! I wish I had some to go to lunch with. I know nobody here and based on where we live, I probably won't.

Good night all.

Hi, girls!
I'm sorry that I'm not able to be around this month but I'm take additional work covering co workers that are on vacation. It's very exhausting, but I needs these extra money! Also I'm using every free time to crochet.

Nancy, aww you're so sweet! No I didn't join at the crochet event as it was necessary to talk on the camera and I really hate my accent :D. But I was the second person she mentioned.
Ohh poor Luther! But he still go on one walk at day or?

Cheryl, I make a happy dance because I have the chance to say: ''I told you!''. I'm a cat foster mom with more than 15 years experience and 12 cats at any moment last 5 years ;). I just know some things about the cat nature. I understand your worries, but cats are predators with really good capability to take care for themselves. I don't think he will put himself at risk facing wild animals as dogs unfortunately do.

Eva, enjoy your free time, it's sounds lovely!

Yes, my dear Felis, you were right. I've had some experience with cats, but not nearly like you have. I was so afraid because of the deep woods around us, but like you said, they're predators and can fend for themselves. He just loves to go out. I told my husband that possibly the Humane Society didn't know he wasn't really an indoor cat. Anyway, we're so glad we took the risk and tried it. Hugs to you.
