Good morning and a happy Wednesday!
Today feels like Fall for a lot of reasons. Yesterday was so cold and rainy. Today, Caitlyn goes back to school. Leah's mom asked me about going Apple Picking this weekend.
Where did summer go? :gaah:
We had a fun time out and about yesterday. We went to lunch at a Kosher Deli. I had french toast made with Challah bread which was really good. Then we went to the bakery which was quite an experience. You get to go into the back part of the bakery where the bread is made. There are conveyor belts with the baked breads and bagels coming off of them and the workers are rolling out carts of hot bread. It smelled amazing!! (My stomach is grumbling just thinking about it!) You grab a paper bag and walk around and get to pick the breads you want. I got some warm bagels, NY style pretzels, and Italian bread. Then we went into the pastry part of the bakery and got some of their famous crumb cake and almond horns.
We ended up having scrambled eggs and bagels for dinner.
Today I am going to try to start the last LO for the MoS Challenge- it is going to be difficult, I don't even have an idea of where to begin. Then I am cleaning for my neighbor and if everything works out, ice cream with BFFATS with her DD, it has been a back to school tradition since they were in Preschool together. We have skipped years, especially when they were in HS, but we still try when we can.
Still sending good thoughts to TX and LA. Sharon, I hope that you and your family are ok.
xoxo!
