GoOd mOrning! Are the Ooos all doing well? I hope that everyone had a nice day and a great night's sleep. I had a busy day. I usually can only do one thing/event a day or I get too pooped out. But yesterday, I went food shopping, to the lake, *and* I cooked dinner. Damn!
On the flip side, there were things that I wanted to do but forgot about them since I didn't write anything down. Thoughts flying out of my head ~> :hippie:
I was so flustered at the supermarket when I went to pick up Gary's insulin. I was expecting to pay $47/bottle but it rang up at $96. I only had the $47 in cash, didn't have enough in the checkbook, and then I freak out a bit when I have to put everything on the credit card. When I got home, Gary had to call the insurance company and he found out that they have been billing him wrong since January. :frusty:
Not entirely sure how that will get fixed but hopefully it will get straightened out quickly.
The lake was nice- the sun was strong but there was a nice breeze on occasion and we sit right at the edge of the water. Read a bit more of my book. I cooked yummy grilled veggie wraps for dinner and then crashed.

Today, I am off to clean for my friend and then I want to work on the Shape Shifter Challenge. I think this one will be easier for me to do- maybe??- but I haven't been able to pull any ideas together so far. I am really *not* used to using more than one photo on a page.

That is about it, wishing you a happy, happy day!

Trudy- how was the visit with your family? Hope that you had a really wonderful time with them. You have been so lucky to be around them all since you have been home.
How long will your niece in Ca?
One of the things that is both good and hard is trying to find the right elements/papers-- and alphas for this week! to finish these challenges. When I scrap Los here, I have a bunch of go-to's but this has made me search all over the place for the right kind of designs. Thanks, fo the sweet words about the jaida and her leaf LO. Almost all of the comments from O members said they knew it was my page b/c of her LOL

Jean- thank you again for the shadow tip! Hope you had a fun time with the music group.

Rae- oh no!! Poor Taz!!!! Ray is like that too, starts to shake even when we talk "dramatically." Maybe he will get used to the carbonation noise if he hears it often enough.
hahaha!! I have to laugh at Darrell's "not human" comment. It is either laugh or cry, right? :pound:

HAGD!!!xoxoxo!

Morning ladies, up early with DH and made him poached eggs on toast for his breakfast, he loves when I cook his breakfast. He usually only has a bowl of cereal every morning, so it is always a treat when I get up with him. SIL Linda and I are meeting up today and spending some time at MIL's and FIL's as it is her birthday today. It should be a nice time, but I am starting to feel like I am never at home anymore LOL! Trying to get at least one page done for the MOS, hopefully I can get these ones done soon. At some point I need to get a few groceries too. Had a wonderful visit with my cousin Blair and his wife Tammy, such a great couple and we did a lot of reminiscing! Then so great to see my beautiful niece Nicci and her two kids Sayla and Rhodes. Still funny to hear her talk with an Aussie accent and the kids too, funny but my nephew Jordan (her brother) does not have an accent at all. My brother and sister in law are tired  keeping the kids busy and being on the dock swimming and then making snacks and meals for everyone is exhausting :becky: But they are in heaven to have them all home with them!

Chris - A good day for you yesterday!! You got lots done and did some great cooking too! How frustrating to have more troubles with the billing of meds!! I don't know how you keep it together :gaah: Yes finding the right products to use is going to be the hardest part of this Traditional Scrapping Challenge. So this morning I am going to go through my extensive stash of products, it will probably take longer than actually scrapping the page LOL.

Jean - Looking forward to seeing your shadow layouts! I was really surprised when I saw the shadows all around the outside of our house the day of the eclipse ! Hope that the music gig was fun!

Rae - So much work for you and it must be hard to try to think of something to make for dinner too! I saw your thread for quick and easy meals. I made chicken breasts covered in a mayo/parm mixture baked at 425 for 20 mins and some broccoli and cauliflower steamed. Quick and easy peasy maybe not exciting but keto friendly and fast. I popped a potato in the microwave and served that up for DH to have with sour cream and bacon bits. Tonight it will be burgers though as I am gone again all day today.

Nancy - are you on your way back home again!! Hope you had fun on your little vacation!

Ok I better hit the shower and then think of something to pack for a lunch on the beach today. Have a great day everyone

Good morning, ladies. Got Taz off to daycare for the day. I will enjoy a quiet house and hope to get tons of work done and then at lunch time will start to work on at least one of the MOS challenges. I got a call from the store and they got in some rosewood essential oil (apparently it is scarce and hard to get around here lately) so she put a bottle aside for me. I've been really happy with my EO toner and face oil I've blended so am excited to add in some rosewood oil. My skin has definitely been feeling softer.

Chris - I had grilled veggies last night too but added in chunks of kielbasa. I did a bit of reading yesterday morning and am really getting into Lilac Girls.

Trudy - Sounds like a great day and enjoy more family time today. I too need to look thru my stash and photos today to get started on the MOS challenges for this week.

Nancy - did you get photos of the eclipse? Hope you had a good trip.

I'm getting to work now. The plan is to work hard this morning and then at lunchtime get started on my MOS pages. Have a great day, everyone.

Where did the day go? Well, I'm finally here. DH's music group played (a sing-along) for a luncheon for Meals on Wheels volunteers yesterday and it was very fun. The group has been growing and three of the eight who played yesterday I had not met before. One turns out to be another retired COBOL programmer so she was especially fun to talk to. And I think they sounded really good. I just did a two-page on their spring outing, but have time to get a LO done for this one.

Chris, sure hope the billing error gets cleared up fast! It is always something. Hope you feel OK after cleaning today. I'm in awe of all of you doing the MoS challenges.

Trudy, for sure it sounds like you're on the go a lot these days! But having a good time and being with family. Hope today will be another good one.

Rae, know you're getting tons done and enjoying the quiet house. Poor Taz with the carbonation noise, I do hope he gets used to it.

Nancy, we all want to hear all about your trip to the eclipse. Hope your knee is holding up.

Cheers, everyone!
