So... best-laid plans got a bit off track with me. I really had the best intentions to get my act together, I really did. I did ok food shopping even though I didn't actually buy food for meals. I did a few things around the house and yes! I scrapped a page for the 52 Inspirations Challenge. But desk work? Clean the office? That didn't happen. pfft.
All of that will get put onto my to-do list for today. I keep racking stuff up.

Gary made homemade pizzas last night and he used an eggplant from the garden on top. Why do foods that you grow yourself seem to taste better? I really notice a difference when I wash the cukes or zucchini. You can feel that the skin isn't waxy but the taste seems so much better too.

A boring day ahead... paying bills this morning, cleaning my office and filing, then off to clean in the afternoon. Then I have to figure out WTH I am making for dinner. UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Who has ideas for me?

have a fab day, O-Fam!

Kay- nice to see you pop in! I was a bit concerned that your mood had slipped again. How was the Red Hat lunch? Good luck with the investment planner today. That is a good deal to get the printer cartridges on base if you are already there. Hope that the printer works out.

Nancy- LOL so funny that you put off inspection so you could watch classic hockey games. We got a bit of rain and it was timed perfectly while I was inside the grocery store and stopped when I was done. I bet you had a great time at dinner, you always do.

Karen- have a fun cruise!! I am looking forward to seeing your photos and LOs when you get back.

Rae- so wonderful to see you too!! I always love seeing your LOs on FB as well. Bailey looks very happy in them. And Taz- well, he is a little cutie all the time. I hope that you have a bit more time to pop in here, we miss you lots!

xoxo to everyone.

Trudy- I know that you are having a blast but we miss you too!

good morning - had an awesome day of watching hockey. Then a great dinner with my girlfriend and her daughter. She daughter is so grown up and is just the wonderful kind of woman I love seeing today. Independent and educated and yet so caring. She is a teacher and loves her kids. Got my photos uploaded and ordered from PersnickedyPrints. I only ordered one batch as I am not sure how they will turn out. If good I can then order more for the rest of the family. Today I am off to the grocery store. My DH left me a huge list. Oh well must get it over with. Then I can begin scrapping just random events.

Chris best laid plans some times just don't work out. And yes I am sure home grown veggies always taste best! That is an interesting topping for a pizza.

Kay so how was the luncheon? you always seem so organized with your shopping and where to get the best deals, always impresses me.

Karen have fun on the cruise!

Ray so good of you to pop in. Glad you are busy and happy! I do love seeing your bird photos on Facebook.

Yes, it is me... here before the day gets hectic!
I needed to scan in a flyer but the printer/scanner wouldn't work right. Tried to copy it and got mostly blank paper!!! GRRRRR!!! Tried to print out a page and nada!!! So that means I really need to buy a new printer! The scanner is an absolutely MUST HAVE as I still have photos that need to be scanned into the computer. So that is on my list of things to do today.

Had a great time at the Red Hat lunch yesterday. We had so much fun catching up on the news and being together. After that, I made a quick stop at another near-by restaurant to make reservations for next month's chapter lunch and Birthday celebration. Our chapter will be 16 years old on 9/11.

Just found out this week that New Mexico will be the state that provides the National Christmas Tree in DC this year. They need ornaments made for it plus 70 other trees in and around the capitol. Met with some crafters last evening who are working on them as our RH chapter wants to make some. Only have a month left to get them done.

So yesterday was busy non-stop all day. Looks like today will be the same. At least my mood is improving since August is here. So much is going on... DGD and family will be moving to Arizona the end of Aug as her hubby finally got a promotion and transfer there. They made a quick trip out there last weekend and found a place to rent. I hate to see them go but her hubby's job here was going away by the end of October as the company is closing this site down.

Chris, I do understand having a list of 'to do's" and not getting many of them done. I agree... food from your own garden taste so much better as they are fresher than store bought. I would never have thought of putting eggplant on pizza!!! Bet it taste good. Hope you can get a few of those chores done today.

Karen, know you will have a wonderful time on your cruise. Can't wait to see the photos once you are back.

Nancy... what a fun time you must have spending the day watching your favorite hockey team's games.

Well, must get dressed and get started on a few things here before I am off and running.
