So do I comment on the rainy weather or freak out about it being August to start this thread?
It is a rainy first day of August!!!!!! :fear: (how was that?)
It is all good, however-- we were supposed to get rain all day yesterday but it was gorgeous. So it balances out.
I have no idea of what I accomplished yesterday. I survived food shopping. Check. The vet appointment went better than we expected. Check. Cooked dinner. Check. So that was basically my day.
The vet said that Muffin, in spite of the tumor was doing well. Clover, she said, looked good considering how large the tumors are. Said that her weight was good, that she seemed happy and active. Those would be the types of things she looks for in quality of life concerns. We were able to get the information for the Emergency Exotic Pet Vet office and an Rx for pain meds if they decline while Caitlyn is away. We know what to look for if Clove's skin become necrotic or her intestines become blocked. But at this moment in time, she is holding her own.
Today, I am meeting my BFF for coffee. Looking forward to catching up with her. Both of her kids will be away at college in a few weeks which is going to be a hard adjustment. I cannot imagine
I am driving BFFATS to pick up her car in the shop and then I am going to go to TJ MAXX in town to see if I can find a pair of sneakers since both of my pairs are years old and have no support left in them.
In between all of that I am going to have to try and stay dry :rain:
have a fantastic day!
