So do I comment on the rainy weather or freak out about it being August to start this thread?
It is a rainy first day of August!!!!!! :fear: (how was that?)

It is all good, however-- we were supposed to get rain all day yesterday but it was gorgeous. So it balances out.

I have no idea of what I accomplished yesterday. I survived food shopping. Check. The vet appointment went better than we expected. Check. Cooked dinner. Check. So that was basically my day.

The vet said that Muffin, in spite of the tumor was doing well. Clover, she said, looked good considering how large the tumors are. Said that her weight was good, that she seemed happy and active. Those would be the types of things she looks for in quality of life concerns. We were able to get the information for the Emergency Exotic Pet Vet office and an Rx for pain meds if they decline while Caitlyn is away. We know what to look for if Clove's skin become necrotic or her intestines become blocked. But at this moment in time, she is holding her own.

Today, I am meeting my BFF for coffee. Looking forward to catching up with her. Both of her kids will be away at college in a few weeks which is going to be a hard adjustment. I cannot imagine :(

I am driving BFFATS to pick up her car in the shop and then I am going to go to TJ MAXX in town to see if I can find a pair of sneakers since both of my pairs are years old and have no support left in them.

In between all of that I am going to have to try and stay dry :rain:
have a fantastic day!

Rae- D's birthday dinner sounds yummy, glad that he had a nice day. Those vinegars sound really good and you are lucky to have the farm close to you when you run out.
I hope that your visit with B was a relaxing/comfortable one.

Jean- The two rats are hysterical how they still get around and climb even with tumors. Muffin was climbing up the ladder to the second story and couldn't get the tumor over the top. (Her tumor is not attached and is squishy so it kind of hangs in her armpit.) Instead of climbing back down, she took her back foot and kicked it over the top of the ladder. :pound:
I wish I could have seen it with my own eyes, but hearing Cait tell the story had me LMBO!
The kids go back to school on Sept 5 (I think-- it is 2 days after Labor Day.) so soon, but not too soon, especially since they don't have to move in anywhere.

Thank you for sharing your kind thoughts with Felis. FWIW- the Cheery Os are having an adjustment to the rules/PM-ing members too. :D

good morning - yesterday was busy as I have decided that having my legs waxed it total fun so that chore was done, then went to pet store for Luther treats and then came back and walked Luther. Mailed of bills and then made dinner. And now today I am getting my hair cut and colored and I cant wait. Then on Friday I am getting blood drawn for my physical. Whew. And in-between I have to finish up laundry and making sure I have all my electronics ready for our vacation. My youngest son has been doing research on how he wants to remember the trip and yesterday his first package arrived and it is so he can video the trip. It is pretty cool stuff. And today he is expecting little lens for the iPhone. I am glad he has found some fun stuff to keep him busy on the trip. Ugg it has just started to pour rain and I have to leave in a new minutes. Good thing I got my new umbrella and water proof jacket. Always a shame to get your hair done and have it ruined by the rain. I really hate rain!

Chris I too cant believe it is Aug 1. Where did July go? I think the lack of sun makes me feel like it is not summer enough. Glad you made it through the store shopping and glad the rats are doing well. I am sure it was good for both you and Cait so that she won't be worrying during her time away and you won't be stressing about them. Glad you got your walk in. Have fun with you Bff.

Rae glad you are doing well. Your birthday dinner for your hubby sounds so fun!

Jean good luck with the eye dilation. Not my fav. But have to keep on top of our eyes.

Glad to read the challenges are listening to the posters. Felis hang in there!

Have a great day all!

Good morning, ladies. Got my inspiration challenge done yesterday. I don't feel motivated to scrap or have much time these days but I have to say, I really did enjoy having some scrapping time. I really want to make a bit of time to get at few pages done here and there, if I can.

We are waiting to hear from the MLA's office, they said probably late this week or next week so we are trying to be patient. I hope they have an idea of where B might get placed. The hospital room is so confining and I don't think it is conducive to being calm and peaceful if she is kept indoors under fluorescent lights 24/7. She gets no exercise, no walking except around her room and hasn't felt fresh air in 5 mths. There has to be somewhere better for her.

Today Taz is at daycare, I've got chores and work to keep me busy all day.

Chris - enjoy some time with your BFF.

Nancy - what lens did your son get for the iPhone? Enjoy getting your haircut/color, that always feels good!

Jean, Felis, Trudy, everyone else....hope all is well.

I'm getting to work now. Have a good day!

It is a rainy first day of August! We get rain all day but it was gorgeous! Even if it sounds you familiar ;) that's the truth. For any cases, I checked do I'm not messed the calendar page, but not unfortunately it isn't April, although this weather fits more to it.
My morning gives awesome start of the month. I made one funny page which to use as a wallpaper on my cell phone. And then one of my favorite singers was left small teaser to his new track at Instagram. OMG this song opened a hole in my soul and I wanted to cry and cry, but in nice way, you knows that feeling! So gorgeous in rainy morning.
The rest part of the day was just boring. I stalked one frame between the rain and washed one carpet at the yard. Not the best time to do that, but I procrastinated it too long. I have so many more important things for the life in my head right now, but I have to considering carefully what part I can share public, so better to left it for the next days.

Thank you all, for the kind words and the support! I know I always can to rely on you and that's mean so much for me!!! I'm not afraid to ask, BUT of course there is no way to know that I'm misunderstood something, before to lose 3 hours of my life scraping and to take the photo specially for this kit. It's not like to not understand and to continue to do it deliberately.

Chris, your beginning of the month sounds good! Hope it's continue in this way! So sneakers are sport shoes not candy bar, if I'm got it right?! Did you find some to like? I would like one chocolate bar right now :D :choclove Have a fun with your BF!
Sorry to hear that was too cold for the lake! Oh, it's maybe not impressive lake for you, but we aren't see it, so it sounds pretty cool for scrap subject to me. Fingers crossed all to stay fine with the kiddos till Caitlyn is away! She should not feel regrets or doubts, tell her just to go and have fun. My mom always murmuring me that if I always stay here and skip vacations, it's like I attract the worst situations, instead to stay cool and give them positive vibes. Great idea to go to the vet, so you have all the info.

Nancy, hope you skip the rain and liked the results from new hairstyle! Do you want one small idea for the trip, make a playlist! You don't want to be stuck on some station/airport with only the local radio on your phone.

Rae, fingers crossed for good news from MLA's office!

Jean, I hope that the eye exam went well! Do you have some changes?! I feel I have to do it too, but procrastinate it from some times.

Trudy  .
