Happy Wednesday!
How is everyone doing? Tired and queit here, but my bedroom is now officially spackle-free. Dad and I got all of the ceiling and walls painted. Now I just have to go back and do the trim/baseboards, stream clean the carpets and it will be good as new. It wasn't all that nice when it was "new" but it will be a huge improvement, for sure.

So so sorry that I didn't make it back, but it was a long day, and I was beat. Today will be another long one. But the end will be good- cleaning for my BFF while she is at work, then coffee and talk when she gets home.

Both of my kids are working on fundraisers for the girl in the hospital. They both went to their respective principals, gave them the info and will be working with the schools to do this. They are are having a meeting here on Sat to work out details, delegate, the whole deal. I told them I would do a tray of ziti, brownies, whatever they needed.

I love seeing how kind and compassionate they are- growing up very well if I do say so. I might not have a lot of money and 'things", but I am so blessed in what really counts- my family. And my O-fam, of course!!!

I want warm and dry weather so I can finally clean up my yard.
I want to be able to clean today and not get too tired.
I wish that the kids of my town are surrounded by love and peace today and that the funeral service brings people closer together.
I wish for peace for Eric's family.
 
morning- it is going to be warm today- well- 60's hoping to get into my flowerbeds tomorrow- I need some outdoor time! I see my daffodils need the dead stuff around them moved!

Nah, I am usually in bed a bit before 9, read for a bit, then out by 9;30. But yes, by my bedtime I am so ready for it!!

83*!!!! That is a gorgeous day! Sorry that the t-storms came in. We got into the 50*'s then back down to 39* yesterday. How are things with yu? Slowly but surely calming down? Hope so!

Meg- another migraine? poor thing..... I haven't had one in a looooong time and I want to keep it that way. How is your G-pa doing?

Clara- ack! That souhnds stressful, trying to plan a wedding on that small amount. i am sure is your sis googled budget wedding plannign she'll find good stuff. Bet you are very glad to be on the East coast for now ;)

Kristy- our dirt is almost all rocks..... I hear ya on how hard it is to garden in that.

Meg- asthma? No way! That is great news!

Laurie- hi!! Hope you get get int he dirt today too. I really need to save my plants from the dead leaves. I pulled some away the other day and the lilies coming up were all that yellow, sickly color.

Today - 21 years ago I met my husband. And today - 17 years ago we got married. Might have to come up with something to celebrate that LOL

I should be scrapping today, but I got caught on this site (might offend if you are easily offended - some language), and I'm sitting here laughing myself to death. This is soooo my twisted sense of humour.
 
Ah, it's 10pm here now and we just picked up hubby from the airport a couple of hours ago... he's been away at a conference for 4 days... so very glad to have him back! Looking forward to sharing the load of looking after 2 kids with him now that he's back!
 
yeah once its tilled up tho and it sits for like a year *rolls eyes* it actually gets dried out and really fine...so i have been raking out all the big clumps to the side to do that for next year and have been using garden soil that i buy from home depot LOL maybe next year it wont be as strenuous as it is this year!!

and today...im doing okay kids woke up in horrible moods...i was happy to send their butts out the door

dh is home sick....he even lost his voice WOOHOO haha....

i got quite a bit to do today gotta go in and plate the truck....then go to homedepot or lowes and get more garden soil and some strawberries and some more seeds i THOUGHT i had cucumber seeds...but i guess NOT! haha so i gotta pik me up some of those....and maybe a few other things i got a HUGE garden area to fill LOL


i drove teh truck a little today for the first time i just had to move it so i could get my car out...and its not too bad...not ready to take it into town cause its just so BIG....and i need to get used to turns first LOL....

anyways im a bit talkative today

ohh yeah i almost forgot my computer is running SMOOTH today...i took it out side and blew all the dust out haha...omg its QUIET now....and it started up sooooo fast!!! who knew a little dusting would do the trick!?!? lol

okay anyways im outta here! make sure to check out my new LO's i uploaded!
 
Morning O family... Hope everyone is having a great day! It is sunny here today, but not very warm brrrr!! When will the warmer weather arrive?? Oh well just happy to see the sunshine once more. Off to work again today, but not until 11:00am til 3:00 a nice short shift again then two full days in a row ugh! But can't linger here today as I have to look into why my internet bill has suddenly sky rocketed so I will be on the :phone: most of the morning I am sure.

Chris - I bet you are sore from all that painting you did yesterday, but how nice to have it finally done! Tell both of your kids that I think that they rock!! You have done a fab job of raising such kind and considerate children, you should be so proud of both of them!! You are right, things don't matter, family is what counts and you are truly blessed!! Thinking of your family and the your whole community on this sad funeral day!

Nana Linda... too funny on the shaking bed :pound: you are such a naughty Nana :eyebrows: just kidding LOL. You have been busy doing some scrapping I see, hope your day is great and you get to do some more!

Kristy - Nice that you are able to be in the dirt! I can't wait to get out to my flowers again. We had to bring in a few truck loads of good soil for our yard, but it was so worth it!! Off to check out your layouts soon.

Meg... Ugh another migraine, hope you feel better today! Horray on the good news for your grandpa, such a worry!! Now you can all relax and enjoy his better health!

That site is actually fake (even though there was another church that probably inspired this site, that had this God Hates campaigns about like everything). The most fun part about this site is all the people that really thinks it's a true church, and tries to argue with them. GRRRRRR just got called in to work a full shift today so now I won't be able to get back in here until late tonight :rant:. Sure wish they could get their act together at work!!
 
Awww trudy!!! I hope things smooth out soon at work... sounds like lately they've been silly with scheduling!!!

Quick pop-in for me... I'm on my way to costco for more of life's essentials... special K, laughing cow light swiss cheese wedges, and toilet paper!!

I'm pumped -- had a great workout last night now that I'm not a hormone casserole! Looking forward to another one tonight :)

edit to comment on Costco - I'll go with you!!! One of my favorite stores :) Before I was married and had kids my favorite was Nordstrom ... How things change!
