Wheeeee, it is Hump Day!

How is everyone holding up? Enjoying life?? I really hope so. I am trying to break out of this damn crappy mood and I bet that if I start my day here being happy (using Laurie's Tip from yesterday -- Fake it until you make it :p) i'll get there at some point, hopefully sooner than later.

I have coffee, the birds are chirping, my dog loves me...... its all good!

Annnnd, I got a bit of news from Scott that makes me burst with pride. He is going to speak at the Lyme Protest. He spoke to the woman we are going with - she is the one who led the Round Tables last year-- and he agreed to do it. Dang!! That is not something I could do- but I know he is going to be amazing. He had people in tears the last time sharing his Lyme Story. I have done good with my kids. I have to keep telling myself that, even when they make me pull every last hair from my head. I also have to admit that they have done good with themselves-- I was just the guide.... they are doing the rest.

Running late, so just a BIG hug to all of you!

And this is from yesterday but Happy Birthday Joanie (aka Tylertooo) ...

Make it a great one-- even if you have to fake it at first

xoxo

Chris, you started my day off happy! not because of the "Fake it 'til you make it thing," but the news about Scott is just so uplifting. wow. he's really taking on some challenges lately. the trial, now this. you SHOULD be a proud mamma! nice going to all of you!!

today i'm in search of a bottle of Vodka that's made a few miles down the highway at a micro-distillery. no, not for me. :partywine for my son 's BD. i'm going down to DC to visit The Grandmen soon and will be taking my son's BD gifts down , too. i always like to try to find unique presents. he should get a laugh out of vodka made in Pittsburgh....

hope everyone has a great day! i actually made another PAGE!!! :cheer2:

Phyllis- that is *exactly* what he said to me this morning. He said that he already did the 2 Round tables, which were no big deal. Then he had the trial and he said speaking in front of people about Lyme would be nothing compared to the stress of that.

seriously proud mama today.

And WTG on the page!!!!!!!! I am running to your gallery as soon as I am done here!!!!!

Actually, I just went there and back. That page gave me chills....... it feels good to scrap the emotions out, doesn't it? That is what I had to do yesterday and it is cathartic.
Welcome back to Scrap-Land and I hope the mojo keeps flowing. Your art is always truly outstanding.

Good luck finding the vodka. If you have any extra, you can send it to NJ LOL

PS: Glad I could make your day a bit happy too- I love being able to share good news here :)

Ow how amazing that Scott is going to speak at the Lyme Protest, I can imagine your proud of him for doing that! And it maybe true they done good with themselves but it sure helps a lot when you have a great parent, like you, to guide you!

So great you made another page Phylis! Good luck with finding the vodka!

I've done some housework, exercises and brought Ben to a birthdayparty (they are going to swim and he loves that). Luc and Nik are playing on the WII now, Wes is at daycare and I'm catching up here and then doing some more housework before dinner.

Good morning friends... Not as beautiful this morning as yesterday, but its not :rain: yet so I am going for my walk early today before it starts. I had such a nice day yesterday, not really exciting, but very peaceful ! I went for a nice long walk, about 1 1/2 hrs and then came home and did some more weeding in the back yard. Then MG phoned and asked me to run an errand for him, so while I was out I ran into the Hardware store where I used to work and had a visit with a couple of the girls there. They all said that I looked so happy and relaxed and they said they missed me. I miss them all too and I suppose the stress is gone from my face now and I do feel much healthier !! They are all so very unhappy with the new owners, but things are settling down for them and they hope that it will get better soon! I still was having my doubts that I did the right thing by leaving, but they told me that there are no part time workers there anymore and that really was the deal clincher! I do not want full time work!!

Chris - You must be bursting with Pride about your son's decision to talk at the Lyme Protest!! What an amazing young man he is turning into! I am sure that your great parenting had a lot to do with that!! Take a bow my friend :humble: your are an awesome Mom!

Phylis - I saw your page when I opened the gallery page here this morning!! Another masterpiece my friend! Hope your creativity keeps flowing! Then perhaps you could send some to me, because I have been in a bit of rut myself!! Hope you find the Vodka for your son's BD, that is rather funny... a vodka made in Pittsburgh!! :becky: Lucky you, you get to see your grandmen again! I won't get to see Isaac and Sadie until the summer, but at least I have FaceTime!!

Angela - Wow, you seem to always be going to birthday parties!! Guess thats what happens when you have kids!! Nice that Ben gets to go swimming for this one! Housework never ends does it? Hope you have a nice evening and can relax for bit!

So I guess I better get some breakfast before heading out on my walk! Sister Wendy wants me to take her to Marigold Nursery today to look for a certain type of bamboo plant that she wants for her yard. So that is my excitement for the day! Hope everyone has a wonderful Wednesday!!

I am back from food shopping and errands, and have a couple of minutes before my laundry is ready to switch over.

I did my sit ups again this morning. 4 sets of 12-- 4 different exercises for each set. 3 days in a row :cheer2:

So, from yesterday:

Laurie- we have sun out today-- hopefully it will stay a while. Sending you sunny spring vibes to make you winter (heh) slump go away!

Love your tip! Using it today :D:D:D

Angela- How did the pulmonary tests go? Are these routine?
I agree with Phyllis- I think I started peri-men. around that age. I had my tubes tied when I was 31 but had to go back onto hormonal BC just to sort of settle out my hormones.

Here is a link to the protest-- I am really excited- it is going to be huge. These are some of the "rock stars" of the Lyme world.

P- did your kitty get a clean bill of health? My brother's cat was the same way, and he had a traveling vet come to hos house too. Worth every penny, he said.

Nancy- sorry to hear about your Devils.... get their butts going!

Terry, oh my-- it seems like things just go from bad to worse. Your poor mom- it must have been bad for her to tell your sister to leave. Many good thoughts still coming your way. Things have to calm down soon, right?

Trudy-- so true, you can only watch the horrific stuff so many times before you can;t take any more. One more reason tha t I only get my news online-- with my speakers turned down,I don't watch video/streaming etc. My heart just breaks for those people. Very happy and releived to hear that the Vancouver people are all ok.

Oh man-- between your fam and Terry's-- there is a lot of bad crap going on. So sorry to hear of all of this.
Any news on unemployment? MY fingers are crossed and that you are eligible.

Ok, my sweet Ozies (all of you reading this, right now!)
I am off and running again.
love you!

good morning - yesterday and today the morning started out gray but has now turned sunny and gorgeous! Got in a good walk. And I am getting caught up on my project 365 pages.

Chris how wonderful your son is going to speak. I hope the news stations cover this program.

Phylis saw your page! Welcome back! hope to see more and maybe you will get some inspiration while visiting the grandmen and your son.

Angela those boys of your sure keep you hopping LOL - I had trouble with just 2.

Trudy I am so glad that visiting your coworkers did not change your mind about leaving the hardware store. Glad that the workers left are doing ok. Have fun with your sister.

Ladies have a great day!

Great to hear you had a nice day yesterday Trudy, I hope you'll have one today too!

Sunny days are so great right Nancy, we have sun too, just ate our first icecream of this year :D

Yay to you Chris, so good you did sit-ups again!

I have to get the results from the pulmonary tests, I have to call Tuesday to find out. The assistent did the test and said it was not COPD but it could be asthma.
