The Loopy-O
CHEERY O
It's Hump Day and Hump Month.
(Does that sound nasty to anyone else or just me? :hiding2:)
All I mean is that we are halfway, over the hump, for the month.:blushing1:

Did everyone enjoy yesterday? I had a fantastic time catching up with my friend. She just booked a quick trip to Florida to visit her DD in June. Yup, she is super excited for that. Meanwhile, her DS just turned 22 and wants to move out. She is like-- sure, go ahead... Where you gonna go and how are you going to afford it? The story of everyone's lives around here.
In the afternoon, I reworked my lessons and sent them off to the director. Today, I hope to get some pictures of the experiments to send to her too.
When the sun was out, it seemed a little warmer outside and I opened the windows for fresh air. Unfortunately, that didn't work out. It was still way too chilly in the house.

At some point, it is going to get warm enough to wear short sleeves and open the windows. It will.
Just not today.
:crying1:

Gonna bring my own sunshine here instead. HAGD!

I hope she realizes the dust bunnies I am sending along with them is free! ;)
LMBO! If only we could make dust bunnies into currency. Exchange rate: 5 lbs of dust bunnies= 5 lbs of coffee. That sounds fair to me.
Any more news on the furnace today?
up! I've lived in one of the Oranges my entire life! :lovey3:
That is so cool! ♥
I remember when I was a little kid thinking about the Oranges as oranges, you know, the fruit. I guess I thought they grew oranges there or something like that. Whatever it was, the connection was really strong. :giggle4:
Now that I think some more, I remember my grandma always having a bowl of Clementines on the table. Hmm.

It's so nice that you answer so many personals...I try but just cannot seem to do it all the time plus I type slow!!! It shows that you care about other people/cyber-friendships.
Thank you, you are so sweet! :lovey3:
I really do care so much about all of you. I have two monitors, so I keep yesterday's thread open on one and the one I am replying to on the other. Makes it much easier to go back and forth. I try to keep everyone's families straight in my head. I feel bad when I mess up so I'll ask for more info when it is appropriate.
I am seriously excited to see your otter pages! Please let me know when they are posted, I don't want to miss them.
Last year, I was hiking by the beaver lodge when I got slapped at by one of the beavers. I tried to get photos and video of him as he patrolled in front of the lodge but he was to far away to get any good ones and didn't want to get closer and upset him further.
(Why am I sharing this?? I guess the otters reminded me of the beavers and my brain sidetracked from here. hahah!)
Anyway- I really wanted to scrap about so I am excited to see your LOs instead. hehehe
I talked to dear DIL yesterday she is such a wonderful person and loves our son so much. Mike is at the McCabin in NY working on it and she will take Reed and the neighbor kid up today. I guess they are painting the interior. I'm really looking forward to seeing this amazing place again we last saw it 2 years ago, 2700 Sq Ft of retirement house with 6 garages.
My MIL says that abotu me and my BIL's wife-- how she loves how much her sons's wives love them. It makes me feel so good when she says it and I know your DIL feels the same.
Was the roof/water damage fixed? I hope so!
Other than that... I will be back on the massager in the recliner. The laundry will have to wait another few days.

Sending healing thoughts to all who need them....
Feel better and healing thoughts to you too :hug3:

Not able to say good at the moment. Shipping. Its the cross we bear in AK. I know youre all super smart so forgive my rant.
I am USA. I am a state. I am part of the 50! (Not even the last one). We are Continental! 90% of us have PO Boxes! YES we are USA and NOT a foreign country. :rollingpin1: :rollingpin1: :rollingpin1:
You're not??

I did good over the weekend and blew it yesterday!!!
It happens. (don't ask me how I know, I deny *everything!!*)
How are you feeling today? *gentle hugs*
Its taken me 6 weeks to feel normal and I still have some moments of ..... off. So I have resigned myself to the fact that I wont be able to fish this year.
Yeah, I hear you. I totally get why my doc was telling me I had to take it slow getting back on my feet. I think I am going to start the field trip on Friday in my boot. My foot is fine, but my ankle is still very stiff and creaky. I guess I thought it would be better by now.
Can you relate??

Off to figure out WTH I am doing today.

xoxoxoxoooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have new houses going up all over the place here.....just don't know how people can even afford to build with the price of lumber these days! Just with the little bit of lumber Mark has milled I'm sure it is a gold mine!
Glad you had a good time with your friend! It does make me sad that young people can't even afford to leave home!
It was in the 60's here yesterday but the shade and breeze made it feel much cooler than that! No short sleeves yet, for sure!

I love your exchange rate for dust bunnies to coffee! Sounds like a good deal to me! ;)
Yeah, the motor guy is working on the motor so no telling when that will be resolved! Fortunately the house is staying relatively warm as the temps increase through the day, especially as I'm working by booty off trying to declutter!

Good Morning,
I worked my booty off yesterday doing some decluttering! I took a bunch of craft stuff back out to my she shed. It has a tendency to collect during the winter and I just don't have room in this house for it! Mark has an office but I don't have! And that room is full of stuff of his dads! Safes, books he is never going to read, old computer parts, gun cabinets.....the list goes on and on! If some of that stuff was out I could share the space with him.......

The furnace motor needs work, so not sure when that will be fixed, if ever. But at least it isn't winter!

Even with working my booty off yesterday I was able to get some pages done for a pre-release and one of the challenges!

I need to get back to work after I close this out. Ilene wants to get together today, but I'm going to pass. Just want to get some more done while I'm motivated!

HAGD!

Well I did not finish book, I did not work on my basket but I did cleanup by my lilies then put the bags of soil at the edge of the pond. They hubby went to get sod so we put that down and watered it which will be a daily chore for 2-3 weeks...lucky our irrigation comes from the pond so we do not have to pay for the water. We went to our friends house to check out their new tile floor and send pics to them as they are away on a vacation. Stopped to feed a friends cat. The alligator was cruising around our dock so I had to take time to get some photos I will be making a page soon. I tied my orchid to the tree I sure hope it attaches like the others did. I made a quick dinner then we went to the club for the Dive In Movie- a screen set up near the pool and we watched Harry met Sally, there were only about a dozen watching as many people are out of town this week. It was a fun night one person went in the pool- water is heated to 85 but air was much cooler so I chose to just watch the movie.
This morning I did some scrapping.

@faerywings I use your method to do personals too but I'm not a witty as you but I do try to follow along. I did post a page of the otters this morning in my personal gallery. Now you can see the cuteness of river otters.
LOL your story of beavers, I was kayaking with exDIL and we have to portage a beaver dam....well they got really upset with us. I hope to get some good beaver pic's this summer when we are at our son's McCabin in NY. his pond is formed from a beaver dam and I have gotten a few pics there but am going to spend more time with the camera this year as we will be there over a week. Oh by the way they did solve the leaking roof issue. They will be up there this weekend painting the walls. I'm excited to see the progress as it's been 2 years. I do think he is ahead of his 5 year build plan but still has 2 bathrooms and the kitchen to do plus a huge deck off kitchen.
I'm glad you had a good day yesterday and are progressing but I feel bad for you sore ankle probably from being stationary so long. One step at a time, pretty soon you will be running.
Ill try to get back here. Im off to get my PreTSA card.

Morning, all. I hobbled into the office this morning. .... another day of back stiffness and spasms!!! Have spells like this a few times a year... not sure what triggers them. The weather is doing it's yoyo... warm to cold to warm to cold. Guess it is time to pull out the back brace and wear it for a few days. <sigh> At least the right shoulder is feeling a bit better. The only thing on my "must do" agenda is repackage the meat into meal size portions and get it into the freezer.

I did manage to get 2 LOs done - need to get them uploaded to the galleries this morning. Need to look at the challenges and might get some mojo to work on one or two. ;) I need another :coffeedrinker:before I get dressed. HAGD

Good Morning All!
Its a beautiful grey rainy cool day here.

Relate??? oh yeah! It takes so much longer for recovery when in the 5th decade of life. I like your idea of starting in the boot. Keep that ankle safe and supported.

@BoatLady I am off to the gallery next. I cant wait to see the layout!!! The McCabin sounds like a project but sounds like he's progressing. Bet it will be amazing when they are done.

@BrightEyes I hope your back stops spasming and you get some relief. I will be feeling your shoulder pain today. Its Mac N Cheese night and that means using 5 gallons of milk to make the cheese sauce. Will be staring the massive pot for over an hour.

Its crazy that the school year is winding down and summer is coming. We have two (today and next week) Wednesdays left for cooking for the church. Of course we're going out with a bang, I didn't plan easy to make meals LOL Mac n Cheese tonight, half with bacon and half without. Then next week we will make 18 pizzas that are 12x24"

Off to grab more coffee and then get moving. Have a meeting before I start cooking today. Have a wonderful day.

Between baseball and volleyball, I've totally lost track of all of you. We actually had 2 baseball games we didn't freeze at. 2 day volleyball tourney over the weekend . We're lucky the National Volleyball Center is in Rochester, about 20 mile drive, 11 courts with 3 more in the high school it's attached to. First game was at 8. We stayed till noon, and then drove home for baseball . Lauren's team beat 6 teams that day without a loss and Christian's baseball team won. Back at volleyball at 8 Sunday morning and took my good camera with me and took 1,000 pictures. They beat 2 more teams Sunday morning and then lost their first one. won the second & lost the third so they just missed making it into the championship round. The parents of the opposing team said that was the best their girls had played all weekend. I think we were all pretty much volleyballed out at that point. Dgd called us as we were leaving & sweet talked us into stopping at our favorite Dairy Queen so Wendell & I stopped with her and her mom and he and I had blizzards for supper and she scarfed down a banana split. Wendell and I stopped for groceries and then headed home and I downloaded all my pics, we had a glass of wine & crashed & burned- I had hair and nails done on Monday and baseball Monday night. It was cold and crazy windy and just miserable. Christian wasn't playing so we left when there were 2 innings left. Winter coat, 2 sweatshirts, quilt and cold. I've been working on pictures non-stop otherwise. Finished this morning and got them uploaded. Whittled them down to just under 300, still an awful lot, but better than a 1000. Ortho appointment at 3:30 but we're taking my bike down before to have new tires put on. I'm hoping to have more of a knobbed tire put on. Mine came with smooth, which is fine, our bike trail is paved, but it crosses a lot of gravel roads & the smooth tires aren't as good there. Time for Wendell to replace-his helmet too. Baseball tonight - Skipped track last night, it was almost un hour away and it was cold and crazy windy again. I need coffee & to get caught up around here.

Thats a lot!!! No wonder you've been MIA. Hope it was fun too. Wont be long and it will be summer and you'll get a chance to chill. Oh wait, Twin, who we kidding!!! Neither of us really sits still long or well. :giggle4: :hug2: But now I want a DQ blizzard. Sounds amazing.

Good morning ladies. I'm home for a few hrs before my day takes off. Canasta, car wash, dinner and then off to the movies with a friend. The weather cooled off today but will warm up again tomorrow. March/April here is crazy weather. It fluctuates so much. We have more snow coming (just an inch or so) and then it'll warm up again to mid/high 60's.

I'll check in more on the wkend. This wk my schedule is really busy.
