Happy Hump Day!
How are all of the O-zie O's today?

I slept much better last night, whew! And you will all laugh at this- I woke up thinking how much I love my alarm clock.
:scared:

I have an app called Light Alarm Clock that I can set to use a "daylight" type setting 10 minutes before my alarm goes off. Then I have it set for wind chimes to gradually get louder. It is such a gentle way to way up, and much nicer than the 4 am, OMG- my pulse is racing and I will never get back to sleep bit. hahahaha!!!

I ended up crashing again yesterday. And my cranky mood came back. Ick.
Maybe today will be better? We are going food shopping, so all bets are for a big fat NO! I said to Gary that since we have so much food from our parents, maybe it won't be too expensive of a trip. Then the list seems to be growing exponentially. uh-oh!

If I am up to it, maybe I will head outside and clean out another bit of yard.It is supposed to be another beautiful day! I have to feel like I am accomplishing something or I am going to go crazy. -Er.

I also have to finish another lo or two for Christopher's book. I have been having fun digging through my stash to do this but I am not feeling creative by any stretch.

What good stuff do you have on the slate for today?

QOTD I know this has been asked a million times, but what do you do to get through a Creativity Block? Doesn't have to be scrap related but anything in life?
Scrapping- I like looking at other Galleries, and in Life-- Pinterest. However, there is a fine line for me between getting inspired and feeling utterly uncreative!!!

Nancy- I bet you took a lot of great pictures! Good idea to put them in several places in case of a computer crash.
I get lazy too with my camera. I will go through periods were I force myself to shoot on Manual, then I put it aside, and next time I get in that mood, I have forgotten everything that I had learned before. I do that with a lot of things :D

Dina- welcome to the Oooos! What do you do to volunteer? Are you a nurse? Those are long days, but I bet it makes you feel good to be helping.

Trudy- how was your birthday?? I hope that you were showered all day with love and gifts and good food! I am sorry that you are missing your mom, and I wish that maybe you see a sign from her today that she is still with you b/c I know she is!
Congrats on the upgraded Kobo!!!

Sharon- I will have to try out those shortcuts! TFS! Hope the weather gets sunny for you soon.
*fingers still crossed for good news on the house SOON!!!!!!!!!*

Time for Bus Stop Run #1
have a great one!

good morning! Yesterday I got in a good walk and some good scrapping! But today I have to do some errands. I have to go grocery shopping and put all the tax forms in the mail. My husband finally had an account do the taxes. He has been so much happier. He did not even complain when he wrote out the checks. LOL! And he can take the fee of his taxes next year.

Chris so glad you got a better sleep! good luck at the store!

Dina welcome and thanks for volunteering - it takes a special person.

Sharon thanks for the short cuts.

Trudy I can't wait to hear how the birthday went!

Have a great day all!

Morning ladies... up early today and thinking that I should try to hit the pool early also, we will see. My birthday was very nice!! My two sisters that live close came over with Presents and Cake!! What a nice surprise! Even my oldest sister whom I hardly ever talk to anymore, gave me a phone call to wish me Happy Birthday! Then a flower delivery from my son and his family... so beautiful!! DH took me out to a local restaurant ("Just Jake's"} for dinner, I am a very blessed woman!! Today I am off to the dentist to have my broken tooth looked at. I couldn't get in to see the dentist yesterday, seems they were very busy with many other unexpected appointments. So I imagine a new crown is in my future :mmph:

Chris - Hope the grocery shopping goes well I am so happy to hear that you are getting the nice weather finally and are able to be outside a bit!! It just seems to clear the cobwebs out of the brain being in the fresh air and so therapeutic to be doing some gardening!!

Nancy - I had to laugh about the your hubby not complaining about writing out the cheques for the taxes!! It was very painful for my DH to do that this year, we got slammed by the tax man big time this year!! We could have used that money for so many other things!!

QOTD - I love to spend hours at Pinterest!! I love to browse galleries also for inspiration, but I think the best thing for my creative block is to just go through my stash of goodies and find a kit or even just a paper that catches my eye and start from there. Right now I am working on some ads for the site and I have a total block for creativity!! So I guess I will sit here until something comes to my head!!

Hope you all have a fabulous Wednesday!! If anyone sees Phylis , tell how much I miss her!!

Woke up to beautiful sun this morning. AND it's Wednesday With Clara. :) It's been two weeks, so I know there will be some delightful changes.

This afternoon I hope to get over to the HS where the pool is, and figure out the protocol...maybe start swimming tomorrow.

Glad you had such a nice birthday, Trudy. We just don't do birthdays at our house, except that we usually go out for dinner. But no friends or extended family...barely an acknowledgement from our kids.

Chris, your alarm clock sounds awesome! Never heard of such a thing.

I don't need much creativity these days for anything but scrapping. And my best source is the galleries and "my favorites." Right now I'm scrapping pages for DS & DIL of their recent trip to the ocean. They are all pretty quick pages, as they are mostly interested in having the event documented, not my artistic skills. I usually don't even post those kinds of pages. But they are really fun to make because I feel like I accomplish a lot in a little time. And the reward is huge, because they are dazzled, and it is a "chore" they love not having to do. And I think the Persnickety Prints semi-annual sale will be coming up soon, so I'd like to get it all done in time to make the sale. Then DD gets the finished pages for her birthday in July.

Go gently.

I'm taking my sister in for a biopsy today, so really, really hoping all will be well. After that, I'm pretty much in the clear. Taxes are filed, my project basically complete and I even did a LO last night. And I'm so enjoying spring!

Chris, I add my hopes the shopping goes well and admiring your alarm clock. I know you're enjoying spring too.
.
Nancy, I'm sure your walking will also be more pleasant. Looking forward to seeing your photos.

Sharon, have fun with Clara. Good luck with starting swimming. You sound like you're having lots of fun with scrapping and other things.

Trudy, congrats on all the loveliness of your birthday. So nice to have special touches for the day. Good luck with the dentist!

QOTD: I'm not sure what I use to get through a block. Maybe just ignore for a while and then something happens. Taking photos is one good way for scrapping ideas to start.

Hope it's a good day for all.
