No April Fool's jokes here this time around. Sorry for no breathing or commentary. My head is going to explode in another minute or so so I am going to say Hi! and then I am off.

I am sure that I will be back later bit *no one* wants to deal with me ATM ha!
Love to all!

OK, I am back and thankfully, my head is still attached. (Thankfully?? Not so sure about that.)
Gary and I had a big old-fashioned blowout on each other. Better now. But I guess t isn't surprising. I spent the majority of the time since I woke up until now trying to desperately find somewhere to do online grocery shopping. I tried three different ShopRites, 2 price Choppers (one was even 45 mins away), Walmart, BJs, Instacart. No delivery or pick-up options anywhere. I emailed my friend across the street asking if I gave her a list, would she shop for me and I would pay her to do that.
We have plenty of food, getting low on eggs and creamer but we sure won't starve. But by next week it will be tough on a few more things. I also have to get it into my head that I don't have to cook "real" meals ATM which is something I struggle with. I am Italian- food is how we make things better!

The good news is that my DR is all painted and put back. It is kinda sad that no one will notice since it is the same color as before. But it is done and next week I will steam clean.
Sorry that I am a bit of a downer today, fighting takes so much out of me. I hate it.

Gratitudes:
-*stares at screen a while*
-oh, that I have a computer that helps me stay connected to others!
- the sun is out ATM - haven't seen that in a few days
-it is April (Not sure how that is a gratitude but it is closer to the summer weather so sure!)

Trudy- yuck to the snow, been cold here too.
I am so happy that you and Mason got to play the game together-- that sounds like it was a blast
I don't think I have a pic of W with the teeth-ball in her mouth but it is very cute

Rae- That is fantastic news about J feeling better, all fingers and toes are crossed that she continues to improve
I sure as heck miss Jon Stewart on the Daily Show. Gary likes Trevor too

Hi Kythe!

Nancy- hope that Luther's allergies get better soon and that he doesn't itch anymore. Poor guy. You are brave to go out in this cold weather, it is so damp and yucky

Jean- bet hearing and seeing the sparrow uplifted your spirits a bit. I hope so. I saw that about Kay and I am so relieved that she is back home.

Sending all of you huge hugs!

I am back home after 3 days in the hospital. Got released on Monday. Extremely high blood pressure meant a call to paramedics.. then DD#1 took me to Urgent Care who called paramedics to transport me to the hospital. Long story short - Cat scan and MRI ruled out a stroke or TIA. Monitored me for 36 hours and adjusted meds then released me on Monday afternoon. Never been on BP meds before so they wanted to make sure they were going to do the job. I have home health coming in today to set up the nurse visits for a few weeks. BP is down where it should be so I feeling much better. The doctor cleared me to be alone as the dizziness went away as soon as they got the BP down. DD#1 will be doing any shopping I need. My kids are calling me during the day to check on how I am doing. The good thing is that I already have a BP cuff/monitor and Oxygen monitor so I can check both 3-4 times a day. And I am set up with a phone appt with my primary care doc for tomorrow.

I will be taking it easy for the next few days before getting back into my normal routine. BTW, I now carry my cellphone with me... just in case.

No personals today.

Gratitudes:
That this event happened before the surge in Covid-19 hit the local hospital
And it didn't cause a stroke/TIA
That I am able to back in my home and do for myself

Hello girls!
I was how you told it...um... in cranky mood, and wasn't talkative at all. As Rae's husband I wanted only to lie on the sofa and watch TV, don't care much even what I'm watching. Yesterday I finally woke up with mood to feels like a woman again, not just as another pillow on the sofa. So I wake up and make up just for fun! We are obliged to wear masks, so women stopped to make up, and all looks like criminals with these covered faces, with the fear and suspicious in their eyes. I'm not from the girls with layers of makeup, but still it's nice to have a lipstick. So one of my fav bands was made this IG challenge: "dress code for the gig", and I was "Why not!", it was actually kind of fun and I'll scrap a page with these photos soon!
Have a lots of thoughts, but will keep them for some of the next days, as I want positive beginning of the month! I'm happy to see Jean's yesterday post, as I want to share 2 related to her photos. But I hope to be interesting for the others of you too!
First is the puzzle that my sister did, it's a huge one and was difficult. And the next is my APPLE NUTTY BREAD, thank you so much for this recipe! It's really good! I succeeded from the second try as the first one I overbaked and it's came on charcoal outside and not ready inside. I'm so naive forgot that you bake on fahrenheit and following the recipe was put the oven on max, when this should be only around 150 on celsius. But this morning it's turns perfect!

Gratitudes:
:smow: for the yard, as we can play there
:smow: for my O friends, as they teach me funny things
:smow: for the new month, as I hope this will be new beginning

I'll back with personals later! Hugs and kisses!

I think cranky is a good description! Not being talkative is pretty normal for me, so this just makes it more so. One nice thing for me was finishing the weekly pages for 2018, at long last! I also found I could get them printed at half off and free shipping, so just did it. The book arrived Monday and I am pleased. DH enjoyed looking at it, especially as it includes two extra pages for our 50th. These photos aren't good, but will give you an idea.

Felis, so glad you posted those photos! The puzzle is super looking and an impressive accomplishment for your sister. I am delighted with the photo of the Apple Nutty Bread. It looks so good. I'm really sorry I neglected to point out the oven temp. was in Fahrenheit. I have making a loaf on my plans for today. It is so fun to see a recipe crossing the ocean as it were. I think your idea to do the makeup was a nice one. Why not do the little things that make you feel good, or normal?

Kay, that must have been a big, scary surprise to suddenly suffer from high BP. Sorry you went through that, but as you say, good it happened at a slightly safer time and with all the support systems you have with the family. Sounds like relaxing with books might be just right now. Hope you keep feeling better.

Chris, the current confinement is a sure recipe for outbreaks of discord, so it really isn't a surprise you and DH experienced one. Hope you both got over it soon enough. Getting outside can't come soon enough for you I know. But, congrats on the DR painting and everything back in place. Hope you found a way to get those groceries. I keep remembering little things I forgot on our last grocery trip and like Trudy, I'm not going back for only a few things.

Gratitudes today:
That the sun just came out
That procedure for DH on Friday got cancelled (grateful we won't get exposure at the hospital, but it's something that needs doing, now set for June 24, so delay worrisome)
That I can hook this computer to our TV and found a program on Ravens we plan to watch tonight
we're still well
you all are still here

Hey ladies... sorry I am getting here so late, but I have been very busy this morning installing our new Apple TV and getting everything set up for our numerous streaming apps. It has been mind boggling to say the least!! Thank goodness my Son was able to help me out a bit! I have been busy making some Easter Cards for the kids too. No facetime today. I think we all need a break from it for a day LOL.

Chris - Sorry to hear that you and your Gary had a bit of a tiff! All part of a good marriage, hope that you don't dwell on it too much! Wow good for you for getting your room all painted and looking spiffy again! Glad that you will be seeing some sunshine today! We could all use a bright sunny day!

Kay - Yes I read that you had spent some time in the hospital! How frightening for you and your family!! I am happy to hear that you are doing better and hopefully the meds will do the trick and keep your pressure where it should be! Thank goodness you did not have a stroke or TIA! Sending you lots of gentle hugs!!

Felis - Your bread looks so yummy and I had to laugh about the temp that you cooked your first one at! LOL. Well I guess not too funny that you had to re-do it all over again! The puzzle looks like a hard one, but a good way to pass the time! Looking forward to your pages that you have planned to do! I keep applying my makeup everyday, it just kind of makes things seem more normal for me. I don't wear very much, but its just a habit I guess.

Jean - Your photo book turned out great! I really should do something like that! I keep meaning to do one of all the hikes I have been on, but then I get distracted and start something else LOL. I am a bit of a scatter brain!! Yes doesn't it make you mad when you forget to get things at the store, its not like we are going to just run there everyday now :mmph: Hope you have lots of warm sunshine coming through the windows today!

Have a wonderful afternoon everyone!

Gratitudes -
My O family forgives me when I am not here much!
My Son is very good with technology and can help his silly Mother out!
I can make cards for my grands and send them some goodies for Easter!

I'm back! Good morning! Yes I needed to switch the day before the personals as I said I had missed few days and also I wanted April 1st to be carefree!
I'm sharing the same fears as all here. From Chris disappointment that kids (not me nor my sister), can't qualify for government compensation, as both jobs are out of approved occupations, and will have to rely month or who knows how long to my parents. Thank goodness we have this Summer vacation fund, but for how long? It's karma, because when that situation wasn't become serious yet and government just offered to stay at home, I thought these compensations are for lazy people, but then they blocked everything and now the the unemployment queue is kilometrically long. I already mentioned Rae's husband and mine similar attitude of pillow mimicry (I'm so relieved to hear that J is much better!). And Trudy was told it very good:"Seems the lack of socializing is really starting to bother me! I mean I am not a really social person to begin with! I think that I am missing my freedom more than anything." Same. I was 2 or 3 times out to shop or pharmacy, but all these masked, angry people, the distance and the whole madness. I'm paranoid even in good days, when can see who is standing against me. I think in shorten that was mostly what I was skip from previous days posts.

I wasn't knew that Kay is been in hospital. And reading today's post, you really scared me girl! It's good that you are at home now! And also that there is still have doctors who to take attention on you! Get well soon!

Chris, so sorry for your quarrel! I'm sure it's already forgotten! It's not only you! All my friends kidding that this quarantine will increase the numbers of babies and divorces. So nice to have the walls done, and I find it even relief that the color is same as before, as I'm not a fan of changes! We all knows how stressful is grocery shopping even in regular days ::grouphug !

Trudy, :smash: totally agree! But once set up, I'm sure you'll enjoy to your new Apple TV so much! Hooray for the smart sons! I love so much this little habit about the makeup, this is exactly how it should be, so to not lose connection with the normal daylife! I also have to start do it again! Hope the kids to have their fun Easter! Here everything is mess and argues should or shouldn't church to be closed. We aren't closed churches during any war, nor during the slavery, where they was cruelly punish and tried to restrict the religious people. Never God wasn't close his doors, so they discuss option how Easter's rituals to happens now.

Jean, The photo book looks wonderful! And so good about the printing deal, bravo! I really hoped to do it this year again! Maybe next one.
I don't mind the second bread's try as I had prepared lots of applesauce, and It's not bad when my silly mistake make others smile (including my family)! Also my kitchen was smelling so good! Thanks again for the recipe!
