Good Morning ladies...

IT"S FREAKING COLD HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The gusting wind woke me up at 3 am....guess what.......been up since!!!! It's 25 degrees, but the wind is STEADY at 35MPH with gusts up to 60MPH!!! I think they said the windchill is 12...UUUGGHHH!!!!
The good news.........all the parcipitation missed us....well...it did snow again here yesterday afternoon, but it did not accumulate!!! So no ice and what little snow there was on the ground, well....Chris...it blew all the way up to you I guess with that gusting!!!

Mike sent his supervisor that he wanted off today....so hopefully he will back in a little while....It's just too cold out there.

I tried so hard to scrap last night, but nothing would happen...I think I was just tired. I really need to take pictures....since Savannah started walking, I don't get as many photos....she keeps me too busy to think about the camera!!!!

Okay....I am going to get my coffee....I will be back.......
 
Good morning Nana. Sure is cold here too. about 15* right now, wind chills ate 8*. We thankfully didn't get as much snow as they were predicting. It looks like 7-8", which isn't so bad. They were predicting 8-12.
I am so so SO done with winter!
They called school last night which was nice, except we got another call- the same one- at 6 am, I couldn't get back to sleep after that. we have an automated call system, which is usually very nice..

nana- I haven't been scrapping at all either, but that is what my plans are for today. I usually say I'll scrap after everything else is done, but by then I am to tired too.

I wish that I was on a tropical island with all my O-Fam, gorgeous weather and drinks with little umbrellas!
I wish all of the snow would melt- now.
I want peace in the world of ours....

I'm back..kind of.. Not sure yet LOL
I really didn't like making layouts for a few months.. Now I opened my photoshop again. Cause I have to start making a photobookf or my mom's birthday.

Snow has melted overhere.. I'm happy about that! I have to walk my oldest to school. Just a few minutes walk. But with the snow (which will turn into ice when a lot of ppl walked on it, and nobody cleans the sideway in front of their garden!) it was surviveling! LOL

How is everybody?

We went to bed about three hours ago, but I'm up with a tummy ache. I ate too much chinese food last night :-\

Hehe, still no snow here!!!!! Jeff's gotten sprinkled on at work, but we wont be getting any on the valley floor. Feel free to mail me some if you get too much ;-)

Today we're going to get things done!!!!! Jeff has an application he's been putting off that I'm going to help him fill out. I also need to package up three kits I've had sitting on my hd... but I have a feeling I'm going to be redoing bits and pieces of them. I kind of heard from a store I applied to, they had some questions.... and I sent back a novel in response. Overkill? Probably. But I've been an impatient wreck this last week!

Well, I'm getting cold sitting out here so I'm going to crawl back into bed with the honey bear. I'm probably going to be checking my email every ten minutes LOL.

Oh... and guess who decided she needed a twitter account to go with her facebook fan page... hopefully her twitter will give her the attention she craves so she wont be rolling in doo-doo every other day....

Hi everyone, just popping in to say hey, it's cool here, but I'm Canadian so I am used to much colder weather LOL! Having so much fun at Mickey's house! Off to do some shopping today and then the guys are heading to a NHL hockey game tonight, the girls are having wine and watching a movie after we put the young ones to bed. Time is flying by to quickly of course, but we are enjoying every minute. Will try to pop in again in a few days. :wave:
 
Good morning! I can't believe those words are coming out of my mouth. LOL!! I actually woke up early this morning because I went to bed at a somewhat decent hour and my punk of a dog decided he needed to pee and almost jumped up on the bed and knocked me out. Crazy dog.

We have an icy mess of snow here. It is all hard and crackly and is melting and making icicles everywhere. I was supposed to get Ethan signed up for school and schools are closed AGAIN today. ugh!! Maybe tomorrow. Very annoying. I just want to get him signed up so I can meet his potential teacher and stuff. I am really hoping and praying he gets a great teacher for him. Oooooh, I nned to call Derek and have him work on getting our doctor stuff figured out. This is such a pain. I need to see the doctor, Ethan needs to see the doctor. Ugh!!

Oh, so for Christmas I got a pressure cooker. I am loving it but am wondering if anyone knows of great cookbooks for a pressure cooker. I got an electric one and it is awesome. I've made all sorts of fun stuff in it. Pot roast, risotto, chili, etc. Yummy!! Meg gave me a recipe for beef stroganof I think I may need to try too. Yum Yum!!

Well, I need to run off and make me and little bit here some breakfast.

Linda - I'm glad you didn't get too much snow and I hope that Mike got the day off. Can't he transfer into the warehouse or something at some point? Or maybe something supervisory or training?

Chris - Yay for not as much snow but boooo for an early morning useless phone call. I hope you get some scrap time. I think scrap time should be on your list, not after your list.

good morning. It's been a while again. I haven't scrapped since before Christmas. It really makes a difference when you have a project going. Ah well. I'll get back at it soon. I just opened my new sewing machine and made my first item! Yay me! I made a little shoulder bag for my dd without any pattern. It actually turned out looking like it was supposed to!! Now I can finally sew on all my boys cub scout patches! My oldest crosses over in a month and hasn't worn his vest in a few years. bad mommy.

We got snow last night so school was canceled. Yay! Gonna take the kids to the sledding hill at the middle school a little later. We only got about 2 inches. Just enough to make it pretty. They were clearing roads through the night in my neighborhood. We have locals with plows that are nice enough to help out.


Clara: yay for getting some sleep! Pooh for the bad weather. I can't believe it snowed so much in NC. You'll get to the school soon. We'll keep you and Ethan in our prayers for an awesome teacher!

Linda: aren't babies so much fun to chase all day long when they learn to walk! glad to hear you guys don't have to deal with the snow and ice.

Yvonne: hello, nice to meet you, I'm Katrina. I don't believe we've met. Clara introduced me to digiscrap just a few months ago so I'm pretty new here.

Meg: I would love to send you some of this snow. Maybe if I sent it airmail it wouldn't melt so fast? Good luck with the new store.

Chris: Schools love to call super early in the morning don't they? wow 15 degrees? Yuck. I hate the cold. It likes to seep into your bones and just stay there doesn't it?
 
Good morning ladies! (Kind of morning lol)

I'm feeling better and less whiny today. I didn't sleep very much again. It's getting to be really annoying. I fell asleep around 3 and was up at 7:30. I still feel like I have a lot of energy but I'm so tired that I don't know how I could possibly feel like that.

Chris - I'm glad it wasn't as bad as expected. I hate to admit this but I miss what *real* snow is like. I miss Reno with my mountains and 2 feet of snow. They closed all the schools and some businesses here the other day because of an inch of snow. It was ridiculous. I went out and walked 2 miles in it and they wouldn't even let kids go to school! lol
 
finally the kids are back in school WOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOO they were off monday and yesterday due to snow...UGH i hate snow days LOL.....anyways thats my news for the day....ohh and i made a new siggy today LOL
 
Meg - I totally know what you mean about the stomach ache after to much chinese! I think it is about the way they cook it (if you get it at a restaurant) Overhere we have 3 chinese restaurants nearby. And 1 of them, if we go overthere to get something to eat, next day we can count on going to the toilet toooo many times! LOL

For about 6mths I really didn't like anything that was even scrapbookrelated! But I'm getting over it. I actually thought this mood would never pass.

I'm always kind of jealous of ppl who can use a sewingmachine so good!! Just like Sally, she also makes the coolest things.

Clara, that reminds me, did you get the camera strap cover?
 
Yvon - well scrapbooking missed you, or at least I did. I've totally been missing your cakes. I did get a strap for my camera and you should too. It is so comfy and now my neck doesn't itch when I use my camera anymore. Thanks for the link. I'll check it out. Did you see Sally's Calendar holder she made? It is so cool.
