The Loopy-O
CHEERY O
Wheee! I am feeling back to normal this morning. I kind of went from goodish to meh, meh to decent, then meh to crummy throughout the day. POTS symptoms by dinner time were off the rails but they seem ok now. I kept putting my hand over my heart because it felt like it was going to bust out of my chest.
So far this morning my brain feels clear and no palpitations at all. *fingers crossed it stays this way*

Despite the heart rate discomfort, I got my desk cleaned up and finished my shopping order. Made a delicious roasted cauliflower and hoisin sauce over brown rice dinner. I finished my challenge LO and started week 2's AJ. I spent some time tagging my kits in ACSDee - I usually am much better with staying up-to-date with them but sheesh, I have some from last year that are still sitting in the To Be Tagged Folder.
I also got some good/relieving-ish news. We are *not* presenting at the ANJEE Conference this month. Have to admit, there was a tiny sliver of me that was disappointed but I got over that real quick! LOL I feel like I have too much going on ATM to deal with something so high-pressure (for myself). Now I am really looking forward to being there and checking out the different workshops. I'll take in all of the info without hyperventilating throughout the day.

I am picking up my groceries this morning and then cleaning the rest of my house. I need to keep an eye on Whisky's ear. We think she has some wax buildup, which is normal for her, but I'd rather not let it get worse if it's more than that.

I also need to keep an eye on my milkweed- we have 5 more monarch caterpillars! One looks very close to making its chrysalis, the others are still small. And one is the tiniest I've ever seen. 1/2 inch, if that. Plus, we saw what we assume was a brand new butterfly. Gary saw it walking on the ground in the garden. It was slowly opening and closing its wings repeatedly for a long time. It's been pretty dang exciting!

Sending all of you a big hug!
:hug4:

@MariJ has it been freezing in the mornings by you? The sun has felt nice in the afternoons, but I wish we had a few more hot days left this season.

I enjoyed my day at home yesterday but darned if I can remember what I did LOL.
Same, girlfriend, same!! :floorlaugh:
Have a wonderful time at the new nature park tomorrow. I hope that you get to see some new birds/wildlife. And if nothing new is there, I hope you enjoy what you see and the fresh air!

[BLERGH! I just got the grocery order confirmation link and they are out of stock of tofu blocks. I ordered 6 blocks for this week, Grrrr.]

@Terri M I wish I knew whether my info re: vaccines was correct or not. That's fab news that your CVS has it, good luck getting the Rx!
I'm still a Covid virgin.
Me too and I want to keep it that way! :praying2:

I ate a bug on my bike ride this morning. My calorie tracker app doesn't have bugs. I'm going to count it as protein.
Bwuahahahah! You are so funny! :rotfl:
Fun-ish fact- when we do the maple sugaring program, we talk about the difference in color/taste of the early season vs late season syrups. Late season is darker, richer flavored, and one of the reasons is that the bugs get into it. It's strained and boiled, but I have to laugh because maple syrup is one of the main substitutes vegan diets use for honey. Ironic, yannow?
The story of the Autumn Nocturne record sounds like a scrap page if you ask me ♥

@BrightEyes and @vickyday I hope you are both on the mend.
@AK_Tracy Hope you are enjoying your morning scripture and coffee time.
And to everyone I missed-- lots of love to you, too!

Yes! SO cold in the mornings I hate getting out of bed. But, yes the sun has been nice in the afternoons, I took the opportunity yesterday to wash my Fairy Garden pieces from two years ago and let them dry on the porch in the sun. It was so nice out with the sun warm. I think I saw it's supposed to be 80º on Thursday? We'll see.... Me too would have love a few more hot days, this back and forth makes me crazy! (er!). :heartpumppink: :beatingheart: :heartpumppink:

Good Morning!
I swear I am here all the time, just not seeming to type every time.

POTS symptoms
Do you take a b-12 methylated? I am finding that its helping me, but my POTS are minor. I'm trying to convince my daughter to take it and see if it helps her more severe symptoms. I take it at bed time so its in my system without me sweating it out LOL

I am enjoying my time. It was super hard to force myself to NOT turn on the computer first thing and get swept away in online life. But its been rewarding to start my day offline. I find the desire to get online less.

I have had fun creating some of this. months challenges and learning new skills. Its been super fun. This weeks been crazy busy and yep its only Tuesday. The leaves are turning on the trees FAST! I swear overnight its doubling in yellow leaves. Some have even fallen off already. And its not bright light when I wake up. I've seen sunrise twice now. Crazy but its fall.

Well, times up, must run. Dogs need food. Oh Nessie had surgery yesterday to remove the lump on her shoulder. Doc is sending it off to test since when he cut it open (the hard lump) it had "black stuff" inside. Not sure what that means but we will know when the report comes back. She's doing good but she's such a high energy dog its hard to keep her a little calm.

Have a wonderful day!

Good afternoon,
I'd like to say that my stomach issues are gone.....and thought they were.....until I ate lunch with Mark today and came straight home (after picking up a few groceries) and hit the bathroom! I've been feeling a sore throat coming on today. I'm hoping it is just from being out in the chill of the mountain air when I took Ilene and her friend, Penny, to the Widows' Retreat yesterday. Ruth and Kathy rode with us. They had never been to the Statesville Bible Camp where all of the retreats are held each year. It is a beautiful setting! I'll bet they woke up chilly today, however! If it was chilly here, and it was, I know they are about 10 degrees chillier than us being up in the mountains!
The headaches for Mark and I were better until today. They are back, if not as bad as last week.
Gotta run! Hope to be back later to do some challenge pages.
Have a great afternoon!
