CHEERY O
Happy Tuesday! How was everyone's Monday? Mine was blaaahhhhhhhhh. I stayed off of my feet for most of the day and was feeling fine by late afternoon, that I thought I was good to go to cook dinner. I had to get more BBQ sauce from the basement, moved the wrong way on the stairs and that was that.
I am so done with this. It isn't in my nature to sit and rest. I scrapped a page for October and posted a page from Amber's (CBD) new kit and I was happy with that. But my goodness, I am losing my mind.

I am happy for Caitlyn, she had her first two "on her own" advisory meetings and both of them went well. She isn't allowed to tell me anything about the students due to FERPA laws, like HIPPA but for students, but said that she was able to build rapport with them.
I proofread Scott's resume for him. His boss at the ecology center passed along a job opening to him and even though he doesn't think he is qualified, it was a kick to see his education and experiences down on paper. His attitude is that since he doesn't have the job experience they want, this is a great practice run. The ecology center still has him on the books as furloughed so if they ever get funding again, he will have a job, but that is one heck of an "if." (damn covid!)

I am asking Gary to drive me to ShopRite. The last thing I want to do is move wrong and not be able to get myself home. After that... :mmph:

Wishing everyone a wonderful day!! xoxo

Kay- I am so annoyed for you that you are still dealing with the computer issues with the last update. When my update came up a few days ago, I was so nervous that it was going to be the same. I hope that it all gets straightened out and that the 1TB computers come back in stock soon. You would think that they would have a lot with so many people and students working remotely. (I guess I answered my own question there)
That is not good that you are back in the boot. I hope that it feels better really soon.

Trudy- not only COVID, you have had so many family worries it is not surprising you are in a funk. (Just be grateful you aren't dealing with the US elections on top of it :pound: )
Any new updates with your ILs?
That is hysterical about the neighbor's son wanting a safe! Any chance he has a bratty little sister (asks a bratty little sister :D)?
I hear ya about working on the calendar pages, that has to be adding to the funky mood. (Again, just be grateful that you aren't dealing with the US/Elections/failing democracy/etc on top of COVID :frusty: )
Thank you for the healing vibes!!! I am sending more hugs to you and everyone. I am now dreaming of hugging my mom. Seeing her, walking up to her, saying F-it, and hugging her. Christmas is also looming in my head. As you know, that is a BIG holiday for her and the family and we have no idea if she will be here next year.

I LOVE the turtle!!!!! Gorgeous!! And the card is FAB!! You might be in a funky mood, but your creativity is still going strong!!

Cheryl- see, I knew it, I can't scare you off. Not that would want to.
My parents worked in Newark, NJ during the riots in the 60's-- I bet they would get enjoy comaopreing notes with your Chuck (My Dad and brother are both Charles/Chuck ;) ) Very cool that he saw Hoffa!!

Oh my goodness, that photo is too funny! I know that you have seen our "guess of Honor" skeleton in the Los I did of our Theme Nights. But we have a bunch of pics when we would randomly pose him around the house, sitting on chairs, looking out the window, on the toilet! You would never know where he would be. Caitlyn had put him in the shower once, his leg had fallen off and that was over the curtain rod. Do you have a link to the LO? Ava sounds like she is a trip!!
The property photos are just gorgeous! Will you get autumn color in the trees too?

Off to get ready....TTYS!!! xoxo

Quick in and out this morning. Have a Zoom meeting with the GI doc mid-morning. So I am up and dressed early. Have already had an email about up-dating info on Friday... all done. Then a phone call yesterday to verify that I have Zoom on the computer, know how to use it, etc. Today will be a call to make sure all is ready... then a call by the intake gal [getting insurance info, etc] and then can get on the Zoom meeting. Already have the link for it.

Cheryl.. love seeing the photos and well understand why you need an SUV or ATV to get around. So beautiful!!! LOL over the skeleton photo!!!

Chris and Trudy, I wish that 'home users' had the option to not install Windows updates but that went away a few years ago. If I tried to go back to before the update, I could lose all the kits/LOs/etc that I have done since then. And since the DVD drive is having problems, that is well above my ability to troubleshoot. Chris, I think you are right... with so many working remotely that would answer why there is a shortage of 11TB computers now.

Trudy, love the painting!!! and the card is fabulous.

Will try to pop back in later to check on things. Have a good day.

Morning ladies... I am up and showered and dressed, had my face time chat with Heather and Hunter this morning. Now waiting on the repair man to come to hopefully fix my wall oven. It is a beautiful sunny day and right now a bit on the chilly side, but supposed to be summer like temps by the afternoon! The leaves are changing quickly and it is so pretty! I am in a much better mood today! I got lots of things done yesterday, however finishing my next calendar page was not one of them. :mmph: I really am struggling with what pictures to use. Oh well it will be ok. I have lots of time to do them right?? I delivered a Norwex order to my hairdresser yesterday and had a nice chat with her, until a wasp decided that he really liked her and wouldn't leave her alone. She did not get stung, but man it was really pesky and she had to escape to the safety of her car. It was nice to get out for a drive and meet up with her! Also got the parcel mailed out to our DIL and let our Son know that it was on its way. He told me I was a bit early with it, but I don't want the same thing to happen as with Isaac's birthday card, so mailed it early just to be on the safe side. MIL and FIL will pop in sometime today to pick up the wine that we bottled for them, but I am sure that MIL will not come up our very steep driveway or do the stairs, so I will have a quick visit with her while she sits in the car. They seem to be doing ok, but then how would I know, as they never pick up the phone and call LOL. They are in town to go to the Hospital so MIL can get her heart monitor, so I hope to hear all about how that went. Hope to do some scrapping or card making today. Other than that a nice walk in the warm sunshine might be nice! I did go for a long walk yesterday and it felt so good to moving around!

Chris - Oh my gosh girl, you have to stop hurting yourself!! I am happy that you were more creative with your scrapping than I have been lately! BTW I loved your page done with CBD's great new kit! Yes I am very happy that I don't have to deal with your election drama, but we hear all about it on the news and just shake our heads, what else can we do??? I believe that every single Canadian is praying that Trump is done!! Thanks for the nice compliment on my painting and card!

Kay - Hope that all goes well with your Zoom meeting! Sure hope that your computer behaves well for it! Thanks for the nice compliment on my card and painting!

Cheryl - love the photos! You live in a beautiful spot! So nice to have the extra energy because the temps are better! Enjoy your walk today! Oh love, love the skeleton photo too!!

Ok the repair guy will be here any minute so better get going! Have a wonderful Tuesday everyone!

Happy Tuesday!! Ava and I have been shopping today - we went to Lowe's and I picked out all of my light fixtures! Also found two bathroom cabinets that I love so much and they were 1/2 off!! They're totally "farmhouse" even have the cross boards on the front and "feet" that make them look like a piece of furniture. Also 3 ceiling fans! I got the coolest lights for my scraproom. They're flush-mount and very big. They have 5 different lights - from bright daylight to ambient, evening light. I've never seen anything like them before. I was really geeked over the daylight.

Chris, good to stay off your feet! Hope you're healing. No girl - you can't scare me off! I love skeletons, remember??? Glad you all liked my picture. I have a picture of that layout somewhere - it might be in one of my albums, they're all packed away. I swear I just saw that layout in my google photos. I never can find something when I'm looking for it.

Kay, isn't it great to have online meetings with doctors????? If I never had to go back in, I'd be a happy camper. Glad you got a kick out of my pictures and yes, it's pretty rough terrain here. Sounds like maybe you're getting your computer problems straightened out??? I hope so!

Trudy, Glad you're feeling better today. The sun always helps, doesn't it? Love that I gave all of you a chuckle over the skeleton at the computer.

Chris, your parents and Chuck would definitely have a lot to talk about. They sound like very interesting people. Braden thinks Chuck should write a book.

The kids are coming back about 7 to eat pizza - Ava just stopped by to get money and she's picking up THE best pizza I've had in FOREVER. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it. Have a good evening.
