whoooo-boy! It is gonna be one of those days! No one wanted to get out of bed and everyone is running late and cranky.

So just a quick pop in to say good morning, to share some coffee and bagels.

I better get going because it is going to take me twice as long to get the kids ready and out of the house. Picture a mule not wanting to move. Then picture my kids faces on said mule. Hear said mules braying loudly in protest. That is what my morning is like.

Just another day here...I have Connor and Savannah...but tomorrow and Thursday I only have Savannah...so we will most likely be doing some things away from the house!!! :car:

Yesterday was kind of crazy....I spent quite a bit of time on the phone trying to straighten out our cell phones...Mike and I have the same ones, and they both keep powering down by theirselves....STRANGE...after endless waiting and then a mountain of TRIAL and ERROR techincal stuff...they looked up and found this phone has a design flaw...UUUGGHH! coudln't they have just done this to begin with?? So we have two replacement phones coming today....

After dealing with all of that...it on to dealing with our telephone and internet bill....appears there has been a significant increase!! ACCCKKKKK!!! Seems if you have a contract for a year, you get BIG discounts...

Okay....that's about it!!!

Everything was going well...and then......

1. Missing toothbrush

- apparently decided to make friends with trashcan.

2. Locate new toothbrush for kiddo (4 minutes to get out door)

3. Ready to go standing holding door..notice son's sneakers covered in mud??What?? When?? (2 minutes to get out door)

4. Apparently his other new sneakers went MIA....time for search and rescue mission. Sneakers located safe & sound "Hiding" next to son's bed. (..5 minutes passed
time we should have left!)

5. Get to school with 1 minute to spare....all waves & happy! On drive home realize :shock: forgot to put something in Nick's bookbag....:doh:

6. Go back to school and do the walk of shame :oops: to the office......

What a day and it was only 8:40!!! hahahahaha It can only get better right???

I'm almost afraid to pop in here without some awesome and crazy smilie to share. lol You all are the queen smilie users of the web!

Where is that coffee that was here the other day? I'm trying to cut back on real life coffee and that virtual sounds like it would be a winner. :tea:

Well I found out that my training will start on Wednesday, so this is my last day to enjoy the peace and quiet of being at home! I am starting work at the Safeway in the Deli. I used to work in the deli at Sobeys when we lived in Regina. Before that I worked for 16 years at the Scotiabank, I had to leave to take care of DD, but since moving back home, I have not worked for four years. I really was starting to get into a rut. Now that my nest is empty, I think its time for me to get back out there. So today I am going to spend as much time as I can right here :typing: I also have a new project for myself. I want to learn how to use Dreamweaver so that I can develope my own web site, so one day I can have a site for my B&B. If anyone has any pointers on Dreamweaver I would appreciate the help!! Have a great Tuesday everyone :wave:

We have done the same thing with our pool too ... GROSSNESS!!! Ugh!! :)

evening all - well almost- no internet at home this morning-so i guess that means my morning was like Chris and Nana and Linda? the toothbrush, muddy shoe person-argh- trying to decide whether to go to dance by myself or veg/ create at home
 
WOOO! HEY ALL! My computer has been on the fritz for a few days -- I had to pretty much let it sit a few days to discharge & then restart. Now it seems to be working :)

Chicken coop is almost done -- hopefully will finish it tomorrow AND get the ladies! It's been terrible trying to find a breed we like nearby that's either at the age to lay eggs, or close to it. Luckily, there's a young guy in 4h one county over who is selling a variety of breeds and ages for his project! 4H is like scouting -- but for farming kids :)

I sent the hubby to the store this evening to get me some chocolate -- it's that time -- so it was much needed. What does he bring back? Some sort of malted chocolate adult beverage mix, a mudslide? Lol, well, that's one way to cut the PMS!

KRISTA -- You changed your avatar!!! Nice picture :)

Trudy -- I use dreamweaver, it's best for people who code -- it isn't really suited for people who don't know how to code, even though it's a WYSIWYG editor. I would suggest starting a site using wordpress, and then just altering a theme to meet your design needs. Feel free to message me for more info :)
