Yes, ladies, September 1. Dang! This summer went so fast. Every year they seem to speed up. Last week I was wishing to have at least another week or two of summer.
I guess on the "up side" ATM, is that my family is making me soo crazy this week, I can't wait for the kids to go back to school. Now if I could only get Gary to go to work, or get out of the house. My brain needs some major alone time.

Sorry that I never made it back for personals yesterday, but it was probably for the best. I was in the worst mood in a long time. Everything I did, said, saw etc upset me. My family had me wanting to tear my hair out and bang my head against the wall until I passed out. Of course everything wrong in the house is "my fault" (according to the other 3) so if I bled on the wall, it would be just one more thing for me to clean up when I regained consciousness.

As you can tell, I am feeling very burnt out and bitter. I know I'll get back on my feet again, I always do :)

Good morning Dawn- glad that you are better! Just don't push yourself and get sick again. Give Davy bunny kisses from me. And wow- s/he is good- my dogs gave me up on weekends between 6-6:30. They don;t let me sleep in!

Andrea- how are the classes going for you? You have to make sure that you really block of "class time." I know how hard it is when I work from home, I really have to make myself "office hours" and not let myself be distracted or disturbed. (too late :lol:) How is Atha?

Such a relief that Gunar was able to save most of your stuff. That scares me- I have lost everything before, and I know it can happen again.

Kat- LOL about a load a day! Great news about your upstairs getting redone. Such a bummer that you didn't know about the leaks tho. The previous owner of this house tried to scam us on the septic. It had failed a previous test and was undisclosed. Just by luck, the guy we called to test for our home inspection remembered that it had failed before (he was the one who did it) and we were able to get her to replace it, Thank goodness, b/c that would have been a real expensive bummer!

Clara- I hope you feel better too- sending some cyber-chicken soup!

Dawn-- I am of noooo help right now, I wish everyone wouldl *poof* and disappear.... but really just for a couple of days, b/c then I would miss them all terrible. No advice as I am no where near that point..... but I can only imagine how hard it must be.
My parents "lost" me and my brother within weeks of each other. I got married and two weeks later my brother closed on his condo. I know it was a big adjustment for them.

Good morning "O" Family!!!! I so have to do a fly by today I have a massive migraine that I just cannot kick :( Will stop back later....hopefully it will calm down by then :)
 
I am feeling all bummy today. Hopefully I will feel better after some afternoon coffee.;) The boys have had two happy face days in a row. woot-woot!! I pray we go to chucky cheese friday. I want a pepperoni pizza, a big salad and some root beer!

Chris I hope u feel better soon I think u may need a day away.Every so often I get cranky like everyday and I realize I need some hours on my own to recover from daily life.
 
Hellllllllloooooooooooooooooooooo!!! Is anybody there? It sure is quiet today. Lots going on IRL. I am back at work today. My throat still hurts and I would rather be sleeping but it's not so bad.

So, I just did an evil thing and I love it. Ha-Ha-Haaaaaa (in evil witchy voice.) A lady who works here in the clinic has a daughter who does filing and they were talking about what she was going to do on her 18th birthday. I always thinkof the typicals, buy a lottery ticket, a pack of cigarettes and register to vote, but they were talking about tattoos and piercings and stuff. So guess what I threw in...lol...you got - skydiving. The almost 18 year old seemed to think it was an excellent idea after watching the video, but her mom...not so much and had a few things to say to me about it. It was kinda funny. I know, I am evil. Don't worry I wouldn't do that to any of you. I like you guys. I like her okay, but not enough to not talk her daughter into skydiving when it is one of the greatest experiences EVER!!!

Dawn - you need to start saving your pennies to do it next summer.

So, my plans to see DMB this weekend are changing a little bit. Not bad changes, just changes. I think we are going to ride with someone else now and use their nicer camper, but we have an extra camping pass and so I am trying to get somebody to come with us. Chris I think you should hop in your car and start driving. How fun would that be?

Chris - I am sorry you are feeling so horrible. Why don't families understand that a happy mama makes for a happy family and if you have an unhappy mama it doesn't help to pick at her because she gets even crankier making an even more unhappy family?? Silly kids and husbands. Derek seems to know that every once in awhile, but not very often. I hope things start feeling better for you. I hope the kids adjust to school well and their health stays in check.

Kat - stupid headache!!! I've never had a migraine but I sure feel for you guys that havethem. I'm a baby if I have alittle headache. I can't imagine if I had an actual migraine. I'm guessing I would think the world was ending.

LindaW - Yay for the baby!! She is gorgeous.

Dawn - Sorry to hear about your baby boy leaving the house. I hope he is sweet to you about it. Big hugs.

Clara - oh my word!!!! That Mom is probably freaking out *LOL* Evil evil evil.....:) Well the world isn't ending....but definitely makes it hard to function and ohhhhh I am so crabby!!!

Lori - Good to see you here and I love your Avi too cute!! We have never been to Chucky Cheeses as my son has an severe nut allergies but recently we look into it and it looks like we might be ble to try it :) Have fun!

Got paid, that was nice. But now it's mostly gone. Grrr. Don't you hate that? And Vince called to say he put some more money on his card. He has a special card that they use in lieu of cash over there, and he's already gone through $150 in the last two weeks. My question is, on what? It's not like they have bars, or even any restaurants. He has no expenses except smokes, what is he buying?
Oh well. Fairly soon (like in the next three or four weeks) I should get some of my college grant money, and then things will be a little less tight.
On top of all that, I Vicki's kit today. Hee hee! I know, I know, but I neeeeeeeded it! It's so cool!

Chris, school is going great! It's not as tough so far as I thought it would be. I was worried about the class participation, but it turns out that my years of experience in online forums has prepared me well for the class format! LOL. Yes, it's tough, tho, to do the reading etc when the kidses are all around. I'll have to develop a plan. I think that maybe if I can get Genny to chill out, maybe with a movie or something, while Atha is at school that would be good. That's a couple of hours a day right there, and then I can do the reading after I get the gals in bed.

And I'm sorry you were feeling so burnt-out yesterday! I have to say, I think that might be the worst part about a long deployment. You just get sick of being the sole person responsible for your household. I know you have a similar situation with your husband's medical issues. I hope you are feeling refreshed today! Mwah!

Okay, so in the middle of typing that, Gen walked up to me with sticky red stuff all over her foot, and she was like, "Oh nooooo!" At first I thought it was blood, and then I realized it was ketchup. Sure enough, she had splattered a McDonald's ketchup packet somehow all over Atha's American Girls paper dolls, which were from McDonald's. I got them a happy meal to share for a treat today after school. Ugh. I don't know how she managed to smuggle the ketchup packet into the living room, but she is resourceful. So I had to break out the spot cleaner, which made me notice how ugly the carpet is in here. Oh well, best just not to look too hard. I honestly have tried and tried to keep it looking nice, but it's just cheap carpeting I think, and the nap is all worn out. Oh well.

Atha's doing lots better by the way. We zinc-ed it up and that usually seems to cut down the sick time a lot, especially if you catch the cold early. Gals- Zicam is the stuff!

Lori- I love your pots! That's so cute. Hope you are feeling better, and I hope you get to go to C. E. C. I haven't gone there in ages. My son, he's grown now, but he used to love it when he was young, until one day he crawled through something icky in one of the tubes, and it traumatized him. LOL

Kat - I hope you are feeling better. I haven't had a proper migraine in ages, thank God, but oooh, I'll never forget that feeling.

Clara - You know what, I don't think your idea is that bad at all. The mom doesn't have to go, and if the girl doesn't like skydiving, she won't have it on her body for the rest of her life, right? I mean, don't get me wrong, I have 5 tattoos, but still. I love a couple of them, but the ones I got when I was really young... hmmm, would I do it again? Probably not.
 
Hi girls! I had an icky day at work. But oh well. Tomorrow is another day. =)

Chris - I'm sorry things are so rough for you right now. You know I wish I could make it all better for you.
Kat - Ugh..migraines are the worst. That stinks. I hope it goes away soon for you.

Ketchup Andrea! Blech. I have totally been there. And I hate, hate, hate our carpet. It's the original from the house. I understand where you are coming from.

oooooh, so some of you all are watching America's Got Talent??? Well....what do y'all think of the Chicken Chaser? Kevin Skinner? He lives in Mayfield which is 25 miles from me...we are all really rooting for him...although I'm not into country music much all all. I do like Garth, Trisha, Carrie Underwood, and Taylor Swift.
 
Sorry to cut this short tonight...this morning I couldn't get online, crazy internet. Now this evening I fought with my computer all night. I think something is going out on it, the fan is getting really loud. DH is going to look at it tomorrow which makes me really, really nervous LOL. Luckily, DS recently got me a 1TB EHD and I have all of my digi file zips on there and layouts and pics backed up there.
