Good morning O-zies!!!
How is everyone today? I am doing good- looking forward to spending the afternoon outside. The weather is going to be gorgeous here.

My house is almost back together which makes me breathe a big sigh of relief. *whoooooosh* Everything is cleaned and mostly put away. I have a few things that need to get packed up and back into the attic. That is the first thing on my list today. Then the rest of the day is mine.

Whisky was so darn mad at me for taking her to the vet. She would not look at me in the exam room. She stood stock still and refused to even glance at my face. I would call her name, ask for a kiss, and say she was a good girl. She would look right over me. She snuggled with me watching TV last night so she was happy with me again at least.
I smartly bailed on CC so I had time to catch up on some Cheery O things. I had two CP LOs to post and even scrapped a page for an October challenge.
This morning I am going to get some housework done, get my schedule ready for the week/month, and do some more scrapping.
This afternoon, I am going to work in the gardens as much as I can.
Scott and I are going to PA just for the day tomorrow to help my dad unload a cord of wood which leaves me just today to work on my own yard.
At least I love being outdoors:D

HAGD!

Good Morning!
Not much going on with me today.
My big feet tripped me up last night at Mark's daughter's house and I fell. Scraped up my knee. Landed hard on my right shoulder/upper arm and felt something give in my rib cage right under my breast. I'm not sure if I cracked something or not, but I am pretty sore today! Good excuse to take it easy and do some scrapping, LOL! As if I need an excuse!
Have a great day!

@BrightEyes I have my appt for the vax set for Friday and as soon as I know my lymph nodes feel ok, then I am making the appt for my mammo. I hope yours went well yesterday and good luck with your vax appt. That is today, IIRC?
I saw your Magical Designs page and the woman is stunning, just gorgeous! I can see why that kit yelled "Take me!"

@Cherylndesigns OH my goodness, what a story with the laptop. Such a relief that you got everything working again.
This was my favorite part:
Then I lovingly held it and told it I was so sorry and that if it just came back on, I would never put an open container beside it again.
I can see you doing this. 100%! And good for you for telling the machines that you were proud of them for still working too. They will remember your kindness if you ever spill anything on them again :D
The flannel jacket and sweater must be super cozy and adorable.

@bcgal00 I am really sorry that the housing fell through. I'd love to say the whole "things happen for a reason" and the "right" house is out there but I know better. That didn't help Caitlyn and Tom one bit when it was said to them, it only made it worse. The timing with B's birthday couldn't have been worse. :( I hope that focusing on the cruise takes some of the sting out of all of this. ♥

@vickyday I know that it might seem weird to Mark, but if he gets bad headaches and can't take meds, they make headache pillows, that might help. It's a microwaveable heat pack that has lavender in it. When I got migraines, I would use that as part of my arsenal. I would warm it up, lie down with it over my eyes for 10 minutes or so, and just breathe. It might be worth a try if he is in agony and can't take anything b/c of his stomach. It might help if he is feeling nauseous too.
I hope that you are both doing better today!

@taxed4ever I didn't get my CP LOs in the gallery until yesterday too so don't feel bad! I hope you and your Gary had a wonderful day yesterday and now you can kick him back to work LOL

Good Tuesday morning everyone, although it seems like a Monday to me. Yes I have kicked my DH back to work and have the entire day to myself :lovey3: I love that man to the moon and back, but my goodness he is very demanding of my time LOL! We did enjoy a lovely weekend together and got lots done! The day up at his parents was perfect weather wise and we enjoyed hot dogs cooked at the fire pit along side the lake. The lake is at record lows it is so sad to see. It rained all day yesterday, a nice steady rain, but still not enough to make much of a difference in the water levels. The next few days are full of sunshine and mild temps, the mornings are foggy and the dew is heavy, it certainly feels like fall! I managed to get all of my house cleaning :housekeeping:and laundry :laundry:done, so today will be a day of scrapping and working on a couple of Halloween cards for the kids.

@faerywings - Nice to have the house back to normal again! Sounds like the party was a big success and I am happy that you were able to enjoy it and were not stressed about it! Too funny about W giving you brush off at the vets :giggle4: isn't it amazing that dogs have such great personality!! I am glad that W loved you again in the evening and snuggled with you!! So nice that you and Scott will spend the day together tomorrow! Hope your Dad behaves himself and doesn't do too much of the heavy lifting himself. If he is anything like my FIL, he will have most of it done before you even get there .

@vickyday - Ouch sorry that you fell yesterday and I sure hope you did not crack a rib or anything!! I hope you feel better very soon! (pick up your feet girl) :giggle4:. Enjoy your day of scrapping and recovery!!

@bcgal00 - I am so sorry that things did not work out with the sale of your house and that you had to let the house in Alberta go!! So very disappointing for you all!! I hope that your cruise will lessen the sadness that you are feeling, it sounds like it will be an amazing adventure for you !

Well I will grab another coffee and see what has been happening around here over the past couple of days! I need to send out coupons this morning and get my layouts posted. I am very far behind, seems to be my normal LOL. Have a great day everyone! :cowwaving:

Thanks, I'll mention that to him! But normally if he gets a migraine he uses a water bottle filled with ice for his head. Not sure if the heat would help.

Dare I say it...it was only 51F when I got up this AM!!! :brrr::brrr::brrr: No opening the house as it was already cold enough!!! Yep-... high suppose to be in the low 70's all week - and into next week. I need to make sure my camera battery is fully charged as the Albuquerque International Balloon Festival starts on Friday and goes for 10 days! Sounds like the weather may cooperate this year with cool temps and no rain. So glad that I can stand in my yard and get photos of them going over our neighborhood.
And, of course, we are busy here at OScraps with DSD sales going on all week. I love the new OS collab - Autumn Magic. Just got it uploaded to the galleries.

Yes, @faerywings - this afternoon is the day I get the Covid shot. My mammo went fine yesterday - so quick and results were normal. We had a thunderstorm yesterday afternoon so I was glad it was done in the morning. So glad the party went fine and you have the house back to normal. Hope you get to spend some time working in the yard as I know how much you love it.

Oh, good grief!!! So sorry for your fall!

@taxed4ever Enjoy the day doing what you want. Yes, we loved our hubby - so nice when they are doing their thing while we do ours! How are your arms/hands doing??

Time to get my :showering:and get dressed. Then find something warm - but not too warm - to wear. Have to have short sleeves for the shot. HAGD

Good morning ladies. I am loving the cooler weather. It makes it much better for taking Remi to the park, she can run twice as long and not be as fatigued, so works off a lot more energy. I am organizing this week for the trip, need to print out all receipts and documents. I only have rome to book excursions for so will book the coliseum and vatican today, then all the excursions are planned. I sure hope my back cooperates and I get thru these 11 excursions we have planned, most are 8 hours or so. I'm used to walking so shouldn't be too bad but D will be suffering b/c he hardly walks at all but he insists he will do most if not all of it b/c he knows he may never go back there again so it would be a shame to miss out. We'll see.

We finished Departure last night (short season, 6 episodes). I have a few episodes of Firefly Lane left. Not sure what we'll binge tonight.

@faerywings Yes, I'm sure T&C would understand how I feel. But I am trying to hold onto the belief that it will all happen as it should, we'll eventually sell and find a good home in Calgary next year (if not this fall). We have a showing on Thurs so you never know.

@The river is low here too. The pond I went to a lot last year with lots of wildlife is mostly wet mud this year. Enjoy your relaxing day to yourself.

I'm getting coffee, going to do some CT work and do some de-fuzzing on some sweaters before heading off to the dog park later. HAGD everyone.

Good afternoon. Oh my goodness...I really used to be able to multi-task. But those days are so long gone... Anyway, I have had too many "in real life" activities. Played BUNCO last night. My first time and we had so much fun. And I'm trying to get through a book for book club on Saturday. The woman is a local author and it is her first book. I'm not really enjoying the writing...just doesn't "ring true" but I admire her for writing a book and I'm anxious to hear about the process.

And how did we get to the 3rd day of October???!!!! That means I am so far behind on all of my Cheery-O tasks. Why oh why?

@vickyday I sure hope that you are recovering ok from the fall. That could have been really bad...sounds like it was bad enough.

@faerywings I'm glad that you are recovering from the party. It sounds like it was a really good time.

@bcgal00 I will tell you that I was so discouraged last year when we weren't able to get the house sold. But I guess that they do happen for a reason because it did sell. I know you must be soooo excited for the cruise!

@taxed4ever your DH does keep you busy! I hope that you enjoy today, just puttering around and having some "me" time.

@BrightEyes I'm glad that the mammogram went well. Hope that the Covid vax went equally well.

I am back from getting my Covid shot... only had to wait about 15 minutes after signing in to get it. The arm is slightly sore and a bit warm so need to take a Tylenol. I did a couple of errands before getting the shot. Stopped by the Used DVD/Book store and ended up with 7 'new to me' DVDs.... and a couple of books from the Senior Citizen Center. Yes, it is like Fall - 72F right down. Glad I had on long pants while I was out. Going to get my meds and rest the rest of the day.

Well, I finally made it in here. What's going on around here with all of us getting "dropsy"? Vicky @vickyday I hope you're ok from your fall. Yikes that had to be scary. So, ya'll are getting or have gotten your covid vax, huh? I'm thinking I'm done. The last one, my second, left my arm sore and stiff. I stupidly got it in the same arm that I broke my clavicle on so that was dumb. I also had a knot in my arm that just went away. I will get a flu shot though. Those are available right now too, I think.

Chris @faerywings I KNEW you'd love that part about me holding my laptop and talking to it. I sat on the bathroom rug with it first, then held it in my lap in my office chair before turning it back on. What a scare it was - all I could think of was telling Chuck that I needed a new laptop!!!:killer::wardrobehide:

I've been outside most of the day - I have my work boots on - you know I'm serious when I put those on. My "clod hoppers". LOL I broke down and hired the kid who works for Roger, for a few hours. Roger is out of town again, so he didn't have any chores for Jaxon today. He got SO much done - the back patio was a mess - beyond me. I was out there with him for most of the time and he really helped me. He even laid more mulch for me. Those bags are so heavy, and Braden usually does that kind of stuff. Jaxon is B's best friend and is a Senior this year. I had two huge clay pots that I lugged from Florida, (they each weigh at least 100 pounds) and he carried those up to Adrienne's. She wanted them for around the pool. Roger had originally bought them for us when we all lived down there, so now they went back home to them. Full circle. :lovey3::lovey3:

About the side-eye from the dogs; we have the "Doodle Eye". Daisy is the best side-eyer or refuses to look at us, but is really looking at us the whole time. Doodles have beady eyes, hence: "Doodle Eye". She's so furry, it's hard to see them sometimes. Dogs really ARE the best, as you said, Chris @faerywings.

Hugs to everybody. XOXO
