The Loopy-O
CHEERY O
Hey there, how are all of you this fine Tuesday? It is sooo dark out! Don't like that, it feels like it is still the middle of the night.

I survived cleaning my neighbor's room. It took me about 4 hours and I didn't break anything. Score!! He collects old cameras, movie projectors, microscopes. 100's of them. Literally 100's. Each one had to be picked up and dusted and any cobwebs had to be cleaned off the shelves. But its cool to see old stuff like that. We "donated" our old digital camera to his collection too- it was funny to see that again. I think it was less than a megapixel and was the size of small photo album!

I am of fto work later on and I also have *got* to get this desk/calender/bills/emails under control!

Tip on Tuesday
Anyone have anything good?

::grouphug

Linda S! buhahahahah!! What is about kids and complaints? :D Hope you survived the the night!

Phyllis- he actually doesn't have a system, which I suppose is GOOD! He is an artist and only sees the "flow" which makes life very interesting for his wife who is a chemist! They are really neat people.
Right now, I feel like I can't wait for the day where I am not on someone's else's clock or as someone else's taxi, but I bet when I am I'll be like my mom and feel lost without that structure. heh.

Donna!!! How cool for your mom to see your page of her! Bet she was so proud! That is cute with your son- boys will be boys, no matter the age, right?

Terry- Time sure speeds up as we get older, its crazy! Hope DH is feeling better and the sick stomach passed.

There's our NANA!!!!!!!
Oh man, why were the kids out of school so much? Doesn't the school district know that you need that time?? :D:D:D
It sounds like you had a really fun weekend. I can't wait to see the amazing pages you do with the pics.
What's up with your mom??? Is she just under the weather or more than that? Hugs to you both.

Trudy- good luck with working this week too. I have 4 days of cleaning/working and I really get bogged down at home if I don't have that time to deal with stuff here.
Sounds like a wonderful visit with your brother. Wish I could go to AU with him,. Bet you do too!

Nancy- you have a great attitude about work and life!

jen- hey girl!!!! How did the dr go? Do you go very week yet or are you still every other week? Hope that you are getting time off of your feet too!!

xoxoxo to all of you!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Morning O fam- I am back home from my weekend jaunt- which was great fun until late Sun eve when I felt that my stomach was not settled. I was right. We did not get to do the Louisville Slugger Museum- next visit- I spent most of the day when we go home, lying on the couch. However, today I feel nearly normal- except for my right butt cheek as I sat on an eyeglass case the entire way home and apparently bruised myself- that is how awful I felt on the way home- I didn't even realize it. The best part- just did my workout and weighed myself and I am down 2 pounds since last week, so I did not gain and I was away and off my norm- go me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Morning ladies.... Coffee is tasting very good this morning!! It was ready and waiting for me. I was actually organized enough last night to have it set to brew before I got up this morning. Dark, Dark outside this morning, I should still be in bed  Another full day and then I have tomorrow off at least. I think this week will go by quickly, I have so much to do here at home and its really bugging me that I don't have the time or energy to get it all done. So Chris I know exactly how you feel :becky:

Chris - Wow it took you 4hrs to clean that one room!! Bet its sparkling!! Such tedious work!! Sounds like an interesting collection, so glad that my MG is not a collector. He has a few sports things that he loves in his man cave, but that's about it. He's much to OCD to be a collector, it would drive him crazy to have too much clutter!! LOL.

Laurie - Sorry that you were not feeling well after your weekend getaway, hope the tummy is better today! Yay on losing a couple of pounds! That's a bonus! Your body will be grateful that you are back to your regular routine I'm sure! Bet it was fun though!

 to everyone else that pops in here! I wish I could spend the day with all of you, but I gotta hit the shower. Have a great day everyone!!

Good Morning!!! Going back to Mom's to do some more work today...

She only has one lung...she had to have one removed at 12 yo....and she has always had breathing issues..but has always managed to keep it under control...but she got some sort of respiratory thing about a month ago, and she can't seem to get things under control. I am worried. She has an appointment Friday with the Lung dr....so hopefully he can help.

Mike cleaned out the flower beds and pruned her two Crapemyrtle trees...and I cleaned out her back bedroom and scrubbed the bathroom and vacuumed...gotta mop the floors today....and Mike is going to take her and all the junk we cleaned out yesterday to the Breast Cancer donation store across town.

I see sometime in the future (probably not as far away as I would like) moving in with them...I will be taking care of them and my kiddos.....PLEASE PRAY FOR GOOD HEALTH FOR ME....No way I can do it all and end up sick myself. But this will be another type of opportunity for us....we will sell our house when it comes to this and buy some land and save the money we need to build another house in the country. So I am trying to see the positive in things as well. Planning for the future is a lot different than what the plans used to be :-(

Anyway....on to my little man Jesse....................boy did he get in trouble yesterday...HE HAD A REALLY BAD DAY....different things he did all day landed him in the red at at school and finally in the principal's office....and to put the icing on the cake, he took his green crayon from school, and while on the bus, he colored over the red dot and the note that teacher wrote to me and got off the bus loudly and excitedly hollering "I WAS ON GREEN TODAY" and then proceeded to tell me that the teacher made a mistake and wrote some stuff on his folder and put a red on there but marked over it in green......................THIS TROUBLES ME!!!! HE IS THIS SNEAKING IN FREAKING KINDERGARTEN???????????????????????????

Do I quietly in mind be happy that he is so creative??? WTH???? UUUGGHHH!!! yes....he spent the entire afternoon and evening in his room....only allowed to watch a movie.

DO I HAVE WHAT IT TAKES TO GET THROUGH THIS??? :pray2: I told him "Jesse, you have the misfortune of having your Nana raise you. Not only do I remember how I tried to get away with stuff from my Mom, but I have been through this with your Mother and Aunt Sharon as well. So if you think you can pull a sneaky trick on me...THINK AGAIN BOY!!!"

Again...........................pray for me that I don't lose my mind!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hiya, O-zies. just finishing up my morning time at the computer. started a new page, visited the diabetes workshop page where i'm enrolled in a d-class put together by Stanford. it's probably going to be a waste of time. i can already spot the whiners in the discussion section (aren't i mean?? but honestly, there are always those people who don't want to ACT, but just want to complain about how things ARE.) and i have the feeling that the official line is going to be to push the ADA line of how to eat. which is crap. ah, well.

Laurie, YAY on your weight loss and resolve. you amaze me, girl! :cheer2:

Trudy, looking forward to Wednesday? DAY OFF!! :becky: you deserve the Friend of the Month award for doing this work marathon for your friend.

Chris, i would have loved to see you tackle that room. if i had someone like you around here, i would turn you loose on my "mess room." that's the room upstairs we use as an "attic." in there are random pieces of furniture, luggage, paper scrapping stuff, excess lamps, picture frames...etc., etc., etc. a total mess. my DD once cleaned that room for me as a birthday present. best present i ever got!

gotta go get a wedding card. one of my nephews got married secretly last week. never even told his parents. he's been dating the girl for a while. it was totally odd. then i have some random things to shop for here and there. it's going to be 75 degrees here today, which should make galivanting around the area pleasant.

have a swell day. pretend it's 1965.

Good morning - sun is shining in NJ but it might rain later - no plans

LindaW - I still remember my sister burying her school work in the desert on the way home from first grade so not to show our parents LOL - are kids being sneaking, scared of getting yelled at or just hating to be disappointing to their parents probably a combination of all this - so hard to be a parent and a kid - hope your mom gets her breathing under
control.

Chris his collection sounds so interesting - four hours is a long time

Laurie - hope you are feeling much better now - congrats on exercise and weight loss

Have a great day!

Just got home from the hospital visiting dad. He was much better today. He's gotten lots of cortison + antibiotics, so I guess that's why. He was still tired, but he was joking and much more like himself. He said he don't even remeber Saturday & Sunday at all. Tomorrow we will know more, a specialist at the region hospital that have looked at his xrays will call.

Also tomorrow my sister have her surgery to remove the growth. She will be in hospital for 10 days because in the beginning the swelling from the surgery will make it inpossible to breathe, so she will have to have a tube in her throat for breathing.

What I want today is to sink into the sofa - watch a feel good movie, knit on my mittens, and eat candy for dinner LOL

Eva, so glad your dad is feeling better! i hope he's home soon. the hospital is just not the greatest place to have to hang out. your sister's surgery sounds scary. i'll be hoping for all good thing for her. and for you.
