Wow, it was so cold here all day yesterday, but today it is going to warm up a bit. Since we had a frost, I can get those seeds planted today.
Can I just say how I adore my kids? They are so fun. We went to the pumpkin patch that we have gone too the last - don't even know how many years- and they did the same routine that they do every year. They pick up the pumpkins, examine them, rate them on their shape, color, stems, the whole bit. They compared one pumpkin to me and rated us on Fashion Sense, Sense of Humor, Color, and some other things I can't remember. The Pumpkin won and was declared their new Mom.
After we get them, we go to the animal area, where they have chickens and goats. Scott is exclaiming over and over how it "is the best day of his life!" because he is feeding a goat and chickens! Then we so the pumpkin triva game (you would think we would know all of the answers by now!), wave good bye to them all before we leave. We had discussed if we should go with Leah and Brendan, but they wanted it to just be the 3 of us.
Everyone should be here on Saturday, so the plan is to carve pumpkins, roast the seeds and watch Hocus Pocus.
RD appt went well. When she compared Cait's food intake from when she first went there 3 months ago, it was shocking. But she is making slow and steady improvements which is perfect. We are going to go back to see her after Cait sees her Lyme dr, who had told her he wanted her to gain 10 pounds which is something you don't say to some one with a history of an eating disoorder . She will help Cait reassess, fine tune what needs to be done and we'll go from there. I still cannot believe that this is a free service for anyone.
Today is going to finishig up the yard clean up. Getting ready for food shopping tomorrow. Scrapping???? I hope so!
hugs and love and all good stuff!!!
