BRRRRRRR!!!!!!! It is 31* right now! :gaah:
WTH????? Was I really outside in a t-shirt and shorts a few days ago? Yikes.

We went from Summer-ish to Fall to Winter in just a few days. By the end of the week, it is going to be back near 70* -- and guess where I am going with my mom? We are hitting the beach on Friday! We will just be sitting and reading for the afternoon but it will be nice to do that on last time before next season.
I will soak up every tiny little bit of sun and warmth that I can. I wish I could bottle it up.

Our ShopRite is undergoing major renovations and yesterday was the first time I had been there in three weeks. What a mess. But I got what I needed, actually had decent coupons and got out of there at $100.
I made the dogs (and rats) their sweet potato and oatmeal cookies which they all love. I had no luck with the printer. I thought maybe it would un-error itself. Totally did not cooperate. Bah humbug.

I am still working on a LO for Joanne's challenge. It takes me on average 3 days to finish a LO at this point. Just nothing is coming together and I hate it all. I am sad that I always feel so uncreative and depressing lately. This too shall pass.

Today is a quiet one for me. I don't have to be anywhere so I will work around here, play with the dogs, fight with my tech. You know-- the good stuff.
I will be doing all of that while wearing slippers and wrapped in blankets.

OMG, felis-- that is horrible to hear that you lost all of your pages. Just heartbreaking. I am sorry that I have no advice.
I love my mom too but sometimes she gets very negative, especially about my dad. It is hard since I usually am a pretty much try to see the good in everything and she tends to see all of the bad. I hope that today is a much less stressful day for you. hugs!

Nancy- that is so cute to hear about Luther down the shore!! I can't wait to see your pages of that, Make sure you let me know when you post them so I don't miss it.

Rae- I can close my eyes and see Taz on the beach rolling in the sand with his fluffy fur! Ray hates the water-- I know, a lab with a fear of water?? crazy LOL We haven't taken Jaida to an area where she can swim and we obviously haven't with Whisky either. Next spring we will take them to the big dog park that has a river through it and see what they can do.

Trudy- :whoo: on the party!!!! Sounds like you did great!! I was so nervous when I did the Faery-Wings workshop last year and that was only in front of a few teenagers.

Jean- So many days I wish that I could take a nap like "normal" people/ I feel worse after a nap than before which is why I try to keep plugging along. Hope that you were able to get one in and felt great afterward.
How close to being "finished" on the church records are you?
And yes!! I don't care if I have to sit on the beach in layers of sweats, I can't wait to get down the shore

good morning - it is like so chilly in my house and it is past Oct 15 so I can turn on my heat just to get rid of the chill. I actually did dishes so my hands would be warm. It is to be back in the 70s by the weekend so just this one day of heat but darn if I am going to be in 40 degree house. Well I called the water company and they assure me I have a meter LOL. Well I can't wait to find it. So I am stuck inside until they come sometime between 9and noon. But on the good side I have a Devils game tonight. We are playing the Tampa Bay Lightning and they are a really good team so we will see how we do. I finished the book Power and I loved the ending. Yankees won as their batters finally hit.

Chris I know what is it with the weather. We have had such a nice fall that I just was not prepared to be so cold LOL but it is going to warm up and I think you will have an awesome day at the shore. Glad shopping was a success.

Felis OMgosh losing all those Los and photos. I wonder if some other computer might be more able to read your disc. That can sometimes happen. I hope everything get worked out for your sister and her package and relationships with parents mothers are always hard.

Trudy that is awesome about your party. Great job but it helps it you have a good product to sell. I think it is cute that your throat was dry. No matter our age I guess we all get nervous.

Rae wow you are so organized. We are having burgers tonight too. With sweet potato rounds instead of potatoes. I wish we had a area for Luther to go in a river or creek but around here too many chemicals in the water. They treat the water to kill of the algae and I don't want Luther in that.

Jean I love my naps. I take one just about everyday. I allows me to stay up later. I have been taking one since I was in high school. How funny is that. Good luck finishing up the German search.

Morning ladies... It is a wet and windy day here today with wind warnings for the whole west coast. A pretty gloomy looking day, but thats ok its fall and at least its not snowing LOL. I hope to get to the pool to do some laps and then work on a few more calendar pages. I actually got another one done yesterday.

Chris - Ugh sounds like it is very chilly for you and Nancy! I sure hope it warms up a lot more for your trip to the shore with your mom! Yes soak up all those wonderful sunny rays while you can and enjoy the relaxing day with her! Must have been hard to maneuver around the store while they are doing renos, happy that you managed to get some good coupons and got your shopping all done! I am having the same trouble with trying to get layouts completed, seems my mojo is non-existent and I am using some pages that I have done over the year for my calendar pages so a couple of them have come together pretty quickly. Its anything new that I seem to struggle with. Hopefully both of us will get the scrapping bug again soon and we will be back into creative mode soon!

Nancy - Yikes you must have been really cold to wash dishes just to warm up LOL. So funny that you still can't locate your water metre!! WTH?? where on earth could it be? Have you checked the attic LOL. Hope your Devils continue their winning streak for you tonight, DH and I were talking about how good your team is doing so far this year, seems they have really found their groove! Enjoy the game tonight! Cheer loud!

Ok ladies I have to get to the pool before it gets too busy. I have already had a chat with Heather and Hunter and they are doing well, Hunter is so cute and smiles a lot now, I can hardly wait to see them all again! Weather has changed and now I look out the window and can see blue skies and no wind at all. WTH we are supposed to have this big storm oh well I will take the nicer weather for sure! Good morning, ladies. Busy morning (ha ha...isn't it always??). I'm still trying to get used to my new schedule with extra work (it was supposed to start Nov 1st but started last week).

It was raining so hard last night and the wind was howling, that Taz refused to go out to pee after dinner. I started to feel tired after 9:30 so by 10 I was ready for bed, tried to take Taz out one more time but nope, he just stood there in the downpour, ears flat, tail between his legs, and would not pee. So I went to bed, knowing that he probably would get me up early, needing to get out. Yep, he did....at 5:45. So I took him out and then sat quietly in the kitchen reading my book, as there was no sense going back to bed.

I've got a scratchy throat and was overheated all night so I think my body is still battling some virus. Ugh. But I'm being diligent, using my EO immune system blend every day and hoping it doesn't progress. I can function, I just don't feel my usual energy and need cough drops for the scratchy throat. This time of year is the worst for me with my mold allergy that always gets triggered by the fall foliage which is ironic b/c it is my fave time of year and yet it always makes me sick LOL.

Chris - hope the weather clears for Friday for you. I love ShopRite, I buy most of our vitamins there with their sales. Even with the exchange, it is cheaper than home.

Nancy - hope they don't keep you waiting all day, maybe they've already come and gone, so you can get on with your day.

Trudy - I was just looking out and saw sunshine too but they said another storm front is coming today. So I'm getting out of here to run a few errands while its dry out. Have a good swim.

No nap yesterday, but slept well last night. Today is sunny and a little warmer, looks gorgeous. I think we're going later to get flu shots, oh joy!

Chris, I'm so glad you're planning on the shore trip and especially that it will probably be nice. Making cookies for the dogs and rats just sounds sweetly ridiculous. Love it! Hope you make some headway with the printer but still relax today.

Nancy, your water meter location is giving us all a giggle. The other day my DH referred to ours and I didn't know where it was either. But he at first didn't believe where I said our electric meter is. Ain't life grand? Good luck to your Devils. Sure is nice how they started the season.

Trudy, sorry you and Chris are having a hard time scrapping. You both do beautiful ones, so I guess you just have to give it time. I've been having fun with it lately, but one I did yesterday still has me wondering if it looks like what I actually wanted. Not a good sign. Hope the pool was great.

Rae, sorry you still feel ill! Not a good time to have such a heavy work schedule and Taz waking you early. Hope it all improves quickly.

Today was much like a replay of yesterday.
I spent yesterday evening in reading of PC World and download a programs for recovering data and the biggest part of today in tries to use them. I found two good, but both are paid, so for now I'll wait the Black friday or Christmas for some discount offer, because they are expensive for my income. Actually most of these layouts aren't nothing special, but I really need to bring back these which was of my beloved children. It's painful to lose part of the memories which are becoming precious. I really need better system! I organize them on the timeline and often don't save copy of the scraped photos. All this was decision for saving space, but now I realise how wrong is it.
Looks like my sis will move the question with the order easier than we expected, which is good, but she also spent much time to make screenshots and reading how to fill in the necessary declarations.
I feels like the Nature makes some very cynical joke with us. Here was so warm (for t-shirts) and in same time our friends in Ireland struggling with this awful storm. All is with the heads down. Hugs and prayers for all good people (and animals too) on the island!

Chris, thank you for your saying, you understand me so good, about my mom and the whole situation! Your plans for the beach sounds like a great idea, hope you have fun! I can believe but I'm not made Joanne's challenge yet, even I was so excited. I saw your page and it is adorable! I feel at the similar way like you described about my page for this month Style challenge, in some moment I got angry because I couldn't figure out did the limitation of the program that I use or my skills are the problem, but I just can't make it to looks like was in my mind. So I'm still not ready to post it.

Nancy, I hope that the guys from the water company aren't left you to wait them the whole day! I still imagine the searching for the water meter like very comic situation, I'm interesting to hear the details! Totally understand you for the chilly house, we start to use heating for few hours at most of the nights.

Trudy, congrats for the success of your party! Hope you had one of these 'private time' moment at the pool today!

Rae, sweet Taz, looks like this isn't his favorite time at all. Did he feel better now after the turkey?! I thought about him. How bad that you have mold allergy , I can understand you completely, because I have something similar at the spring. Hope you overcoming it fast! I guess this create you even more troubles till you are trying to make your new schedule in routine.

Jean, I so love this page about the cat you post yesterday. I really have to find time to put comments at the gallery! So good that you have good weather today, hope you are take a walk! We made one really good, and saw many crows.
