I had better hold onto something, it sounds like the wind is gonna blow me away as soon as I go outside. We have a cold front moving in, and the trees are whipping. But the sun will be out at some point so that is good.

How is my O-Fam today? Did everyone recover ok after Nana teased us with thinking it was November/ LOL It kind of feels like it should be more into Nov-- my family has been discussing Thanksgiving plans, Christmas gift ideas- I even got invited to my neighbor's house for New Years.
I am not sure if I should be happy to have some things settled or if I should freak out a bit. Maybe I should do both hehe!!

Off to work in a bit... some days I get really tired of making other people's houses clean and shiny and my own is a wreck. Oh well, what can you do? (Besides clean my own house which I am working on slowly but unhappily!!! :dizzy:)

Nancy!- No need to thank us, just pop in and read/comment/blab as much as you like-- the more the merrier!!!

Phyllis- my MIL has been trying to get me to learn how to quilt for years-- its not for me either but she is seriously talented and creative. She taught Caitlyn, who was very good at it, but as she got older, she is now "too cool to quilt." Hopefully in a few years, she will pick it up again.

Donna- must check out your gallery-- its always so amazing! Happy for you that you got your scrap-fix!!

Terry-- sounds like your weekend was wonderful! I get in those moods too, but usually on the days when I am not going to be home. I wonder if my subconscious does that on purpose!

Jen- Saw some new photos of yours on FB-- can't wait to see how you scrap them!

Trudy-- OMG,m that is WONDERFUL news for your DD!!! It sounds liek the perfect opportunity for her. I hope she gets it and all of my fingers and toes and eyes are crossed!!!!!!

hiya. Chris the same wind that's blowing you away woke me up yesterday at 4:40 a.m. i thought someone was walking in the house because the floor creaking woke me up! well, hang on to your hat. but it's over really quickly. it lasts just long enough to wake you up, :scared: then it's gone.

Trudy, what wonderful news!! i hope your daughter gets the job and LOVES it. how great is it that it's so near her house?!!

Terry, is the meeting you're preparing for the one with the bickering partners?? if so, good luck with THAT! sounds like you had a beautiful time at the shore. Photos?? Pages? i gotta see the Pacific! it's been a while.

today, i have to finish up the 80th BD invites for my aunt, then go off in search of lower fat string cheese, my snack of choice. my local megaGrocery is falling short these days in about 100 ways. why is everything so annoying these days? or is it just me?? :mmph:

i was up WAAAY too early again, so it's probably a good idea for people to keep their distance! see how lucky you are to be my CYBER-buddies?? i'm probably lucky too, that you're all so far away. i'd hate for you to see me in real life on a bad day.... :rant:

happy Tuesday. complain about something. it might make you feel good.

Good morning folks! I was up early--earlier than normal. wonder what is going on here?

I'm going to take time this morning before I start work and catch up on some scrapping things---posting some love in the gallery, reading blogs, filing away some of my completed LO's into correct folders on my computer,........important stuff!

then it is work. Yes, Phyllis--the bickering doctors. Although this meeting should not be too bad. I have some people coming in from out of town to meet with us---big wigs with a company we contract with. So--should be no bickering at this meeting. I had to schedule the bickering meeting for the last week of the month. Now that it is getting dark earlier--I'll be spending the night and coming home the next day. I have to travel a pretty desolate road---don't like to drive too long in the dark. Not a smart thing.

Laurie--I work like crazy before going on vacation. then work like crazy when I get back. Often wonder if it is worth it. Where are you headed on your vacation?

Chris--cleaning your own place is no fun. Can think of a lot of other things I would rather do than clean my house.

Phyllis-don't you hate it when the grocery store falls short of stocking what you want? I hate it. Seems like I have to go to two stores when I shop--just because one doesn't have everything.

I loved your comment--complain about something.!!

good morning - today my youngest is getting a real civics lessons - he has jury duty LOL -
this means I get the day to myself so I can scrap to my hearts content. A beautiful sunny day

Phylis - my son or my hubby do all the grocery shopping I just make the lists I am so lucky

Trudy - sending good thoughts for your daughter!

Morning "O" friends!! Fabulous news!! My DD got the job!! I am so excited and Happy for her!! She starts the job on Friday, she will be doing books for this lady that makes robot educational toys for children and she needs Heather to do her books, help with orders and even to travel with her to schools and museums to demonstrate her craft. How great is that?? She will work out of this woman's house on Monday and Friday and then can work at home the rest of the week if she needs too. I can't tell you how proud I am of my DD she has worked so hard to get to this place and I am so happy for her that she has arrived!!! I am bursting with pride!! Thanks for sending out those positive vibes for her!!

Chris - Windy here also, must be a system that is showing up everywhere today! The backyard will be a mess from all the surrounding trees, hope it hasn't blown off all the beauty of the fall from the trees too. Hope you get your house cleaned, perhaps it will make you feel less stressed about it. I would come and help you clean if I could!

Phylis - Sorry that you did not have much sleep again last night, WTH is it with us women and our poor sleep patterns, there has to be something we can do to get a good sleep EVERY NIGHT!! Love your complain about something comment!! Hope you can catch a nap sometime today! Good luck finding your string cheese, so annoying that the grocery stores can't seem to stock the shelves with the things we are continually looking for.

Laurie - Getting ready for another vacation? Must be nice!! Hope you get all your work caught up before you head out. Where are you going??

Terry- Have fun getting all that important scrapping stuff done this morning!! So much more important than that other work stuff LOL!! At least I think it is!

Off to work for 4 short hours, hooray!! I will be home shortly after 11 so I should have the rest of the day to perhaps get on the treadmill and do some much needed scrapping!! I love it!! :wave:

Nancy. how the heck does anyone get their hubby to grocery shop?? i can't even imagine what would happen if i turned mine loose in a grocery store. i'd probably have to send in the RCMP or the U.S. Army to find him after a few days. and he STILL wouldn't have done any shopping.

Phylis - My husband's mother was not a cook. He grew up on TV dinners so when he went to grad school he learned to cook and shop. We used to alternate grocery shopping but I really hate it and cooking. So when the boys were born they bonded with their dad by going to the grocery store together. Joey made it a game. Joey does most of the cooking. Now Zach does the cooking and grocery shopping in his marriage. Chaz shops but not much cooking. Joey and Zach love to find sales but me it is just in and out as fast as possible. I feel I have done a wonderful job for their wives LOL.
