Day Two of chilly, rainy, and windy weather. Unfortunately, today I have to leave my house but only for a half-hour to pick up my groceries but that is not a big deal.

I have no real idea of what I did yesterday. Housework, fought with ShopRite.com. Gave myself a headache over that! Today will be more of the same. One thing I have to do is make a card for my SIL's birthday this week. I don't have a gift for her and I am in no mood/financial shape to go shopping.
I was in such a mood to make apple crisp yesterday but my brain wasn't capable of following through. I might so that today. I have to find a good recipe with lots of crisp. Anyone have a good one?

I honestly don't have anything else to say, everything is just same old, same old here. I hope that whatever you are doing, you are having a wonderful time!
Hugs!

Hi Rae!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is so good to see you! Happy Thanksgiving. Did you have a nice holiday, how is Bailey doing? Have you been able to see her more often? Is Jen good too? Sorry for bombarding you with questions :p
Healing vibes to your back are coming your way. I will have to check out Altered Carbon, I haven't heard of that one but I know we watch a lot of the same stuff.

Cheryl- I have always had vivid dreams, I can remember some that I had when I was akid. And the worst dream of when Scott was a toddler (he was born with a heart defect) and his cardiologist told me he was going to die and I can *still* see him in his Batman PJs in the dream. And I still get emotional. *chest tightens a bt*
I also had dreams since Thursday that I need to get another breast biopsy done, of course I would dream that, since I am waiting for my mammo results *wink* Gary almost never remembers his dreams. My mom has vivid dreams but after her mom passed, she dreamed in b/w for years. Crazy, right?
Gary and Scott have full-on pun conversations at dinner. Cait is really good at it too. I don't have a sense of humor. hehe. I can't make up my own jokes and definitely not on the fly like the rest of my family.
How wonderful to have more family with you this weekend. I can't remember- how many family houses will you have together? It has to be so exciting to see them coming together. When will everyone be "officially" moved in?
I hope that Daisy and Harley get to be good friends! The scrap material of them will be fun to work with!

Hi Chris. We had a quiet dinner, my back doesn't allow me to sit or stand too long yet (have to lay on the gym mat on floor a lot) but I did manage to put a ham in the oven for dinner and when D brought B over in the afternoon, she and I made muffins together. We had dinner when J got home from work and then she drove B home in the evening. I was exhausted and slept like a log.

Altered Carbon is a sci-fi and its action packed and full of surprises. We really love it. Did you see the Umbrella Academy? We really liked that one too, more humor in that one. Next on our ilst is Ozark.

Hope the kids, your parents and G are well.

I'm getting to work now. I quit one client to reduce my work hours but will stretch my workload out over the day with lots of breaks to take care of my back. I have to sit in a regular office chair for work so that I can have feet on the floor to press the foot pedal for transcribing but for my scraping/computer stuff, I can now use a kneeling chair which takes the stress off my lower back. I love it. So it means I'll slowly get to start scrapping more again.

Take care and have a great day. BFN

Good day - I like Chris am already tired of this cold and rainy weather. And I am watching this show that Call the Midwife and it makes me cry. I can only watch for so long when I have to change. The stories are great it is just they tug at your emotions so much. Amazing me how far medicine has come and yet how far we have to go. My son and his MG are bring dinner. I swear I don't know how I got so lucky or really this family got so lucky.

Chris I really hate this weather. Hope that classes are going well for Cait. That interview sounded so interesting.

Rae it is so good to see you here. I am so sorry about the back. My DH went through back problems - I am glad you are recovering. Glad you are slowing with the clients. I miss seeing your bird photos! Hope you had a great Thanksgiving.

Cheryl my sister got a cat and she is in love. She got it from a shelter and it has 6 toes so she named it mittens.

Have a great day all!

Good afternoon ladies... sorry in and out of here late and in a hurry, the power has been flickering on and off since the winds picked up and now I am afraid I will lose this post at any minute. So just wanted to say that I had a lovely Thanksgiving dinner with the In-Laws and they stayed the night and then off to an appointment for MIL this morning. Big wind storm travelling through our area so I sure hope that it doesn't knock the power off for any length of time. Better get off the computer and get some cleaning up done. Hi to everyone!! I will catch up with you all tomorrow!

Awwwwwwww, that's SO cute, Nancy. Could your sister have possibly gotten one of the "Hemingway Cats"? They have 6 toes. I can't wait to get mine.

LOL to your pun-derful dinners. We used to have them as well.

There will be 4 homes in the immediate future. Our GD, Ava, is already in her house. Her house was the "experiment" - we laugh about that because the things that went wrong with hers, are being made right with the construction of ours. (Poor Ava). Ours will hopefully be done by Thanksgiving - our oldest daughter, Adrienne and our SIL Roger's house is under construction - I know you've looked at my album on Google - theirs is the huge house that's just framed in at this point.

Our house is pretty close to theirs - and our oldest grandson, Cameron, has finally decided he wants to join us, so his house will be #4. He was here two weekends ago and staked his house out. It will be deep in the woods.

When we move out of this little lake cottage (that came with the last 25 acres that were purchased), Adrienne and Roger will move in until their house is done. After that, I think that Roger's (our son-in-law) parents will be moving in here and this will become their permanent home. He wants all of his family together! His mother is in a wheelchair and has a lot of health problems, so Roger wants her here. We all went to dinner together and she's so sweet - I can't wait to get to know both of them better.

His brother, Bill, and his wife, Telecia are also buying adjoining property and building a home. We now have about 60 acres, so there's plenty of room for growth. Roger's building several rental properties as well, so if need by, those can house additional family members until their houses are built.

We're going to have our own compound.
