Happy tuesday! Its Election Day here in the US, does that mean after today will stop seeing, receiving nasty ads? I doubt it. I voted already, by mail, so thankfully I get to tune out early.

G-M laurie, I know you'll be in here soon. have a great day!

Maureen- $300 for the tix? Were they really good seats or is that standard pricing now? I see friends selling Jets/Giants tix for over $100/each. I'll stay home and watch the games on TV for free haha. Although as a teen, we used to go see NJ Devils a lot, and hockey live is way better than on TV.
How did things go w/ the dentist? I think I have given up on my coffee stains at this point in life :becky:

Deb- I see you and Maureen talking about Jana's class. Can you link me up? It sounds great!

Fran- good luck with your DH, hope he picks one out before yours dies for good.
Hope that you get your mojo back- it is sooo frustrating when that happens :(

The banana bread was good- I had it for a snack before bed. I adapted a recipe I had found online, I'll try to post it today.

Hi Clara- bet that lazy weekend felt great!

Sally- I cannot believe the twins are one! I saw the pics on FB- that year went so fast. Cute cute cuuuute!

Hugs Kristy!!!! Hope your creativity comes back soon.

Hi Donna- hope you got lots done too.

Phyllis- enjoy that sunshine! It was pretty warm here too, right around 60*, which made it feel warmer outside than in my house.

Trudy- how long until YMG gets to retire? 8fingers crossed it all works out well*

Hugs to you too Eva, I don't like it when you feel down :( I need you to make me laugh!

OOhhhh, i think I saw some of Maureen's mojo fly past here!!!!:plane:

Tip on Tuesday- for everyone who is mojo-challenged, check out some of the AnnaLifts. I was so blocked when the aTeam started posted the anna lifts and I did a few and it really got me out of it. There is no way to use anna's stuff and not have it look great. She has freebies in her shop too. :)

Chris - Jana is going to teach her class againin February - it's 6 sessions and I think it was about $60 and worth every penny. It was at classrooms by debbie hodge .com spaces not necessary - you get to look over her shoulder and see how she scraps. Liked your page (autumn memories)went and bought the 2 kits you used I haven't downloaded them yet to see all the goodies. its my treat after tonight...

Me I'm off to vote today - doing the grocery store thing and we have a family get together this evening.... should say I'm looking forward to it but I'm not... Mamaw's youngest daughter will be there...the reason I have Mamaw....and not one of her charming daughters do .... say an extra prayer for patience and that I keep my big mouth shut so I don't end up on the evening news! I don't think they've spoke this time since before her birthday ... mid September time frame...work is so busy right now .... please .... don't get me started! Mamaw has been a handful since she woke up crying 1 day last week dreading the dinner if it weren't for the grandchildren and great granchildren even she would say screw it!

Maureen - mojo you are making some awesome pages...Just saw the wall street page!

gotta VOTE today. there are a few politicians around here who need thrown out. hopefully there's going to be more than the predicted 20% turnout!! THAT is shocking.,

another beautiful day here. amazing. i'm going to try to be out IN it at some point. have to go pick up my dead laptop at the repair shop, (the repairs are too expensive and i don't use it anymore anyway)take out the hard drive and hit it with a sledge hammer, then figure out how to get rid of the computer in an environmentally-legal way. or, i may just dig a hole in the back yard and throw it in. it's only what it deserves.

have a happy Tuesday.

Morning Ladies!

Happy Tuesday, no voting here must be in just certain areas of the country.....because of my work schedule being so wonky....I vote by mail, so nice to know that I don't have to worry about my schedule and have a say in who represents me....although my person never seems to win.

Still working on that missing mojo.....was exhausted yesterday so no mojo.....but I loved looking at all the creative goodies in the gallery.

Morning all...Not a lot planned this am. Meeting a friend for a chat and then hopefully get a walk in. I don't know how I let it go yesterday. :( I know me. If I don't get it done in the morning, sadly it doesn't happen.

Chris - If you listen to the 'The Digi Show' podcast there should be a coupon from GIS - probably in January for ?% off - before Jana's class in Feb. I still haven't watched the last two videos but they're on line for when I make time.

Debbie - Thanks for the compliment. My NYC pics are getting done bit by bit. I'll had to throw a few linear pages into the artsy mix to get some journaling in too. Hope the dinner tonight goes as easily as it can. Is Mamaw your grandmother or your x's? I'm losing the family picture a bit.

Well, breakfast and then the walk. Refresh the body and soul! cyall later. eta: no voting here. We vote a lot in September.

Maureen,

Maureen My mamaw is my mamaw ... she's been my rock for almost 52 years...to be exact 52 on 12/1. I lived with her as a child ...my mother was divorced. I love my mom but she is childlike (even at almost 70) almost like a sister more than a mother - I taught my grandma how to drive at 5 ... we went on trips together with my papaw and other cousins. My mother remarried when I was 6 - I got the stepfather from H... and I knew he was the pits at 6 and he didn't ever change. I have a 1/2 brother Mickey and a 1/2 sister Trishia ... I never refer to them that way but will here to make it easier for you. Mickey is married and lives in Orlando FL and drives a semi truck hauling cars. (45 now) he doesn't have children. Trishia is 42 and she has all the kids and all the grandkids... she got her parenting style from my mom... need I say more. Chris he's the oldest and the one I'm the closest too and who I spent the most time with ... not that it was intentional ... it's just how it is.... he knew I was smarter than uncle Fred at 4 or 5 ... just so you can picture Uncle Fred he has a masters degree and is a rocket scientist..retired Lt Col Army National Guard, civilian test propulsion director for the Air Force. and while we are divorced we are still friends. (I am smart too but not in the same ways ... ) Chris has Michael and new baby girl Charlie , they are at Ft Polk La he'll be 25 in April
Then there's in respective order by age Jessica 24 Jenny 22 Tiffany 21 and Katie 20 (all next year dates/years or I'll get confused. Jenny is the red headed girl she has Jaden he's 3 (3weeks younger than Michael) and Tiffany has baby Robby. I think Trishia is on husband no 4 .... I've lost count ...

Mamaw has 3 girls My mom ...Cathy she's in the middle wll be 70... 1/1 Francie she's in SC she has my cousin Berk and Jay... Frans 74 ... then there's the baby Dodie she's 62 she has Rhett and Ryan and Rhett is married and he and Anna have Tristan who is 5.

Thats way more than you wanted I'm sure but I hope it helps..

Mamaw devoted her entire life to her children, grandchildren ... while she worked in a factory for 30 years she will happily tell you she's drawn more years in retirement then she worked. She was divorced way back when ... when it was much more rarer... I never met her first husband. She got my papaw when Dodie was 7 and he's been gone almost 25 years. He was a very good grandfather! My parents kicked me out when I was 18 and I lived with them again when I went to college.

I can not even begin to describe how close I am to my mamaw so I'm not going to try to put it in words ...

My mamaw decided in 2003 to sell her home and divide up everything in the house and she moved in with my Aunt Dodie .... she moved in with me in 2008 after they had a huge disagreement. My grandmother finally said NO ETC and Dodie didn't like it! I'm stuck in the middle on a fine balancing line that is a balancing act like no other I have ever been on. Everyday with Mamaw is still special it's just not always easy.

hey girlies!! I'm packaging up a bunch of advent calendars this morning!! :) THen I'm off to follow Mr Gorgeous to the "Performance Mustangs" dealership where he just purchased a 70 Mustang Cobra Jet Clone Convertible last Friday!!! :) It needs a little fixin here and there...brake lights would be nice!! LOL!! But our personal mechanic took one look at it and told Mr Gorgeous that he did a great job of picking a good classic car in great shape. So needless to say, Mr G is very very happy with his purchase!! and girls, (and guys), he looks FINE in that car!! and I do, too!! LOL!! I'll scrap a pic of us soon!! I'm thinking we are going to take our Christmas pic in it!! it's soooo us!

Love you girlies!! and I can't wait to see all of your AnnaLifts!! (yes!! I promise to join in after this insane schedule dies down this week!!)

hugs!!

Morning everyone... a :rain: day today, but I am home all day, except for a quick trip to Walmart to get a couple of things. I hate going to Walmart, too big, too busy, but what I need to get is so much more inexpensive there. Hoping to get some more scrapping done too. A lazy day just to myself, I love my Tuesdays!! Off to grab a cup of :tea: then back for personals.

Mmmmmm Coffee, so nice and warm and tasty on this cold rainy morning.

Chris - Glad that you have found your scrapping mojo again, although from what I could tell you never really lost it :noidea: LOL we all seem to get into a slump every once in a while though don't we!! Hope you post your banana bread recipe here, I have a quick and easy recipe for banana muffins...yummmm now I'm :hungry:

Debbie - Ohhh family drama, we have lots of that in our family too!! Two sisters that will never talk to each other again ever!! and one of the same sisters and one of my brothers who can't stand each other and never talk also. Soooooo silly, I just say get over it already!! Ok I'm getting off of my pedestal now. :sorry: I hope that things go well at the dinner for you and your Mawma!!

Phylis - Enjoy that sunshine while you can!! Hope you have a nice funeral for your laptop :pound:

Maureen - Hope you get out for that walk this morning, perhaps I should try a walk in the rain, its only rain, it won't melt me. It might be very good for the soul!! Hope you have a nice chat with your friend!!

Frani - I hope you find your mojo soon, I wish I could help you look for it! You said that you have lost a lot of weight recently, any tips or secrets you want to share, I could stand to lose a few myself, damn menopause!!

Donna - sounds like your forecast for weather is the same as ours, hope it clears for you soon!

Sally - Wow sounds like you and your MG have found the perfect car for the two of you!! Can't wait to see the pics! Great idea to have your Christmas picture taken in it!! Your MG must be bursting with pride, guys love their toys don't they?? You are such a busy lady!! But I am sure its what keeps you looking so young and vibrant!
Hope you get everything mailed out today!!

Well off to start my Photoshop up and get busy, have a great Tuesday everyone, I know I will !!
