So, what should I complain about this morning?

No complaints from me. All of the things going on are in the "It is what it is" column. The weather, the coughing, the mess around the house- they are all transitory.
The things I can be happy about- the ceiling is done! I only have to run to the store to pick up my groceries- so darn smart of me to do that online. Caitlyn got a 92 on a paper from a professor who claims to never give As. Both kids are all registered for their final semesters of college. I had to chuckle a bit at Scott's situation. He is taking his Capstone seminar- the culmination of study in his degree field. While going over his grad requirements, his advisor asked if he ever took "Intro to Environmental Science 101." And he hadn't. Between his transfer from Community College and his changes in majors, it slipped through the cracks. Poor guy has to take in Intro level at the same time as his Capstone.

The reason I had to chuckle is that the same thing happened to me in college. I transferred in my Senior year from out-of-state to in-state and the Education degree I was going for in NJ needed a different Intro to Psychology than the one I took in PA. I was going to be doing my Senior Research Seminar for my Psychology degree (constructing and implementing my own research design) at the same time as taking a 101 Intro to Psych. Thankfully, I was able to test out of the 101 but Scott isn't able to do that.
Caitlyn had a similar issue in HS- she needed Lab Science to graduate and the one that she had taken all of a sudden didn't count. She had to take Geology as a senior in a class full of freshmen. But it was an easy A for her and the teacher loved her and let her do her own thing. ;)
See, lots of good things happening.

I am going to pick up my groceries and then head over to the Paint store to pick out my paint. This is the exciting part! My dad called yesterday hand he is going to come up on Friday to give me a hand. He will have to "paint my nose." He started painting my nose (booping me with a roller) when I was a toddler and then every time since. The last time he was here to paint, we were painting Cait's room and he got both of us. Yeah, I can be 51 and still appreciate the goofiness of that tradition hahaha!!

In the meantime, I shall ignore all of the weather reports calling for s*** on Friday. :smow:

hugs!!!

Uh-oh! Looks like I scared everyone away with my :blah: again.
Sorry!

Trudy- It is amazing to me that people will burn leaves. I guess it is a good way to dispose of them but it would make me nervous esp with all of the news of the wildfires. It is illegal to do that in NJ but my dad will do that in PA, but he is super-cautious about doing in under the right conditions. I hope that the smoke and smog clears for you soon, my lungs are hurting in sympathy.
Congrats on another commission!!!!! That is awesome news. Maybe you could do a small octopus one just so people can see that you can do ones other than turtles LOL
Good job on the points for online shopping.
yes, the time change messes with my head, and the dogs were whining at me for dinner an hour early too. I really dislike it being dark when I am cooking dinner, it makes my day feel so much short. But I have been using my therapy lamp again so hopefully the Seasonal Affective Disorder issues will stay away.
Hope that Heather and the boys are good!

wishing all of you a very happy day!

Good Morning O-zies!! Wow it has been quiet in here the past few days!! I guess everyone is busy with life! I got busy and painted the background for my painting yesterday and also got my second calendar page done. It was a bit of a challenge to do as I had to remove a person from the photo that I needed, but it actually turned out pretty good and I am happy with it. Now I need to get it uploaded to the gallery. I am going to get a challenge page done today too come hell or high water!! I can't paint today as I need to wait until this one is dry before I paint the turtle on it. I have another painting that I am going to paint two butterfly koi fish on, hopefully it turns out well! I have been giving the Octopus some thought, but oh my it has eight legs with a ton of tentacles, it could take forever LOL. I do love the idea though! This afternoon I get my hair cut and coloured, it will be nice to have it done and maybe I won't wake up with floppy hair in the mornings anymore, it has been pretty wild lately!! LOL .

Chris - How can it possibly be time for the kids to be doing their final semester already?? That is so wonderful that Cait got a 92 on her exam! WTG Cait!! Sorry to Scott that he has to take an extra class :mmph: makes you wonder how that slipped through the cracks? How fun that you and your Dad have that cute little tradition with the paint! So sweet!! Yes it is amazing to me to that people still burn leaves, they only have a very small window of opportunity to do so though, it is mostly the ones who have large acreages, but still the leaves decompose people and it is good for the soil!! Hope that your therapy lamp keeps you feeling good through the winter months and ohh noo not the "S" word!!!! :smow: say it isn't so!! Heather and her guys are all doing well and they are expecting the white stuff over the next few days too. Their first snowfall was on the 1st of Nov. but it did not stick around too long. It's going to be a long winter!!

Off to make the bed and get into the shower, then another wonderful cup of coffee and I will get busy with my scrapping today! Have a good day everyone!

I am still around... just been busy with some chores and doing some scrapping. Thank heavens, I am feeling much better. Could be because the weather has been warmer with lots of sunshine. Trying to enjoy it as a couple of cold fronts are coming in soon. Not sure if we will get rain or snow from them. Noticed the hamper is full so guess I should get the laundry done while I stay inside once the weather hits.

Chris... congrats on getting the ceiling painting finished! I can't believe what all you get done - makes me tired just reading about them. Hope the light will help ward off the SADD for you.

Trudy, congrats on another commission/sale. Can't wait to see the butterfly Koi fish one. Sounds delightful and colorful.

Have a good day, everyone.

Hahaha, Chris, I wish your :blah: to was a problem! We love your fairy journey, but at some days we have to deprived of them, because unfortunately life is too overwhelmed. I'm afraid that I'm not a good company as I'm stressed these days. As I mentioned in one of my previous post, I have problems with the appointments at the vet clinic, which have to use now. They probably think that the troubles to reserve an app for examination, shows that they are very busy, understand they are successful! But I see only that they can't use the simple thing as scheme for schedules. If I get apps late at the month, that's mean the next month recheck will match with Christmas, which means it's not an option, and all become so messy. As I was told you before it's a bless that you likes your vets! I don't want even mentioned how snooty the man looks at me. Ok, I get it that it's strange to be a crazy cat lady, but my personal life it's none of your business, dude! I can't even play my golden card 'at least I'm try to save someone else', as he is an doctor, and he save much more than me! Yep, the life sucks!

I can't to get involved at the complainings from the weather, as I like this crispy days we have now, and I'm absolutely jealous to these of you that had snow already. In fact this is more normal for autumn, than these strange warm days here. Also once after I was complaining so much from the summer hotness, it will be strange now to be unhappy from the cold too.

Rae was liked one of my photos on Instagram, and post Taz, so it's relief to have some touch to her. Nancy's silence makes me nervous, but probably she have fun and she's too busy!

Chris, bravo for the good job, you rock girl! We all are so proud of Cait! Sorry for Scott's trouble, but he is smart and this wouldn't be difficult for catching up! Oh, you and your dad are so sweet!

Trudy, congrats for the another sale! I love the turtles and the little details at every of them! I can see why people loves them, even it's a little bit strange to continued ask for something that other already have. I guess the time now is different than it was for the impressionists!
Aww love the October calendar page! And person removing was did so well, masterpiece!

Kay, I'm happy to hear that you feels better!
