Good morning!!!
How are you all doing today? I hope everyone had a solid night of sleep and is ready to roll. And if not, guess what I have for you?
Plenty of it too.
I'm feeling a little conflicted this morning. On the one hand, I got a boatload of housework done yesterday. I cleaned my kitchen, LR, and DR. I dusted the cabinets and light fixtures, plus I mopped and vacuumed. Then I went to my friend's house and did the same for him. So that was one thing. On the other hand, I heard back from my LLMD and I do have an active case of Lyme. My bloodwork came back positive, my rheumatoid factor is higher than it had been, although lower than the worst of it. It is supposed to be under 14. Mine is 58 -- although it was up in the 70s to 80s a few years ago when I was very sick.
That's the part that I am conflicted about-- I was able to do all of that cleaning and I am not struggling this morning. I mean, I *am* tired, but that's nothing new. But-- since the lab work is going in the wrong direction, I decided it was a good idea to start treatment, (again!! UGH!). Now that I am more aware of the possibility, some of my oddball symptoms make sense. After I messed up my left knee, my right knee has been bothering me. I chalked it up to favoring the injured knee but considering that was over 4 months ago, I guess it *might* not be it.
My lumpectomy scar has been sore (Lyme bacteria gets "stuck" in scar tissue) but that was "sympathy pains" from thinking about my BFF. The blanking out on words and people's names-- all because of me not sleeping. The heart palpitations and POTS symptoms-- anxiety.
All of it can be blamed on something other than Lyme but when I put it all together.... pfft!
It's freaking annoying and depressing and yeah, a little scary. But what can you do?
I have a bunch of errands to do this morning and then I'm working this afternoon. Please let the kids be nice to each other this time.
I have a really neat lesson planned and the woman I am working with is so knowledgeable about moss and lichen. I am very excited to work with her. It's raining now but should clear up before the program starts. Perfect weather to look for samples of them
Wishing all of you a wonderful day!

LOL just kidding, I can't believe that this is the last Monday of the November and that December is just around the corner!! The one thing I am happy about is that our Thanksgiving is over and done with and I don't have to worry about that!! I am sure everything will be perfect for your Thanksgiving and then you can breath a sigh of relief when it is all done and cleaned up!!
.

I will have to search around for some good ideas! I would appreciate any ideas you can throw my way!!
. It is crazy how much you got done yesterday with all that cleaning!! Your house will be all ready for your big dinner and I hope you find chairs for everyone to park their butts in while they are there! Yes the meeting this Saturday with the In-Law's is a bit concerning, but I am not going to get stressed about it, 10 years ago MIL did the same thing and announced to everyone that, that might be her last Christmas as she had a few mini strokes. 10 years later and she is till here with us
but he has mellowed a bit over the past few years and realizes that we are in no hurry to get anywhere these days! Hopefully your Mark doesn't have to lose his temper and it is smooth sailing for you! Hope that the car is finally fixed and it doesn't give you any trouble on your trip! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving with your family!

Prayers, like Trudy said, maybe you wont need to be on meds long. Hopefully they start quickly and you feel even better for the holidays.
