Man, I am not a happy camper today. My poor little Whisky is having more diarrhea which means that her Giardia infection might be back. She was fine over the weekend but she started having loose poop in the morning and now it is only getting worse.
It has been 4 weeks since she finished her treatment so it makes sense since I think the life cycle of the parasite is about that. as soon as I get home from my Drs appt, I am going to have to call the vet and see what to do. Giardia in dogs is notorious for being hard to treat.(I can't believe I am saying this-- ) I hope that we get a really good cold snap to maybe kill anything that is left on the lawn.

Darn it.

I am so happy that I got food shopping done both early in the morning and early in the week. The store was a freaking madhouse at 9 am.
After I got home and unpacked everything, I had to clean the kitchen so I could work on the next set of F-W items. I made a batch of shower steamers with a nice wake me up blend with rosemary and citrus oils. They should be hard enough to unmold today and then I will make another batch with a cold relief/sinus blend this afternoon. I cannot believe that the darn show is next week!

Part of Gary's Lyme Disease is how affects his brain and he goes through manic/depressive stages. Last week he was on a manic roll cleaning the basement. And wow, he did a spectacular job! But this week he is in a depressive state and is very tired and only wants to sleep. I was hoping he would make some of the tine holders and maybe he will still have time to do them. I stress so much about how much I should make, how little I will sell, will people show up?
But at least I have the products made for when I make the baskets up for my neighbor and family.

Today is the day I meet with my breast surgeon to see if she has any answers or comforting words about the darn MRI results. I know rationally that she will say that the spots are too small for any answers so we wait and see. But since when am I rational? :rofl:

I have to get heading out, I will do fast personals then I need to be out the door soon. I was hoping that maybe I could do a tiny bit of Xmas shopping on my way home (dollar store bwahaha!!) but I guess I will have to play that by ear.

good morning - the sun is shining at it should be in the upper 50s. But the best is that my Devils won against the Wild last night. It was in OT and it made me smile. I have a few teams that I really dislike and the Wild is one of them. So this really made me happy. My team let the Wild tie it up with 2 min left in the 3rd period but they took a deep breath and put their work boots on and scored in OT. John Moore who scored the OT winner has the most by a defensemen since the 3-3 format was begun. I have home games on Wed. and Fri. so excited by that! Luther and I had a nice walk. It was not too windy when I started but it was really gusting when we got back. Went shopping for a few necessities at the grocery store so I could cook. And we had a great Blue Apron dinner. Pasta with brussels sprouts and tomato sauce. The sprouts added a unique flavor. Today will be a chicken dinner. My DH will be home doing his shopping and getting his glasses straightened. Luther will be happy.

Chris glad your day was good. Glad that you will talk to your surgeon and get more info. Your products sound awesome! So sorry that Whisky is not doing so well. I have heard how hard it is get rid of. Good luck with that!

Felis I am so sorry you were blue. I hope you are getting more sleep and feeling better. It does not help when you have to endure hearing your uncle talk about his hobby which is so counter to your feelings. Hopefully your animals will give your more snuggles!

Trudy sorry about the rain. The weather man says you will be getting soaked. I never want to hear about too much rain. Glad your home is not in a valley! Is the rain turning to snow on the mountains? Glad you are getting a lot accomplished!

Rae wow great shopping again! Sorry you too are getting soaked! But love just how well you are doing with your weight and size decrease. WOW that is the pits about your upgrade. I know that I too hate upgrading but shock of all shocks the last Apple upgrades have gone pretty smoothly, as I knock on wood.

Jean I need a scanner so bad. I have so many years photos I would love to have digital access to. Have fun making the book!

Good Morning O-zies! It is just pouring here again this morning :rain: Yesterday later in the morning the sun appeared and it was such a gorgeous day! I went for a walk in the afternoon and the sky was filled with eagles and turkey vultures. I wish I would have had a fabulous lens for my camera! They were quite high at times, but would catch the wind and just soar for such a long time! Sometimes coming quite close to the rooftops. Nancy and Jean you would have just loved to see it. I think I counted at least 30 of the them and many more that were sitting in the trees down by the lake. Not sure what brought them out in such big numbers, other than the Salmon run which is pretty much over with. :noidea: I got the first coat of paint applied to our latest project and it is looking pretty good. Hope to get it finished off in the next day or so. I need to get to the pool and do my laps, I doubt that I will be doing the hike this week, the rain is supposed to continue to come down in buckets for the next few days and its no fun to hike in a downpour!

Chris - Poor W!! How awful that the Giardia Infection has come back! Sure hope that your Vet can help to get rid of it once and for all! Good luck with your visit to the surgeon, sending you all of my positive vibes today that the info from her is good news! Try not to stress too much about your faerywings party! It will all come together and you will have fun with it! Hopefully your Gary is out of his depression state in time to get some of the wood cut for your project! Glad that you got your shopping done early, its nice to be done that job!

Nancy - Wow your devils are doing so well! DH told me to ask you for your Devils to take it easy on his Bruins on Wednesday! LOL I think he is pretty worried. Then they play the Penguins, so I am sure you will be cheering for the Bruins that night! Yes we are to get lots and lots of rain over the next few days. It really bothers some people to have it dark and rainy, but it really has never affected me that much, I don't get depressed by it or anything. It is much nicer when the sun is shining of course, but I don't mind the wet weather. Its the reason why everything is so green and big here. I wouldn't live anywhere else. Yes there is snow in much higher elevations and I think that Mt. Washington where my son lives will be opening for the season in the next week or so. Some mountains over on the mainland are already up and running. It sounds like you are going to have a lovely sunny day to enjoy, and I love to hear about your yummy blue apron meals, you are so lucky to get those delicious dinners!

Rae - Darn those updates!! Hope you managed to get everything up and running again! Thanks for the suggestions to help me lose those last few pounds, I think that perhaps I am not getting enough water also. I really need to be more diligent with that and I will try to eat a bit less protein I really like the idea of going paleo, but oh I love my dairy! I will have to think about that option though. I am not going to stress too much about it, I am feeling so good and its nice to be in a size 8 jeans and not 14's anymore! :bliss: Wish I had your shopping karma, I could use a few more winter items! Although last night I got a message that the local consignment children store were having 50% off the entire store between 5 and 6 pm. so off I went and picked up a really nice exosaucer for little Hunter to use while they are here visiting. I will be able to sell it again after they are gone, but I picked it up for $8 so yay for me!

Jean - Hope you are having fun with your project! What a nice idea for Christmas gifts! It is always so nice to get things that you know have been created with lots of love!

It is so nice to have sun again today. We'll be doing grocery shopping soon so the sun is good. I got lots done yesterday and did an outline for the writing. There will be photos, a map, ephemera, charts, and old documents to enliven the text. In fact, gotta go now. Maybe can get back with personals.

Good morning, ladies. Went to VV for the seniors shopping this morning. Let's just say the clothing karma continues I've settled into my routine pretty well, am at a weight I am happy with, so now I need to get back into weight lifting and figure out 3 times/wk I can do it. I have to pick some days/times and put it on my calendar and make sure I stick to it pretty regularly. Tomorrow is going to be day one. After I drop Taz off at daycare I'll come back and do a routine before starting work.

I bought some canned wild tuna at Safeway and its so much better than regular tuna. It will be a lunch time staple for me now, along with some canned wild salmon. I sure hope all these dietary changes help my cholesterol testing in January.

Chris - sorry to hear G is on the depressive slide, hope he soon comes back up again. Hope poor W is feeling better soon too. Poor pup, she's been thru so much. Good thing she is with your loving family. Hope the MRI results are good.

Nancy - sounds like a yummy dinner. I've been thinking of ways to use brussels sprouts. Our store has sprouts already shredded up so it would be easy to make some kind of salad or side dish with it.

Trudy - wish you were here to shop at my store. You'd love it. I would love to see all the Eagles. I haven't gotten a great pic of one in a long time. I hardly ever see them around here.

Jean - sounds like all is well with you and you've been busy.

Hello All,
My sister gives me magnesium, apply to the skin of belly and give you deep sleep. Unfortunately deep sleep means also nightmares. This morning I wake up much later, but in good mood, so will can catch part of the missed work tonight till watch Midsomer Murders and everything gonna be alright. It so cold outside, poor homeless dogs! My pets are lazy inside and we had nice cozy day. At my family have tradition to create practical list with things that everybody needs, so other to choose presents from it, a little bit like letter to Santa. That's the way I received all my sweaters . When we was teen my mom always choose something that we don't wont to wear and my dad perfumes. So we decided that will be most helpful if everyone first choose few things, show them to others and they decided what to buy. Now whit the modern tech is even more easy to resend the pics and links, so to can found them on sale . So today we start to make a list with links, to can fast shop on Black Friday.

Rae, we also have a problems after firefox update. When open two tabs at same time it froze. So I can't listen music and at the same time to typing or do something other. I think problem is from them so hope to fix it fast, because is so annoying. I also hope that your cholesterol testing will be in norm next time! Don't underestimate the influence of stress too, so good to hear that you are made new schedule which to keep you in routine.

Jean, this project sounds so cool! If you will print your small book at some online store be sure that you are subscribed for the newswater, so to not miss the deals. Great that you have sun, me too but was sooo cold, deceptively, it wasn't good to stay for a long.

Chris, so bad about the W, unfortunately I'm not surprised, most of the homeless 'were born sick',nice that you have good vet! Fingers crossed to hear good news from your visit to the surgeon! Don't worry about the open house, at least it will be fun!

Trudy, thank you so much for your kindly words from yesterday! I wouldn't be in bad mood for so long, I promise , I plan from Friday to turn on a festive wave! WOW, this with the birds in the sky is been so pretty! I still hope that the weather will turn cold but dry, so you'll can go on hike! I'm curious do this exosaucer for Hunter, is something like a chair or this when they use to walk around?! I'm not much familiar with the child things. I bet you count days till they'll come.
