"wake me up, when this crazy ends.."
Sung to the tune of .......Wake me up, When September ends....
My whole family is having insane times here. I cannot figure out WTH is going on but there is some baaaaad juju in my house. Yesterday was filled with little issues all day long. Then we get a call from Leah and her mom. THey had borrowed Scott's car for her driving test. But then it started making loud noises and wasn't running right. Took it to the gas station, no oil again! It was just in the shop for 4 days and $700 last week for that. Thankfully he had oil in the back of his car, so they put 2 quarts in and got it to her house. Today after school, we are taking two cars down to her house so we can get his car home and have a back up car following him in case there is any trouble on the way.
I know this isn't a huge deal in the long run, but it is like, really? Can we catch a break somewhere? Anything that costs money for us is kind of a huge deal, so my fingers are crossed that it is either a very minor issue or that the garage screwed something up and will fix at no/little cost.
So I am babysitting, off to work, Cait has a drs appt at 3 and then at 4 we are caravaning down to Wayne to hopefully get Scott's car home w/o the engine seizing. Tomorrow is Christmas shopping with my mom and I don't have one damn idea for anyone!!!!!
:yield:
All of this pisses me off to no end b/c I never feel like I am physically or mentally capable of handing it any more. (Fuhgeddabout emotionally, that has been MIA for a loooong time! Bwuahaah!)
Sorry for the icky cranky ranting.
To make you smile:
How cute is that!!!
Oh and speaking CUTE-- Sunday my brother took Christopher up to my dad's firehouse. Christopher was a fireman for Halloween and my dad even got him a Rainbow Lakes Fire Dept badge for his costume. So they dressed him back up in his costume and my dad put on his gear and they took photos of them by one of the fire trucks. Cait and my mom were there too and there are a couple of amazingly adorable ones of her with him. And one of my fave's was of Christopher's costume helmet next to my dad's, that has his last name and 1966, the year he joined. Kind of emotional for me.
I have to check in with SIL to see what they are doing with the pics for Christmas b/c I don't want to steal any ideas but OMG talk about sweet scrap material.
Tip on Tuesday.
Vodka.
That is it.
